It is comfirmed that titan magic can negate collector magic belos didn’t have those powers before tapping into the titan so he kind of did stop his powers also he telekinetically moved the moon he didn’t just push it with his hands
There is also Stringbean being her Palisman allows her to cast magic and it's even implied in the series finale that the two found a way to cast spells.
That is true, but if Anne can land a lucky hit on Stringbean then Luz would be screwed out of her strongest offensive options, and pretty much all her mobility options since even in Titan form she needs Stringbean to fly.
@@infiniteon1834which would happen thanks to Anne's speed or telekinesis. Destroying stringbean would not stop Luz's titan magic, but it would stop Luz from quickly amplifying her attacks by drawing bigger circles. And Luz skill in her titan form. And Anne would have a few more options to end the fight.
I can't even imagine this fight in early season 2 if Luz had the glyphs Belos was using like the one that petrified or the one that made the gooey demonic hands. If only we got more Owl House it would've been really interesting to see what other titan magic she could find.
Remember that Titan blood can create rifts between dimensions and create Time Pools. So I think a lot of people are underestimating the powers of a titan. I don't think Luz can beat Anne in their strongest forms.(especially if we talk about future Anne with the powers of that Cat Guardian) But she is still probably wildly stronger than seen in the show. If only we had seen more of it.
@@MHTheOwlHouser that is more hacks and require prep time and it has to be mixed in water for that trick to work . luz has neither used it in battle. anne's calamity gems can also do the same. anne opened a rift between dimenstions as well.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 and you think she can't create water with all the countless abilities she could have? Also "prep time"? I was referring to her Titan form, I guess I didn't make that clear, so I guess sorry, that's on me. But I'm pretty sure when she's imbued with the powers and properties of a titan in her titan form she won't need prep time to do that. You're also forgetting the Titan is the source of all magic on the boiling isles. It is purely theoretical and hypothetical but it's highly likely she has all those powers in her arsenal when in Titan form, just because she didn't use something doesn't mean she can't do it, she only had a few brief minutes with that form on screen after all.
@@MHTheOwlHouser Anne what makes you think Anne couldn't follow in after her with her speed. Anne has a lot of abilities and AOE that could counter a lot Luz's abilities. Like how she can create/summon her constructs anytime and into anything she wants while luz needs to create circles just to make her spells work or amplify them (the bigger the circle, the stronger the spell).
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 all in all if we take these hypothetical theories as truth to high ball Luz. It would be a battle between Hax and strength. Luz would have way too many Hax abilities to keep track of, while Anne would have too much strength and power to keep up with. I guess the question should be "Are those abilities capable of affecting Anne?" And we definitely have no clear cut answer for that, they can work on a cosmic being like the Collector but that might be a bit too specific too scale to.
I love Amphibia, I really love the fact that the show didn't shoe in a love interest for Anne. It's always good to a see a female character whose love life is left ambiguous. Sometimes it feels like writers are fixated on making sure all of the female characters in a story have a love interest.
It was an interesting choice for sure that even when it flashed forward, none of the girls had a confirmed love interest either way. Were they seeing someone then? Possibly. Likely, even. But they left it open-ended. And then on the other side of that spectrum, we know what will likely happen not just with Luz and Amity, but also Eda and Raine... and yet, that elevates that show's story too.
@@zememerr2329 True, Lumity was quite a natural, but unfortunately it (alongside Hunter) took up screen time from other characters like Willow and Gus I still like the ship tho
One of the most requested DEATH BATTLEs right now because of it being in the Tournament of Champions. It has a high chance of happening in Season 11 because of the crew loving the match up.
I think the show did a big disservice to Luz when comparing her power level since we never actually got to see the full potential of Luz and Stringbean. There were just hints at what Stringbean could do with her insane magic blast and "worked something out" with letting Luz use magic. Stringbean was also able to (mostly) block a full blast from Titan Belos. As for her Titan powers, in theory she would be able to do every magical feet we have seen in the show with ease since all magic (and life!) came from the Titan. And that's not counting whatever powers the Titan had on top of that. Titan blood can create doorways to other dimensions after all. Although their powers are still probably weaker then those shown by the Collector. Overall against Anne, I think Luz would have a fighting chance, but anymore then that sadly is into speculation. In the end though, if Anne was to use all 3 gems she would still die herself.
I don’t think so as Anna’s power constructs we’re not that strong now as for string beans destructive power at her weakest state then I don’t think that the energy constructions would work and even so be speed feats can match teleportation and and telekinesis would work either way sense luz can basically do that to with her wind power or just blast it also her shock waves weren’t that power sense it was pushing a toads as it’s high and like said before every spell we have seen in the show she can do all she needs is to properly imagine it
@@keithherbert7151 a lot of those feats like her shockwaves were in Anne's weaker form, the form she got in the final episode are way stronger. Anne could basically make whatever she wants with those constructs with greater AOE than Luz has. That spell that covered the boiling isles required Luz to make several giant circles in the air. Anne could create her constructs whenever and wherever she wants. Well both have the same tricks. Both can fly, survive in space, amplify their attacks and fight at range.
Overall, while Luz was shown to be powerful with her glyph magic and her palisman Stringbean, I ultimately think that Calamity Anne with just a portion of her calamity powers still has Luz beat. As for Titan Luz against Calamity Anne at full power, it's actually pretty close with the slight edge going to Anne. Plus, Anne using the power of all 3 calamity stones far outclassed Luz at her most powerful.
I suppose, but just remember that just the *blood* of a titan is powerful enough to tear open portals to other dimensions. Luz didn't even know how to properly use magic and still did a shit ton of damage. Fully trained, I bet that kinda power could destroy entire worlds. Titans are basically gods, so it's a god vs god fight, but I think that neither of them would win because before it could even finish Luz and Marcy would end up fan girling the hell out of anime over in the corner. (Nobody knows how they got there during the middle of a fight but they're there for literal days)
@@god_2.0_the_better_version Anne's gems also tear portals between realms. And that was like 20-50 of her power that helped open that portal. Anne fully trained can be the guardian of the multiverse.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 I know. I'm saying that *just* the blood of a Titan is able to do that. I'm nor arguing with who's more powerful I just stated Luz is a lot more powerful than people are giving her credit for

@@-adolfo- They gotta reference the fact that they've both technically died in their series in their battle lol. Maybe have a moment where it seems like one of them won and then, they come back in their mega form. They can probably do that with Luz; have Calamity Anne obliterate her with her blue blast, and then Luz comes back in Titan form and the fight continues haha.
@@santosicthe Titan can only rev Luz once, via sacrificing himself. The guardian can revive Anne as much as they want. No matter how much you lowball Anne Luz can’t win this.
Seeing the thumbnail, it would actually be really cool to see, not only seeing an epic battle along super ghost Molly, but I can also picture a final battle towards a powerful enemy in which they join forces and the final blow begins in their ultra transformed form, something comparable to the super Mario movie final star battle o.o
The only reason I'd expect them to bring in all three of their super-powered forms in the same extended episode at the same time would be so that they can come together in the final battle. If they didn't do that, the episode would be a disappointment even if we get an epic fight between the three of them lol. I mean, that is the power of a crossover between powerful characters isn't it? :)
Honestly Luz’s best chance against Anne is when there both in base she’d probably win base to base but I don’t think calamity Anne at full power is losing to titan Luz although it’s still close
I think in base to base they are pretty even in speed and stamina being able to perform or scale to people who can dodge lasers and light glyphs with better leeway for Anne thanks to her strength, agility and manuverability. Also Anne can tap into her calamity powers without fully transforming.
I’ve considered this Versus. Not as much as Anne vs Steven Universe, but I’ve thought about it. You make a lot of good points that I’ve considered myself. The unfortunate part is Luz didn’t really get a proper exploration of her full powers at the end of the series, so the most we can do is speculation on her part. Titan Luz essentially can do anything she wants since she has unlimited access to all magic of the isles. She can be super strong, fast, have magic barriers. You’re right Stringbean is probably her most powerful asset as it allows her to use magic without glyphs and can shapeshift into whatever she needs. That magic blast I don’t think means anything. I think that was just the magic bursting outwards when Strongbean was born. One issue I have though is, Luz’s Titan form was even more limited than Anne’s. Anne could at least call upon her form when she really needed to, but Luz only got that form from the Titan and had it even shorter than Anne. No time limits though? It’s hard to say, cuz while Anne has the power of a god, technically, so does Luz, since a Titan seems to have command over their own world of control of the natural elements, space, time, and afterlife is anything to go by. Ultimately, I think Anne wins this fight, simply because she can do what Luz can and possibly more and she has had a lot more time to learn these powers, plus I think she showed off more of what she can do than Luz did. Of course if you disagree with me, that’s fine. Like I said, there’s a lot of variables that unfortunately weren’t explored on Luz’s part and left mostly to speculation. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
i think it also depended alot on the soursers of the tranformation, while annes sourse of calamity powers is that inbetween diamentions omniknowing thing, luz's sourse is a titan, that already got beaten, killed, overpowered n tricked so doing something that is 10 times stronger then a collector w magic intact wouldnt make sense bc he got defeted by em in the first place
@@louzo5175Both Anne and Luz have outliers that would put them much higher. Personally I don't think Luz could scale to the collector because their magic just cancels out their power. Yeah, the problem is that Dinsey killed and rushed the Owl House ending, so we never got to truly see Luz develop well as a character, unlike Anne, who was able to grow as not just an individual but also a better understanding of her powers. At the same time, Luz was given a limited arsenal and skillset due to the shows, making her very weak and not truly allowing her 1v1 battles to see how strong she gets in the future.
@@R.W.P. true but it would’ve been nice to see LuZ get more experience and training with her glyphs and Stringbean since Anne was able to get a special season back home before going back to Amphibia where we only got three episodes in season 3.

for non-Titan Luz to win against Calamity Anne she would have to draw out her time limit. Otherwise Anne is stronger. Ive recently being thinking of Beast Boy vs Moon Girl for a more even match Plastic Man vs Jake the Dog

One Punch Anne!! Loved the video, but one thing that could turn the tides of Blue Eyes Anne vs Season 2 Luz, the blue eyes may be an indication of some kind of danger sense, considering the instances when it activates, and it was actually able to completely dodge the Veggie-Robo's stomp without looking at it, so maybe if Luz used a fire or ice attack, Anne could just get out of the way, thanks to Calamity powers. It looked like in the clip of Luz destroying that forest that her friends were able to dodge, so... Plus, at that point in Season 2, Anne had already blocked the Chickalisk's Petrification Beam and dodged Frobo's laser, so fire and ice should be no problem.
I'd argue a bit more on behalf of Luz. She'd still probably lose to Anne once she uses all the calamity stones but it's still fun. I do need to note that most of this hasn't been shown, it's just a theory and purely hypothetical. If she did gain all the powers and properties of a Titan, that would allow her to use countless different haxes and spells seen throughout the boiling isles since the Titan is the origin/source of all magic there, +remember the properties of Titan blood, even a drop of it can tear open rifts between dimensions, but the more impressive thing if you ask me are the time pools, it was explained that Titan blood was the thing that originally created the time pools which would allow Luz to time travel. So theoretically she could go back in time and beat Anne before she activates her calamity form. But that's all just purely hypothetical, in reality I can't imagine a scenario in which Luz is blood thirsty enough to kill Anne. XD
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 Titan's have natural access to going between realms. You can see that with how the Titan trapped the collector in the in-between realm. So no water mixing needed in that case.
Technically they'd both lose since Anne using every calamity stone would kill her after one attack (though Luz can just go invisible and so Anne won't be able to see/hit her with the suicide attack)
@@mysticalaces8623 that sinerio on Anne dying relied on her using up all of the gems power I to one attack. If that form is anything like her other ones but amped she could do the same things. I mean, they kind of are when it comes to their respective storylines as their character arcs go in opposite directions. You truly notice this the most when you try to swap the main characters around. Put Luz in Amphibia and Anne in The Boiling Isles and keep the storylines the same and you quickly start to see how they go in opposite directions. Just another thing that makes them sister shows :)
The secret spell is a suicide move. Luz's only chance of winning would be to dodge that blast (which she could reasonably do). Thing is I don't think Ann would ever have to resort to that.
Even in that form, that scenario relied on Anne using up all the gems power into a single attack and using up all of its power. If that form is anything like her other ones, she could do more than just a giant blast.

And Anne is more mobile with her flight. In Marcy's journal, Anne said that time moves slow for her. 2. Durability Magic from the owl house comes from the bile sacs in their hearts as a power source. It doesn't really translate to durablity, or strength. Anne's calamity forms and attacks weaponizes the gem's power as a source. Meaning Anne's durability must scale to to her dc. 3. Abilities I know both have the same tricks like flight, amplifying their attacks, fighting at range etc. I would believe titan Luz is much more versatile with her abilities. But Anne has also a lot of versatility and are abilities Luz just doesn't have. Like creating constructs of whatever she wants, flooding energy into stuff, coating her energy with her weapons to increase their speed, strength and durability, or into her fists to increase her punches or make shockwaves around herself, telekinesis/energy shield (can call her sword, and sent Sasha and marcy back to earth after creating a forcefield around them). Shooting lightning like projectiles, slowing her perception of time, after image creation, or even slicing something up just by touching it (like she did to that avacado). And with Anne's superior speed, she could apply any of these options or counter a lot of Luz's. Anne also can craft/summon her constructs easily while Luz has to create circles to even allow her powers to work. Both Anne's constructs and shockwaves create a greater aoe in a shorter amount of time. Luz could possibly kill Anne with the petrfication power if given an opportunity. Tho the never used it in battle. Even then Anne could just as easily flood Luz with energy or electricity. And since those attacks are pure energy with no physical composition, Luz can't petrify them. Luz may be able to amplify her strength with the glyphs but she is not a physical fighter and is not as trained in combat as Anne is. 4. Experience Through their months on the boiling isles, both Anne and Luz are fairly evenly experienced and resourceful fighters that could not surprise the other with what they have seen before. But despite Luz's IQ and tactics and Anne's resourcfulness and manuverability more or less matched each other, Anne has used her calamiy powers more than Luz ever did with her titan form. Anne on the other hand can use her calamity powers anywhere she wants, even if she was separated from the gems in another dimension. So even if this fight took place in entirely neutral territory, the victor would not change, Anne's powers would still work while Luz's glyphs would not. So this fight has to be in the demon realm. One of the wincons I see is Anne taking and destroying stringbean via speed blitz or telekinesis (palismen can be destroyed, that was proven by flapjack). Destroying string bean would not stop Luz's titan magic, but it would stop Luz from amplifying her attacks and AOE quickly. and one anne takes care of stringbean anne has a few more options than just speed blitzing luz, she could just as easily flood her energy into luz, slice her to pieces or just trap her within an energy shield and send her away. Luz could win in some scenarios with IQ and versatility. But I think Anne wins the majority with strength, speed, durability, hacks, combat experience, AOE, range and weapons.
I’d reckon that such a duel would be mainly dependent on if Anne gets access to all three Calamity Gems or just the Blue gem alone. Primarily because while it’s supposed to be a 1v1 match up, Anne only ever reached her full Calamity power when she was also with Sasha & Marcy after they freshly got their powers + the whole “Synergy Buff” between the three gems being in proximity to each other. Sure there’s Anne’s “White Calamity Form” when she did use all three Gems by herself, but then lies the risk of it turning into a draw if successfully used against Titan Luz (provided Luz isn’t fast enough via Stringbean to evade or cannot tank the blast via Titan Glyph Shields) cause using that much power would just kill Anne anyway. So again, this match up is highly dependent of if she has all the Calamity Gems from the very start.
that sinerio relied on using up all of the gem's power in one attack. if her three stone form is anything like her other ones but amped. do anything she wants to luz
at first Anne would win due to Muay thai skills and her general fitness (I mean before Amphibia/Boiling isles gals) also I think Anne would be able to hear/sense luz with invisibility
I think that, despite que ultra level up of Luz's Titan Form... Anne still getting the win. Let me explain: Both of them are good in different areas. Luz has the variety advantage and a more strategic-like mindset, while Anne has destructive power and is more skilled in hand to hand combat. While one has to die to come back with a super form, the other one can invoke it with a deadly time limit. Opposites. However, here comes the the power level thing: Anne has a MEGA energy supply, which can destroy a planet and even open a portal (with just ONE of the stones, BTW), not mentioning that her strength, speed and durability are way too superior. The Boiling Islands glifts are ok, but they're just elemental powers. Illusions, flora, mud, fire, ice... Nothing that Anne can't actually handle, just slowing her down for a little. Luz in Titan Form could try to use time travel with her blood, but that takes some prep time that Anne can use to beat her. The only spell I think could kill Boonchuy is the Petrification one. I mean, yeah, it's deadly, but I think it could only be useful against normal and Super Anne. Even if it could beat Calamity Anne, it is a canon fact that the Guardian want her to die of old age, so for him it wouldn't be problem bring Anne back to life, meanwhile Titan Luz has a time limit too, letting Anne the chance to finish her.

One of the difficulty factors of this possible Death Battle is the "external factors". Both Anne and Luz has beings that assist them in being able to gain the powers and forms plus their is internal fandom debatable parts for one of them. For Anne the series began with her heart gem Calamity powers that is hidden inside her so that's hers 'internally'. However outside of her powered blue hair form the full "Calamity Warriors" form was granted either because she reabsorbed her full blue powers back inside her or it was as Marcy put it some sort of unity bonus. Now Marcy was guessing and using a video game format to explain the power boost though the reality could just of been that the gems color powers was put into them fully once more. If that's the case then that can count as internal powers of Anne. However if not and both Sasha and Marcy must be around to get that bonus then that is external factors. Anne's almost god power forbidden form requires the other two gems with her own to assess it (now they are extremal but Anne could get assess to them if written in the Death Battle story). Now in that form Anne is very powerful but it comes at a cost. That cost being her human body breaking down leading to death as the human body wasn't made or able to handle that power. Now we have one last possible "External factor" for Anne but I'll save that for later and go to Luz now.
Luz's magic glyphs and assess to it came from the Boiling isles/the Titan. The magic those glyphs use comes from the Titan's blood that barely remained when Luz entered. She tried a few spells but her main was mostly the Light, Ice, Plant, Fire, Hover, and Invisibility ones. This gives Luz a nice assortment of magic she can use and I'll consider this internal factor as it's her own in a way. There are two "External factors" for Luz are: String Bean and The Titan the conscience individuals beings. Now String Bean is Luz's Palisman so while a individual being it can count as being's Luz's and be part of the battle as well. For Luz's Titan form this is where it gets tricky as that was power the dying Titan gave her at the cost of the Titan going away to the afterlife (pulled down into the waters where if completely submerged not even the Titan can resurrect then), Luz having a limit time to have that form, and glyph magic being unusable afterwards (till King gets older and stronger). Luz meeting the Titan personally can only happen by death or sent to the realm in between This is a external factor more so then any other as the Titan was a individual character lending it's power to Luz directly to make that for and abilities possible. So if the Titan form thus the Titan itself can be counted for Luz this opens a door to another External factor possibly on Anne's end. The Guardian of the Multiverse. This being is what made the gems in the first place. It is a possible cosmic Multiverse level (or higher) God and Guardian of the Disney Multiverse This being's true form mentally can't be handled by mortals. This being wants Anne to replace it and all it's powers and other factors to her. Now with this External Factor" on Anne's end is where confusion really kicks in. It has been debated by fans (part for fun and part in seriousness) if The Guardian truly resurrected Anne or a clone/new being body & soul of "Anne Boonchuy". If it did truly resurrect Anne then on her side is an infinity lives vs Luz's one second chance from the Titan. Not even counting if Anne will becoming the Goddess of the Disney Multiverse (based on a forum post where Brady was asked it seems 'yes' is the answer but nothing truly 'canon' set in stone yet if ever). Because of the ambiguity factors of both "The Guardian" and "Anne Boonchuy" from the Amphibia series end it can be a debatable hassle if that External factor is apart of this Death Battle. Now the final idea in my mind I would like to post is a possible Death Battle Storyline for Anne and Luz to have a Death Battle. Influenced by Marvel's Incursion storylines in the comics and a "Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II" storyline about world's colliding. Many early Death Battles the two characters appeared and just begin clashing to the death. Recently a more scripted storyline per episode has begun in the episodes making reasons why two might clash and displaying the character's personalities a bit more. The idea I have is like those storylines from Marvel and Yu-Gi-Oh the three worlds (Earth, the planet that has the continent of Amphibia on it, and the Planet that has the Boiling Isles on it) was discovered to be at risk of colliding. The heroes of both Amphibia and Owl House worked together to find a solution to save the three worlds but in the end are only successful of keeping Earth out of danger but the other two planets approach the roche limit. Not seeing another way (at the time) for Luz and Anne the undesired & unthinkable yet only solution is at their doorstep: to save their beloved world they must destroy the other. To avert the trauma & crushing feelings of guilt from their own friends towards this dark evil task Luz and Anne take solo the full responsibility, weight, and consequences themselves putting them on a direct path to clash with a former ally/friend while the two worlds cracking watches from above. In a twist to how Death Battle starts it begins with the crisis set-up/explanation from an Earth and Owl House news reporter about the three worlds/multiverses being pulled towards each other, how the groups meet and became a team to save the worlds but only able to keep Earth out of harms way, and the last minutes it seems the two worlds have before the gravity of the two worlds shatters each other apart. Anne on her own with the gems she took from the music box unknown by the others is walking by herself on Amphibia and looking up at the approaching Planet to holds the Titan/Boiling Isles on it. Likewise Luz is alone and like a mirror flies over the Boiling Isles giving it a good look and then looking above to the planet that has Amphibia. Each is is not happy but they are also determined to see thou the last option they know of for their beloved world. Lastly in their hearts they knows she's going to see Luz/Anne once more but this time it won't be friends. Anne goes over what she knows generally about Luz from their adventure that resulted in the one success they had saving Earth but not the other two planets (begins the information phase of Death Battle for Luz told by Anne). Afterwards shifting over the viewers find Luz is doing the same thing for what she generally knows about Anne and her abilities. Once done with the evaluations towards each other the planets begin to rumble by the planets proximity indicating how close and lack of time the two have. The two ready themselves and fly off ready to meet once more in the middle proclaiming they are set and this will end once and for all. It's time for a DEATH BATTLE. Unknown to the two however is Marcy just got an idea (not a great one as it might require a grave sacrifice Marcy doesn't know she can give willingly) worked out with the two casts to be able save the two continents of Amphibia and the Boiling Isles but this unplanned deadly battle for just one planet taking the two casts by surprise might ruin it all... (I'm going to stop here but if anyone is actually interested to what Marcy's idea is and the conclusion in my mind is then I'll try to write some more at a later time. On a side note a Disney Multiverse Goddess Anne (whose then humanoid form (which I enjoy seeing the fanarts designs of) is also not then her true form) if she did become as such would for me personally be interesting to see how that learning phases of her Goddess phase be like. After learning and becoming the human embodiment of responsibility from her character growth in the series her move forward to the next phase of her learning how to care for a whole Disney multiverse (the Aquarium is her starting on a smaller scale of her creating, taking care of, and education others of the many creatures and their habits) with her trying her best, clashing with other cosmic powers, and making mistakes (though a Goddess making mistakes/trials can have consequences). Plus the crossover and lore potentials.)
The amphibia multiverse is infinite both said in the show and marcy's journal. And since there are plenty of cameos in amphibia inside the owl house and owl house inside amphibia, they should have the same cosmology.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943Toh shares comoslogy with GF with has 11Dimensuons however no TOH characters scale to it featwise. Cause they’ve never left their universe.
Personally I disagree The peak of luz’s glyph magic can peak at town level when making gliphs the size of the selkydomess in S2 E1, held said creature back, and kept up with hunter who dodged light based attacks Titan Luz should up scale from the collector who I believe to be star level to constellation level due to the collector moving constellation in his backstory and in general could react to collectors magic The reason titan Luz needed help was because her magic was nearly out and limited due to the fungus made by belos TLDR: I think Luz beats Anne sorry
when did luz even destroy a planet let alone a solar system i say shes moon level and belos could be scaled higher then her you use a pathetic statements the collector negs the verse except titan and atchives and if so you could put luz to multi galaxy bc of that stetements thats false
@@dragosandrei8505 Anne were would even be stronger because of Statements. The three stone guardian is the one who created the gems. He is a multiversal cat god who watches over the infinite multiverse. He even said the gems were unlimited power. If that being said. Three stone Anne should be in some ballpark of his power. Though like the collector's statements, there are outliers.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943I was talking about luz mostly since he said luz îs galaxy level💀💀💀💀 I scaled luz to moon level with relativivstic speed and anne to planetary with sol(speed of light)speed could be higher
I disagree While there are versions of this fight where Anne could take the win, I believe Luz would win the most often. Sure it’s no secret that, Anne is physically stronger even in her base but her base self didn’t really stand a chance against Luz and her magic glyphs not to mention Luz was a lot smarter. It is only when she went into her super form that everything started to go into her favor and her form could’ve held on against Luz’s Titan form. But the deciding factor would’ve been whose super form would last longer. The calamity form can definitely be on par with the Titan form, and in her secret spell form she can surpass it. But Anne’s super form at max only lasts about five minutes, and in her secret spell form even shorter, because she will eventually die once all her power is used up. Luz’s on the hand can last less than hour and had many ways to maneuver over Anne’s superior power such as teleportation and turning invisible stalling her out long enough for Anne’s power to run out.
Hey pal how's it been? I would say Luz wins in some circumstances but I think Anne wins the majority. Spoilers for both shows. Plus this post is very long you have been warned... 1.speed I would say in their base forms are around even in speed and stamina by performing feats or scaling to people who dodged lasers and light glyphs. With Anne given better leeway thanks to her strength, agility and manuverability. Although, Anne's calamiy form gives Anne a big speed boost while Luz's titan power doesn't. And Anne is more mobile with her flight. 2. Durability Magic from the owl house comes from the bile sacs in their hearts as a power source. It doesn't really translate to durablity, or strength. Anne's calamity forms and attacks weaponizes the gem's power as a source. Meaning Anne's durability must scale to to her dc. 3. Abilities I would believe titan Luz is much more versatile with her abilities. Anne may be able to amplify her strength with the glyphs but she is not a physical fighter and is not as trained in combat as Anne is. So Anne technically has more experience in super transformations like titan Luz. But iq, biq and experience alone would not end this fight seeing both have fought was older foes with much more experienced than them. 4. Location. One of the things fans gloss over that I find funny is the fact that glyphs don't work outside of the boiling isles. Magic has to be near titan blood to work otherwise they are pretty much worthless. Anywhere else Luz gets slammed. 5. Strength Both Anne and Luz have outliers that would put them much higher. Personally I don't think Luz could scale to the collector because their magic just cancels out their power. Eda, king and raine and kind fended off the same moss that weakened the collector. Anne also draws from the guardian, a multiversal cat god who watches over the infinite multiverse. He even said the three gems were unlimited power. But that moon feat is a pretty big outlier. Anne could die if she used all of the gem's power, but remember that sinerios relied on Anne using up all of the gem's power into one attack, if that form is anything like her other ones she could do the same stuff. I would say Luz is about continental (the titan's corpse was said to be the size of Vermont with dwarf star-galaxy level ap as an outlier. And 1 gem Anne in the finale is Planetary and three stone Anne is high universe possibly multiversal as outliers. 6. Opinion I would say Anne with win high diff. Luz could win in some sinerios with IQ and versatility. But I think Anne wins the majority with strength, speed, durability, hacks, combat experience, AOE, range and weapons.
Although, Anne did need help too, and she passed away from power, while luz could easily kill belos, though with help, and not die. Plus, luz has a deathray. I might be wrong, I’m a TOH fan, but let me know.
As you said, this is a one on one battle, so how exactly would she achieve that end of series form? She doesn't have sasha or marcy with her, so how does that make sense?
@@itxoind Actually, in watching and dreaming papa titan goes inside luz, it’s not help, imagine it like this: a zombie bites you, you aren’t half zombie, your just a zombie from now on.
I think luz and Anne would come to a tie if luzs magic lasted a little longer because luz only had a short time to do everything so she tried to do stuff as fast as she could
i mean Anne can only last a certain amount of time with one gem, and using the others kills her very quickly where she would only have time to use 1 attack so i feel that they're equal
@@mysticalaces8623Luz also has a time limit. That scenario with three stone Anne relied on Anne using up all of the gems powers into one attack. If that form is anything like her other ones, Anne could do a lot more.
Well either ways i think we can all agree The collector IS stronger than both and because of that i would also say Titan belos IS also stronger than both
my opinion is this: base luz season1-2(large building-multi city block level)>>>>>>>base anne season 1-2(small building-city block level) with stringbean-town level-small city level)> perfect calamity(multi contitnental) titan luz
If we’re talking abt fully taking over the titan then belos is more powerful then the core as that would make belos around the same size as the core moon, plus he could act as a meteor and destroy entire planets on collision and plus he could still very well survive and do this to other planets unlike the cores one and done sorta thing.
@@Green_Justice5389 that the inside of him im taling about the outside of him titans are immortal their only wekaness is the archives pulling him out from hte titan is his weakeness and titan belos is small planetry and titan luz is moon level luz ap is weak but her abilities are overpowered anne is planetary
That depends on if Luz knows Anne has a time limit. We do not know Anne's time limit at the end of the series. Even if is shorter Anne is more than fast enough to make up for it.
U didnt take their speed feats into account yes are pretty similar with both entering space in similar amounte of time it gives her a chance to dodge the 3 calamity gem spell
well that sinerio on anne dying relied on using all of the gem's power into one attack too destroy the core. if that form is anything like her other ones, she could do more than just a giant blast.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 I don't doubt that this is the case but with the way this form is portrayed I think we would have to see that to confirm it as true
Did anyone else get annoyed when watching the Owl House the characters had magic that acted as phones, social media, and the internet? I find it so annoying when writers want to put characters in a fantasy setting yet find an excuse to give them modern technology. It's like that selfie moment in Smurrs the Lost Village. It pushes my suspension of disbelief war too far. Add least with the Flintstones it was a running gag what they could use animals for.
*Luz and Anne gangsta till S1 Ghost Molly pulls up with no time limit.* (For context: in the ghost, and Molly McGee season finale, Molly becomes the embodiment of joy and basically one shots å character called the chairman.)
@@dragosandrei8505 But it’s a freaking ghost. I don’t think Luz can have any spells that can touch or harm a ghost. Or even Anne with her calamity powers.
Titan-Hybrid Luz definitely stomps 3 Gem Anne. Anne had enough power to destroy a moon, yes, but doing so cost her her life, whereas Luz had the power of the Titan, a god-tier being with power and magic on a dimensional scale.
Actually you should know, that sinerios required Anne to use up all of the gem's power into one attack. If that form is anything like her other ones, she could do a lot more. The gems were created by a multiversal cat god who watches over the infinite multiverse. He even said the three stones were unlimited power. Luz has never done anything on a dimensional scale. More on a continental scale.
I agree with this wholeheartedly Luz in her based form of glyphs would definitely be limited to the amount and when it comes to overall power scaling between Titan Luz and Calamity blue Anne the winner is still Anne woundn't even need the secret spell I can't imagine a spell that would hurt or do damage to Anne in her full Calamity
ehh, i think the final form battle would be a lot closer than you're giving it credit for. if this was just a 1v1, anne wouldn't be as strong as she was in the hardest thing. marcy hypothesised that when her, anne and sasha are all powered up together, they get a synergy boost of sorts, meaning if it were just anne, she wouldn't get that synergy boost, just the heart stone's full strength. i do think anne would still win but itd be close.
But remember Anne got a lot used to the gems power. So she could probably do the transformations if she had all three stones. Plus marcy also said she was more used to the gem's power than them. Titan Luz was outside help as well if so you know.
"Synergy Buff" Anne could probably take on Titan Luz on her own, sure, but the Synergy Buff only happened when the three girls came together, so this would imply Marcy and Sasha are somewhere and sitting this fight out? Yeah, that kind of tracks, I think; they'd probably be like, "You go, girl, you can take this chump," lol. Regular post-True Colors Anne though, before her Synergy Buff form, might be more evenly matched to Titan Luz. They're both on a time limit for one thing, and Luz has her defensive shield she could use when Anne gets close. Titan Luz can fly pretty fast, too, so I can see them pulling off an Aang vs Ozai moment where one is flying after the other. That'd be fun to see, actually! Could be a pretty funny homage if they did it right 😅
But remember Anne was more used to the gems than marcy and Sasha. Anne could likely use the gems if she had all three. Her being the main protagonist means she always keeps the box and the gems with her.
Ultimately Luz wins because even after the series was said and done, she still has string bean and the ability to learn King's glyph language. All magic was taken away from Ann.
I think their even because king is there and he is a titan so the titan form can happen anyway+don't you remember she can literally teleport on will to avoid attacks from ann
9:48 Belos wasn't negating the Collector's powers. The Collector just assumed he could bring Luz back to life
The collector was significantly weaker while being ‘infected’ I guess, so it probably did something to their powers
Titan magic (which is stated to counter archivist archivist magic) combined with the infection of Belos’ goo sounds like it’d do the trick.
in season 2 the collector move the moon easily and in the finale he was unable to hold a building
@@dragosandrei8505that was probably his physical strength, not the magic he used to move the moon because his magic was being negated by belos
I don't think Luz can beat Anne in their strongest forms.(especially if we talk about future Anne with the powers of that Cat Guardian)
But she is still probably wildly stronger than seen in the show.
I guess the question should be "Are those abilities capable of affecting Anne?"
And we definitely have no clear cut answer for that, they can work on a cosmic being like the Collector but that might be a bit too specific too scale to.
I love Amphibia, I really love the fact that the show didn't shoe in a love interest for Anne. It's always good to a see a female character whose love life is left ambiguous.
Sometimes it feels like writers are fixated on making sure all of the female characters in a story have a love interest.
Lumity felt pretty natural in the Owl House though, and Dana Terrace has gone on record saying the Owl House isn’t a romance story
@@zememerr2329 True, Lumity was quite a natural, but unfortunately it (alongside Hunter) took up screen time from other characters like Willow and Gus

One of the most requested DEATH BATTLEs right now because of it being in the Tournament of Champions. It has a high chance of happening in Season 11 because of the crew loving the match up.
I didn't even know it was in that tournament :0. That'd be sick if it happened later on though!
I have came from the future to tell that Anne VS Luz lost as tom the cat vs wily coyote ended up winning the most wanted death battle vote. :(
I think the show did a big disservice to Luz when comparing her power level since we never actually got to see the full potential of Luz and Stringbean.
Anne's energy constructs, shockwaves and speed counters a lot of each other's powers
The guardian could just revive Anne lol.
Plus, Anne using the power of all 3 calamity stones far outclassed Luz at her most powerful.
yee, luzes powers are plentifull but.. too specific
thus too limited!
Ah yes, the iconic invincibility glyph😂

The Owl House started out better than Amphibia, but as things progressed for both shows, Amphibia arguably became better.
Have to agree. Amphibia needs more support tho

Possibly! But the only time they’d fight is in a sparring session. They’d so team up against Klaus the magic Nazi.
XD
That is more hacks. And she has to mix it with water first. Anne won't give her time.

Yeah no, Luz’s infinite respawn point with the weird cube demension is kinda absurd.
Would be good to see these two clash
This is just the martial vs spellcaster debate all over again
I believe it would be a sparing duel.
I would like to see them as Yin and Yang: 2 opposite forces that balance and complete each other.
In that case it would be more of a draw scenario since they would both die (assuming luz with the titan's power isnt strong enough to counteract it)
@@mysticalaces8623 I don't think Luz is strong enough to counter react it. Anne would still win first though. I dont think Luz scales to the collector.

I would say Luz wins in some circumstances but I think Anne wins the majority.
Spoilers for both shows. Plus this post is very long you have been warned...
1.speed
I would say in their base forms are around even in speed and stamina by performing feats or scaling to people who dodged lasers and light glyphs. With Anne given better leeway thanks to her strength, agility and manuverability. Although, Anne's calamiy form gives Anne a big speed boost while Luz's titan power doesn't. And Anne is more mobile with her flight.
In Marcy's journal, Anne said that time moves slow for her.
2. Durability
Magic from the owl house comes from the bile sacs in their hearts as a power source. It doesn't really translate to durablity, or strength. Anne's calamity forms and attacks weaponizes the gem's power as a source. Meaning Anne's durability must scale to to her dc.
3. Abilities
I know both have the same tricks like flight, amplifying their attacks, fighting at range etc.
4. Experience
Through their months on the boiling isles, both Anne and Luz are fairly evenly experienced and resourceful fighters that could not surprise the other with what they have seen before. But despite Luz's IQ and tactics and Anne's resourcfulness and manuverability more or less matched each other, Anne has used her calamiy powers more than Luz ever did with her titan form.
Anywhere else Luz gets slammed.
5. Strength
Both Anne and Luz have outliers that would put them much higher.
I would say Luz is about continental (the titan's corpse was said to be the size of Vermont with dwarf star-galaxy level ap as an outlier. And 1 gem Anne in the finale is Planetary and three stone Anne is high universe possibly multiversal as outliers.
6. Opinion
I would say Anne with win high diff.
Actually Anne could use her full calamity power because all she needs is the two other gems and use them in tandem. Also titan Luz also outside help.
Sir VG: and yes... They can't beat Goku
Us: LOFAO
at first Anne would win due to Muay thai skills and her general fitness (I mean before Amphibia/Boiling isles gals) also I think Anne would be able to hear/sense luz with invisibility
I think Anne could counter her invisibility with the shockwaves she could spam at will.
I think that, despite que ultra level up of Luz's Titan Form... Anne still getting the win.
Let me explain:
Both of them are good in different areas. Even if it could beat Calamity Anne, it is a canon fact that the Guardian want her to die of old age, so for him it wouldn't be problem bring Anne back to life, meanwhile Titan Luz has a time limit too, letting Anne the chance to finish her.
this is my entire arguement for this fight. Tell me what you think.

Well the core said that she’s a god and Anne Sasha and Marcy can’t stop her because the core is god but Anne still stoped

Luz meeting the Titan personally can only happen by death or sent to the realm in between
This is a external factor more so then any other as the Titan was a individual character lending it's power to Luz directly to make that for and abilities possible.

The peak of luz’s glyph magic can peak at town level when making gliphs the size of the selkydomess in S2 E1, held said creature back, and kept up with hunter who dodged light based attacks
Titan Luz should up scale from the collector who I believe to be star level to constellation level due to the collector moving constellation in his backstory and in general could react to collectors magic
The reason titan Luz needed help was because her magic was nearly out and limited due to the fungus made by belos
TLDR: I think Luz beats Anne sorry
I disagreed with your opinion.
when did luz even destroy a planet let alone a solar system i say shes moon level and belos could be scaled higher then her
you use a pathetic statements the collector negs the verse except titan and atchives
and if so you could put luz to multi galaxy bc of that stetements thats false
@@dragosandrei8505 Anne were would even be stronger because of Statements. The three stone guardian is the one who created the gems. He is a multiversal cat god who watches over the infinite multiverse. He even said the gems were unlimited power. If that being said. Three stone Anne should be in some ballpark of his power. Though like the collector's statements, there are outliers.

This better be a Death Battle in the future!
“The magic beam could do some damage to Anne” BRO IF THAT HIT IT QOULD INCINERATE HER
Anne would still be to fast for that and any one of her attacks could do even more major damage to luz.
Hunter had to teleport to dodge the beam, and Luz should scale to Hunters speed feat as she kept up with him on a few occasions.
2. Durability
Magic from the owl house comes from the bile sacs in their hearts as a power source. It doesn't really translate to durablity, or strength. Anne's calamity forms and attacks weaponizes the gem's power as a source. Meaning Anne's durability must scale to to her dc.
3. Abilities
Anne may be able to amplify her strength with the glyphs but she is not a physical fighter and is not as trained in combat as Anne is.
Anywhere else Luz gets slammed.
5. Strength
Both Anne and Luz have outliers that would put them much higher.
6. Opinion
I would say Anne with win high diff.
Luz could win in some sinerios with IQ and versatility. But I think Anne wins the majority with strength, speed, durability, hacks, combat experience, AOE, range and weapons.
@@frogfishsuperzero7943 Definitely an interesting take, but like I said this fight could go either way it’s just a matter of what you believe

If they can't beat Goku, then they don't stand a chance against Kal-El.
Although, Anne did need help too, and she passed away from power, while luz could easily kill belos, though with help, and not die. Plus, luz has a deathray. I might be wrong, I’m a TOH fan, but let me know.

I think luz and Anne would come to a tie if luzs magic lasted a little longer because luz only had a short time to do everything so she tried to do stuff as fast as she could

That scenario with three stone Anne relied on Anne using up all of the gems powers into one attack. If that form is anything like her other ones, Anne could do a lot more.
Well either ways i think we can all agree The collector IS stronger than both and because of that i would also say Titan belos IS also stronger than both

If we’re talking abt fully taking over the titan then belos is more powerful then the core as that would make belos around the same size as the core moon, plus he could act as a meteor and destroy entire planets on collision and plus he could still very well survive and do this to other planets unlike the cores one and done sorta thing.
Would love to see Wendy from gravity falls vs Eda from Owl House

Did anyone else get annoyed when watching the Owl House the characters had magic that acted as phones, social media, and the internet?
I find it so annoying when writers want to put characters in a fantasy setting yet find an excuse to give them modern technology. It's like that selfie moment in Smurrs the Lost Village. It pushes my suspension of disbelief war too far.

But it’s a freaking ghost.
I don’t think Luz can have any spells that can touch or harm a ghost.
Or even Anne with her calamity powers.
Better question who wins calamity Anne titan Luz vs 3 dimensional bill cipher
@@frogfishsuperzero7943very true.
That’s assuming she even had all of the Titan’s power given that he was likely weakened by Belos’ infection.
Honestly both of them seem to be on a somewhat equal power scale so they really could just end up beating eachother
with the scaling, you could make an argument for either one to win. i think anne wins the majority.
I hope that death battle makes a video about this
"Synergy Buff" Anne could probably take on Titan Luz on her own, sure, but the Synergy Buff only happened when the three girls came together, so this would imply Marcy and Sasha are somewhere and sitting this fight out?
Can't Luz still not Luz magic?
Doesn’t Anne become a deity after her death
