Did not know that making apple crisp in the slow cooker actually excised. That is awesome
This was simple and delicious! My hubby and almost 3 year old loved it! Thank you!
This looks so nice for a company dinner. All home-made, but easy and relaxing to serve. A bit of vanilla ice cream on top would be extra nice.
Didn’t realize this video is 8 yrs old! Was in a bind for breakfast tomorrow for the family until payday ... but have apples, and think I will give this a go for the morning!! 👍🏻
Great job April just relax and take a breath. You got this! Love the recipe BTW. I like how you try to make it approachable but still look good and delicious while still being healthy.

How did it go?
I'm gonna try this. I'm going through my mom's old recipes who passed away. I'll try this for the crockpot. I know you are going to think this is crazy, but there is this similar recipe that she says here in her book to use an iron skillet, lol. I think I will try your way with the crockpot.
There is only me and my husband. so I am going to try this recipe using two apples and Splenda and thick sugar free pancake syrup. Sounds just what we wanted to do with some apples we have. Thanks
Great recipes and April very pretty.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the votes, love to read your comments!
I'm looking for very healthy food, nice!
that looks soooo good.
And so does the apple crisp!
I used ground up bran flakes (not too small). It worked great. I.ll buy oats on my next trip.
What a great idea! Plus, I cannot deal with oats.
I’m going to make this recipe for thanksgiving (but I’m going to use vegan butter & double the recipe) I’ll let ya know how it turns out! Thanks for sharing!
How did it turn out?
thank u
What about for breakfast?
have u ever used canned pie filling in the crisp instead of the natural apples?
This video was uploaded 6 years ago.....how did you do being a finalist in your crockpot cooking championship ???
BTW......great recipe.......can’t wait to try!!❤️🇨🇦🍒
I just tried this and it was wonderful, thank you for sharing! Do you have any other slow cooker recipes?
Timing is different with different sized crock pots, how big is this one? 7 Quart? 5 Quart? It's hard to tell.
This past Thanksgiving I made a cockpot apple crumble. I had to use a cockpot because a piece of my oven was missing. So I was able to make a crockpot apple crumble!!! YAY!! Haha I marinated the chopped apples in apple cider, apple butter, various spices like all spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. I love how you just tho everything in the crockpot to let it cook instead of having to wait and what not. Everything is just so easy with the crockpot!!!
can we use this recipe with pears as well?
Can I use almond flour?
Hello please tell me where is the crisp?! Is it really there l am afraid not?
trying it...dried out by 2 hours had to add water, hopefully it turns out well
Same here. I'm real glad I checked it.
You say, "3/4 cup of oats." Written recipe says, "1 cup oats." Thanks for posting! Will definitely try!
Me and my kids are looking for a new mamma to replace our old one
Dildo Shwaggins LMAO!
Hey April
Thank you for sharing this
Quick question: can I use cake mix instead of flour?
yes
The top part that is supposed to be crispy definitely is not crispy. You can tell by looking at it. It’s just a heavy, tough and chewy mess. Slide that thing into the oven under the broiler.
Existed. Sorry about the spelling
Beware! Way too much nutmeg!! 1/4 teaspoon will do!
I am cooking this and now waiting two hours. Taking it to Wednesday night church. I will update with comments from the par takers.
Gary pastortechman Thomas no updates im guessing this recipe killed everyone gary feed and she is now serving life
