same here. I am seriously in dire need. Wondering if Rachel would come to our place ? we only have the two lil ole folks (us) to cook for. Hey and I was just praying for a personal chef hahaha you're recipes are amazing.
I'm an old school Winchell's donut baker, and apple fritters were one of my favorites, both to make and to eat. They were done with a yeast dough, needed proofing. A lot more work, time and waiting. Never thought anything could even compare, but this batter based recipe is most excellent! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!
It's a damn good idea for me to finally get myself to the store and remember that you have done all the hard work so the very least I can do is make these for me in honor of YOU 😘, 🙏!!!!
@@CarinRichardson27 The process is completely different for traditional yeast dough fritters. We started with 'end dough', left overs from the plain dough that is refrigerated and used the next day. We'd chop that into roughly 1/2 - 3/4" pieces with a dough cutter, cut in a chunky apple filling and cinnamon, form into fritters and let raise until doubled. Fry them up and glaze while still warm. The raising and frying part is trickier than the batter method, as we used large 3'x3' grid screens that were lowered into the fryer. Frankly, my home kitchen is not equipped with the glories and wonders of a commercial kitchen, so Miss Rachel's super easy method is absolutely perfect for my needs. (Blueberries make awesome fritters, too.) Don't even get me started on jelly donuts, which are also very do-able at home. Lol
My friend and I made these wonderful apple fritters this morning…OMG they are so delicious 😋 We got 12 out of that batch and we wanted to share with the neighbors 😊but here it is in the afternoon and neither one of us has taken them any😂 maybe the next batch…Thank you
Wow, I agree. I like Apple fritters too and didn’t realize they were so easy. I have gone to bakeries and some of their fritters hardly have any apples in them but Rachel’s have plenty. Love her way of demonstrating the recipe’s she makes and have several of them.
I love her and her recipes! I also appreciate how she gets on with the video without out making them long and drawn out with all the talkie, talkie and waisted time fluff in between. I will not watch other videos that take 45 minutes to make a 15 minute item. Thank you Rachel!♥
Rachel, you are a gift yourself. I love to watch & listen to your videos because you explain everything you do & why you use the ingredients that you use. Also, your recipes are yummy. I fixed your meatloaf last night & it was a big hit. Tonite I'm thinkin' those apple fritters will hit the spot. Will you tell us a little about your background & where you grew up, etc...it will help me to relate better. Don't stop sharing your recipes/methods-- they are terrific!
I too wanted to know her background, most importantly who taught her to cook? Did she go to school or learn from her mom? I only learned to cook from my aunt & good thing she was willing to teach me because I knew nothing. Now I make homemade bread, cakes, entrees (can't seem to master pastries & Asian cuisine, though). My aunt taught like Rachel, giving a simple explanation as to why she did things. I'm gonna watch every one of these videos & test myself starting with this pastry.
Hi Rachel, I’m going to make theses apple fritters,i wanted this recipe thank you very much sweet lady, you are an amazing cook. bless you and your Ron.

I will do this in the fall. I made the best fritters when I was 16. I'm 62 now and have tried without success. My mother had a cookbook that made them this way. I've tried other recipes but this looks just like what I made all those years ago. Thanks so much for making these. So the trick it to cook apples before. I couldn't remember why they were so good so long ago. I'm really sad that i had to wait so long. People out there...guard your mothers cookbooks. Don't let them be thrown away if something happens to your mother!!!
Yes my friend, I think cooking them first is good otherwise they will be raw when biting into your fritters because fritters cook so fast. I hope you try them. Thank you do much for sharing about your mom, I agree with what you said. ❤️
Oh Ms Rachel, You have done it again. I’m 1,000% honest when I say Apple Fritters are my all time favorite pastry! Growing up with my grandparents, every Saturday Grandma would make pie’s, cinnamon rolls, hot rolls, but never knew how to make fritters. Now, thanks to you, I can make my own. And no more hurrying to the grocery store bakery early on Saturday mornings to get them before they’re all gone! Lol God Bless You & Yours, Sandy B. 🙏💞
I made these a couple weeks ago & they were perfect!! Easy for an eager but not super experienced baker to whip together!! Thank you for sharing this!!
These apple fritters look absolutely delicious!! All I need with one is a steaming hot cup of coffee !! You’re cooking videos are so relaxing, and I love how you use simple ingredients! You’re a beautiful lady!❤️

So easy to make, even an old retired Jarhead can do it. A delicious, inexpensive treat, with easy to follow instructions from a Master. Even if you're not into delicious apples, the way it makes your house smell is worth the effort and expense. Thanks Rachel!
Oh my gosh Rachael! I just made these following you directions to a "T" and they came out perfect just like yours. My batch made 6 because I may have made them a bit bigger than yours. They look delicious. Apple fritters are awesome to eat. I like this recipe; I believe I can make them. Rachel, you have done yourself proud with these.
I just bought a big bag of Honey Crisp apples at the Orchard a few days ago, along with a larger bag of Cortland apples. The Cortlands are for pies and applesauce. I've never eaten a Honey Crisp apple and after I got home I wondered why I bought them. Now I know why! I'll make Rachel's Apple Fritters, of course! They look delicious!
OH YUM!! My mouth is watering just watching you do the taste test! Now I'm going to have to make these. Just a quick comment 'tia' Rachel... I have been making a couple of your recipes and the other day I made your Beef Enchiladas and I caught my self doing the ' mmmm' after the first bite and it made me grin big time because it reminded me of you after you do a taste test. Apple fritters are my favorite apple treat! This is the best video recipe I’ve seen. It makes so much sense to cook the apples first. I can’t wait to make these. 😊
I am a novice cook. I tried this recipe on this cold March day using canned sliced apples with cinnamon ( I wanted to use this can up). It turned out very tasty and worked very well with the canned apples. Great recipe thank you.
Love your videos. your voice is soothing and the videos are easy to watch follow and along with. Been binge watching all your videos tonight! So happy to have found you about 2 weeks ago. I love how you explain everything so easy. I have tried some of your recipes and they have turned out perfect. I will never buy can enchilada sauce again. I share with my family every time I find something I think they can try. I will try these Apple fritters next cause I know my husband will just live them. Thank you Rachel. God bless you.
Rachel is enjoying this fritter. I saw this yesterday, so at 5:22 AM I just now finished peeling 4 apples to make fritters for breakfast. Thank you Rachel, hope my fritters turn out as well as yours.

I just made apple fritters for the first time! Used your recipe! They are WONDERFUL! Not difficult but the cooke has to pay attention, like ALL receipes! One of the ads before your video is for the Cuisinart Preferred Pan. Yes, I bought it and it's a great addition to my kitchen equipment. I love trying your recipes and have pans similar to yours to use However, my cast iron fry pans are definitely not as beautiful as yours.... You're still THE BEST! Love those aprons! Thank 'My Ron' for helping you get videos made and posted!
I just ate two of these after seeing the video yesterday and making them today. Oh. My. God. Scale of 1 to ten...a hundred isn't even enough. No words can describe how good these are

I just watched this again, the 3d one tonight and yours is the BEST ONE. EASY, FAST with no crazy music or endless talking about nothing to do with fritters. Love you and your recipes! I made this and it’s delicious!!! Perfection! One thing I found is to be sure to spread the dough out so it’s not thick or it won’t cook in the center. You understand flavor Rachel, and how to get it. That’s rare! Yay! I’m so glad I found you!
Thanks Rachel! We have a tropical version of this in the Philippines called Maruya, made with sweet Plantain bananas. Same method except we just drizzle with granulated sugar before serving. Hope you can try it too!

This looks amazing. I have wondered if it was something I could do but never tried. Your explanation is great about cooking down the apples to soften them first. Your step by step was great and I am now subscribed. Thank You!!
Oh, Miss Rachel!!! You are really spoiling us with these super easy and super delicious recipes!!! I will FOR SURE try this one. In fact, I like to make homemade treats as a “thank you” for my next-door neighbor who always mows my front yard for me when he cuts his own, and this recipe will be perfect! I am so blessed to have such wonderful people like you and my neighbors in my life! Thank you so much, and may God bless you and Mr. Ron richly! 😇♥️ Enjoy your weekend!

@@rachelcookswithlove Thank YOU so much for posting your wonderful dishes!! You are an Amazing cook and you need your own cooking show for real!!
I wish you all the best in life!! 🤗♥️🙏
As soon as honeycrisp apples hit the stores, I was a fan. It's all I eat now.

🎉they last well.
'mmmmm' I've only been following you for a short time and I am soooo super glad I have found you. Love, hugs and Blessings to you and your (our) Ron! 🥰
Lol!!! Sweet comment my friend, I bet your enchiladas were delicious. Thank you so much for your comment, blessings to you too. ❤️

Those look mouth-watering!
Thank you so much my friend. ❤️
Apple fritters are my favorite apple treat! This is the best video recipe I’ve seen. It makes so much sense to cook the apples first. I can’t wait to make these. 😊

I have so many apples on my tree this is the perfect recipe for me.
I am a novice cook. I tried this recipe on this cold March day using canned sliced apples with cinnamon ( I wanted to use this can up). It turned out very tasty and worked very well with the canned apples. Great recipe thank you.
Oh no you didn't Rachel!! Apple fritters are my favorite donut ❤

No words can describe how good these are
Going to try this soon! You make everything look so delicious, especially when "taste testing!" Thank you for sharing your recipes!
You're welcome my friend, thank you so much for your comment. ❤️
These are my husbands favorite! I was looking for a good recipe just to see if I can make these for him and here you are! This looks so easy to make! Gracias hermosas por esta receta fácil! Thank you for sharing Ms. Rachel! You never disappoint girl! Absolutely scrumptious! God bless! Hugs! 💕💕💖💖💖💕💕💕💖💕💖💖💕💕💕💕💕

When Rachel gives you the eye roll, you know it's delicious. LOL
Truth!!! Thank you my friend. ❤️ 😘😀
I'm trying not to drool! Those fritters look SO Good!
I just watched this again, the 3d one tonight and yours is the BEST ONE. EASY, FAST with no crazy music or endless talking about nothing to do with fritters. Cooking the apples first is the secret to making your perfect fritters. Its been years since i made them for my boys( now grown and my deceased husband who loved them. Thank you " hermana" for all you teach us. Much love to you ❤
Awwww Rachel, you’re KILLIN me! My mouth is watering and I have got to go buy some apples tomorrow so I can try these! Thanks for all the great recipes and I also love your comments. 👩🍳💓🤤😋🍩
Enjoy every bite my friend, I hope you love them.❤️
The apple fritters look delicious, I plan to try those soon. I've made 2 batches of your cinnamon rolls this week, my family and friends loved them. Thank you for sharing. May God bless you and your family.❤️
Thank you so much for your blessings, same to you my friend. Enjoy every bite.❤️
Looks delicious! Apple fritters are my fave!! Guess what I'm making this weekend 🤤
Yayyyy!!! Enjoy my friend, thank you so much. ❤️
I saved this recipe three times. Better get to work on this soon. Rachel is the best!
Ron, you are a very lucky man! Apple Fritters are one of a few desserts that I eat!
Rachel, your apple fritters look so delicious!! Oh my goodness, I'm gonna try making them this Thanksgiving!! 😋💞
Love you and your recipes! I made this and it’s delicious!!! Perfection! One thing I found is to be sure to spread the dough out so it’s not thick or it won’t cook in the center. You understand flavor Rachel, and how to get it. That’s rare! Yay! I’m so glad I found you!
Sweet comment, thank you. ❤️
Looks so yummy!!! Can't wait to make them!!
Enjoy my friend, thank you so much. ❤️
Rachel thank you for a simple apple fritter recipe I can follow and make some great apple fritters. Looking forward to trying this recipe. Yummy🤗
Looks delicious! Didn't realize that they're relatively easy to make at home.
Thanks Rachel! We have a tropical version of this in the Philippines called Maruya, made with sweet Plantain bananas. Same method except we just drizzle with granulated sugar before serving. Hope you can try it too!
Yummy!!! I do make banana Fritters too, they aren't plantains but I bet yours are super delicious my friend. I have a dear friend who is from the Philippines and I love her delicious recipes. I will look into it, thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
@Geraldine Borromeo thank you so much for sharing! That sounds amazing! I’ll have to try that when my husband and I have a cheat day on our diet hehe 😉 God bless
Oh my gosh I am dying over here! Those look sooooo good 🤤🤤
Ha Ha pass us some through the screen. Looks delicious
Theyvare!!! Thank you for your comment my friend. ❤️
Yum! I see you posted this 3 hours ago. I can almost smell the goodness girl! I would love to see your recipe for blueberry biscuits if you have one please. You are my favorite TH-cam cook.
I don't have one for blueberry biscuits, but I have one for blueberry, pineapple mini pies and they are heavenly!! I putvthe link for them and the crust below in the description box, I hope you try them. Thank you for your comment. ❤️
So professionally presented! Thank you!
Man, these look delicious. They were so beautiful in the end.
Wow, how timely! I was planning to make apple fritters. I think your recipe will be better than the one I found. Will be giving your recipe a try. Thanks. By the way, I made your Mexican rice. Delicious. Was making rice again, and my son asked if I was making your recipe. He really enjoyed it. So I did.
So happy you enjoyed the rice!! Thank you for letting me know, I hope you enjoy your fritters my friend. ❤
