Looks divine, we have no chippies by us, dunno what happened to the British staple, we have the nearest about 3 miles away and that is 15 quid for chips, small fish and mushy peas, you got to open a restaurant Andy, much love X
Fer does Andy that all looks absolutely gorgeous I have not used my deep fat fryer in years and was thinking of getting rid of it but after seeing this video not now 👍👍🦈🦈🍟🍟
Nailed it, mate👨🍳. Especially the triple cooking and mint sauce. Only thing that could improve on that is if, as you said, the fish was haddock. Good job, Andy👍.
Andy as always that looks banging as you would say 😉and that last battered piece of cod clinched it for me even if it did make laff being so hot😂 what a crunch👌 I must make this as many of you homemade dishes p.s i'm still trying to perfect the indian rub and got the guinea pigs on it as i type 👍
I prefer haddock but that meal looked so delicious that if I was sitting in a chippy where there's a resturant as well as takeaway and that was presented to me , I'd absolutely love it. I'd be in my own little world of total bliss. Thank you for sharing sweet xx
Gosh! That looked so good and no point going to the chippy. The cod in batter held the heat so well, that you burnt your clack and the bud wasn't there to cool it.
you forgot to do a floyd, and test the beer before using it. I watch a video from the pie factory and the reviewer loved the chips as they were also coated in batter. some fish shops add peprika to add more colour to the batter not much more so it goes more golden looking. if you do not use beer then you need to add some baking powder
Cod worm's found in quite a few saltwater fish, but it's rare if the fish is processed properly. Freezing and cooking both kill it. Just a bit of extra protein, that's all🤷♂️

That's ridiculous. My local it's 8.50 for large fish chips and mushy peas.
Wow that’s expensive
Now that looks top-notch, Andy. You're from scratch. Cooking videos are definitely the best thing you do, IMHO 👍
Thanks 👍🏻
Be carful Andy everyone’s gonna be pulling up at your gaff for fish and chips 😂😝👍😉
I’ll lock the doors and draw the curtains 😂👍🏻
@@fatandy 😛

@@fatandy Yeah, I know you like your haddock too mate. Mind you, a nice bit of hake, rock or skate hits the spot an' all🎯.

Thanks 👍
Definitely better than the chippy Andy. You're lucky living by a fishing port 👍
Thanks 👍🏻
It came from his FREEZER, wherein it had lain for a YEAR! 🤣
Nice!!!
Thanks!
Love it! Although it would have to be garden peas for me instead of mushy peas.
Sounds great 👍🏻
Looks savage
Thanks
Almost perfect, you even had mint sauce on the peas, but you could improve things with some lard to deep fry that lot instead of cooking oil.
Beef dripping 👍🏻
Gosh! That looked so good and no point going to the chippy. The cod in batter held the heat so well, that you burnt your clack and the bud wasn't there to cool it.
😂 it’s was a bit hot 😂👍🏻

Are we invited for dinner they look very lovely 😊 you would pay about £20 for two for that!!
😂👍🏻
You're making Kay (Kaye?) suffer. Hope you left her a crumb? It looked good.
I did her some as well 😂👍🏻
Andy you ever considered opening a chippy?
I nearly bought one 30 odd years ago
Try using vodka in the batter. Works a treat
I have heard that, never tried it.
cod yuk,... full of worms
