You're really another level. How you can describe what you're doing in that detail whilst giving it 100% driving is so impressive.
It's insane. So gd smooth while talking about it and still hit 12 seconds under gold. Absolutely bonkers.

I'm in the process of just learning the track and the good thing is that driving the ring 2 laps and somewhat past the first corner of the third lap is what you need to complete the distance for the daily ticket. I still have to get two invitations to get all cars in the game so that motivates me to get the daily ticket every day. Perfect Nurburgring practice. I've shaved of 20 seconds only by starting to memorize the track, not by trying to push. GT DD Pro and PSVR2 makes it super amazing - everyday!

You’re a legend Igor. I’ve gotten gold on all the sectors, but struggled to get gold on a full lap. The extra tips you provided here helped me get gold by only one tenth of a second, good enough for gold though!
I’m on a controller and had to use TCS setting 2, weak counter steer assistance setting and brake balance rear biased number 5. If I were able to use my wheel, I wouldn’t need the TCS or counter steer. Thanks for the guide!
On a controller I find mimicking Sennas throttle control through corners helps not to lose traction without TCS.
I reckon you know how he used his throttle, if not he used to tap it several times throughout the corner. Tons of videos on it. Just search for "Senna throttle cornering" and you'll probably find it. The man was a genius😮

Thanks for the video! This is easily the best and I’ve watched quite a few. I can get each sector at a good time, just not all in the same lap 😂. Also for some reason I struggle with sector 1 even though I’ve done it so many times now. I’m usually around 42 seconds everytime. Hoping this video will help!

It's really interesting to see from which points you drive much faster than me, sometimes a whole 10km/h more than me, but there are also a few corners that I'm a little faster.. I'm still missing your time for decades.

It's also very important to watch out for where you want to keep the minimum speed the highest and not care to much of exit, or other way around. Depending on the corner or what's coming next you have to change the approach and optimize your lap time!

This bmw is gonna be in my worst nightmares i swear, i killed 2 hours of my life for a time of 7.02 when gold required 6.57
@@scx9800 Don't give up but keep at it, and you'll eventually pass this one. I spent a lot more than two hours before I could make it, so I have to assume you're much better than I am if you got that time with this car in only two hours. Anyway, it only takes practice and, needless to say, patience and perseverance.
Far from being impossible, but let's face it, it's a damn pain in the neck. Again, don't give up and try again as many times as it takes until you gold it.

@@scx9800 Yeah, it's advisable to restart as far as I can remember, because hitting the wall tends to reduce your pace. It's much better to master every single section of the track until you feel comfortable with it. That's what I did and it worked, along with the precious advice given in this video. 👍

Any tips on this track for us players who are still on a controller? I can't even break top 10 in the World GT Series race and I don't want to finish out of points for fear of dropping out of the top 3 and having to redo the entire thing again. Using the Mazda Vision, if that makes any difference.

But what's the point to drive a simulator and not use cockpit camera??? That camera in the front bumper is so unrealistic and almost a cheat... to me, totally spoils the experience
I am only 5 seconds slower at the sector time afterthe carussel. I lose 10seconds more afterthat 😂😂😂

Doing this with a controller is so difficult because it's very hard to be consistent with turning. The input make its very tough.
Indeed but mid 6:30 is easily doen with controller imo.

@@Marc98338 Maybe for you, but in the context of the whole player base, if a large majority of players don't have the achievement wouldn't that make it tough overall? I've read about players grinding for gold for weeks and still not getting it

It’s is km/h not mph.
This was quite a challenge in GT Sport and with how different the physics feel like in GT7, I'd imagine it's gonna be as much of a challenge now. It's one of the few tracks I actually enjoy driving over and over and over, though, even if I struggle to get a decent laptime, it's a fun type of hard
It was 6:57.900 for the Gold in GT Sport.
Now it's 20 sec faster in GT7.

Do you have any tips for a controller user? I'm having a horrible time with this track. Excellent clean lap by the way.
prolly commenting too late but i use controller and it’s literally impossible to keep the car steady. i put my break balance on 2 or 3 depending if you want or more oversteery car and traction control on 2-3. if you heavy break try your best not to smash the triggers or else the car will snap to oversteer and it’s over. i struggled with throttle control on this track with this car but once you get it it’s satisfying

Got all gold in sectors, except sector 8 in 5hrs, still have to attempt the full lap. Why is the sector 8 so annoying

I'll never understand how people can get even remotely close to such times on a controller that has 1cm of movement, input interpolation and filtering going on all over the place and cannot really distinguish between 50°and 5° "wheel turn angle"

Small section wise practice for Nordschleife should be banned in racing games.. That's not how u exploit the track in a very artificial way. This is not the way automobile racing should be played.
