Great video Paul, not all paint job have to be perfect. Also, as you keep mentioning you can call it Roboute Guilliman at home! lol

@@Freedom2803 just as horus had little horus aximand (who looked exactly like horus), it's time gorillaman had someone who looked like him. Little gorillaman! 🤣

The connection between knowledge and skill is practice, and the connection between skill and mastery is time. Kudos for trying; keep it up! 🤔 😀

@modelworx ill keep trying for sure! My entire deathwatch and custodes armies don't have a single helmet (if the option to have a bare face is available anyway). They look proper grim dark and battle ready (not splotchy from thick paints) but they aren't parade ready. I would be laughed out of a golden daemon competition for sure, or any competition with the faces I paint 🎨 🤣

@oldmodeler7747 I did indeed. PATIENCE is key to a proper paint job. For some reason, I can properly gage when paints are completely dry on armor, and other surfaces. But the moment it's skin, I get impatient for some reason and misjudge the drying times

Interesting technique but I feel like the spru would get in the way. I learned to paint faces from miniac, he has some pretty good face painting tutorials where he talks about using makeup tutorials as reference.
