    You are such an inspiration! I have made your chicken and mushroom crepes on my channel, in a vegan way, and of course, I have mentioned you because you are the absolute queen of chic and simple food and I love you for that! 🥰

    I made this with a friend yesterday and we both loved it! The closest thing to toffee bits I could find was caramel chocolate chips but luckily they worked really well and didn't overpower the crumble at all. Thank you Beth, I will be making this next time I have a date haha.

    Beth, sorry to read you were I’ll! Hope you are on the mend. We made this yesterday along with a hearty soup for dinner, and it is delicious! I bought a pre packed bag of Galas which was a little short of the weight so I added two Granny Smiths. Btw instead of water I added apple juice with about 1T of apple cider vinegar. It didn’t stand out but I hope it added a little complexity.

    Please take care of yourself until you made a full recovery, dear Beth. Your recipe sounds delicious (as always). The Heath Toffee Bits, are they sweet oder salty? I think, I have to search for a substitute, I have never seen toffee bits in a baking isle here in germany. Perhaps I can cut some soft toffees in small pieces.

    Hi Beth, this looks great, thank you. Do you have any recipe that combines sweet potato and maple syrup? I used to always have a sweet potato / maple casserole for Thanksgiving but since moving to London as a student I always miss that this time of year. Hope you are feeling much better soon. x

But yes I can imagine you miss your sweet potatoes this time of year! 😮 I don’t have an exact recipe with maple syrup just the classic sweet potato and marshmallow topping in this video. Get well soon and take careee♥️ How can I adjust the recipe if I don't have a skillet and want to use a baking dish

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh sure you don't need a cast-iron skillet so long as you have some kind of skillet to get the apples, butter and brown sugar started, simmering on the cooktop first. You could even use a sauce pot. Then transfer to a baking dish and proceed as directed :) Hope you enjoy! :)

  • @carojm11

    If i were to do this with apricot, should i reduce the cooking time? (besides changing the spices a bit)

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! you probably will only need to go 20-25 mins, and I would omit the spices and use 1 tsp of almond extract, that would be delicious too!

    “You can use cinnamon but Because I’m American, I love my pumpkin pie spice”...so if you choose to use cinnamon, that makes you not an American? I’m sure not all Americans are fans of pumpkin pie spice. Nice video, but your language is problematic.

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha! Oh it’s more of an inside joke with my international subscribers that always ask me “Beth why do all you Americans always use pumpkin pie spice?! We can’t get it in our countries”
