Yea Man!! How do people forget this GREAT music. And this was when music was GREAT. I am 62 and I can remember listening to this on AM radio.... AWESOME....
Haken, Leprous, Sheer Mag, The Sword, Masters of Reality, Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, Living Colour, 24/7 Spyz, King's X, Galactic Cowboys, Big Wreck...... plenty of great rock bands nowadays
@@maximilliancunningham6091 Heck yes they are awesome and i been loving them since the early days :) we partied back in the 1970s :) class 1978 Yuma High School :)
Ah, memories of high school. BTO Not Fragile in the old Craig 8-track player cranking the tunes after school. Over 40 years and this song still sounds great!!
As of today the 76 that disliked this must not have been around when this HIT came out and we couldn't get enough of BTO!!! Shame on anyone to dislike Randy singing.
I grew up on this as a 12-13 year old. Love the old BTO stuff! Hard to visualize Randy without a Stratocastor, but good the to see him and CF are still doing their thing
Es war das erste Lied, dass mein Freund 1975 auf seinem neuen Kassettenrekorder aufgenommen hatte. Es war damals super, und ist es bis heute geblieben.
Wow...that DOES bring back memories! Thanks They were, still are & always will be GREAT! Damn what memories. WOW That ending though A ' 74 classic that sounds better live than on the radio !
One of my all-time favorite songs by one of my all-time favorite bands and one of my all-time favorite Rock & Roll stars, Randy Bachman. I always wanted to be the guy in the song, and then I met my girl. I knew she was the right one for me when she looked at me with big brown eyes and said "You ain't seen nothing yet". Thanks for posting :^)
Saw and met BTO when they opened for Van Halens 5150 Tour with new frontman Sammy Hagar back in 1986. Great concert and Randy Bachman is a straight up clean guy. No alcohol or drugs. He calls it sin. Great time with the band and their roadies.
Bachman --- Turner Overdrive ( the 1970's line---up or band mates or band members ) are: The legendary Randy Bachman---lead guitar, lead vocals and he is the one singing lead in this film footage the gifted Fred Turner---lead vocals and he is playing bass guitar in this video the incredible Robby " Rob " Bachman---drums and percussion and the amazing Blair Thornton---rhythm guitar and lead guitar
@@jayjay5729 This was filmed 38 years after he was in the charts with the song. The music is excellent and for his age then at nearly 70 yr old I think he done bloody great!! 👌
It was 1975 and I was in Charleston WV going to a Vocational School. The coliseum was a tour center for bands and my friends lived up North and we would go to concerts in Morgantown at the university but Big bands like Bachman Turner came to Charleston, the capital of WV. Anyway the band was playing there and I invited my friends to come down and stay in my apartment overnight after the concert and we had so much fun. Smoking joints and passing them around, rockin and rollin, flirting with the girls. Yes 1976 was a very different time in our nation and bands like Bachman Turner, Edgar Winter and his brother Johnny, the Temptations and list goes on were so essential to how we interpreted life. I moved to MS a few decades later and realized the blues was the heart and soul of rock n roll.
This band was the best music on the radio when I grew up ~ hell YEA, this song and Takin' Care of Business, get it on! Best music in the world was when I grew up ~ the radio was actually fun, and raised us on great music. Ain't nothin' like the Les Paul sustain sounds recorded from those two tunes from BTO, in particular. Well, if you are a guitar player, you know exactly what I mean.........
Listening to this today, and every day. 1st May 2024
68 years young
Yea Man!! How do people forget this GREAT music. And this was when music was GREAT. I am 62 and I can remember listening to this on AM radio.... AWESOME....
24 year old dude here, been listening to this song very frequently for quite a while now
The fact his voice still sounds this good is mad
They kept their heads and didn’t get caught up in drugs and debachary(sp) and here they are
Honestly wasn't expecting this to sound very good. They killed it. Love this song!
the scary reality is that there is no one coming up through the ranks anywhere near as good as Randy Bachman and Fred Turner
Robert Long
TH-cam won't let me reply to Edward Anthony because THEY are incompetent.
Here's my comment:
They are not just great, but the greatest!
These guys rock
Says who and based on what?
Music has been garbage since the late 90s
Haken, Leprous, Sheer Mag, The Sword, Masters of Reality, Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, Living Colour, 24/7 Spyz, King's X, Galactic Cowboys, Big Wreck...... plenty of great rock bands nowadays
Fred Turner is one of the best bass players in Rock N Roll, bar none! His voice is perfect for the music they play.👍💪✌️😎
A ' 74 classic that sounds better live than on the radio !

My 50s 60s 70s 80s and mid 90s. What happened to talent and real music? The garbage today!
That's cause these guys are true musicians who rely on their skills and talents and not shock value and auto-tune. They are fantastic.
The year I graduated from high school! Great music!
Amazing song. Loved it from the day it was released. Still love it to this day.
What a fantastic band.. they are great live ... most bands aren’t .. but these guy are

I videoed him in the UK. He played with Rob Davis (MUD) & Ray Stiles (MUD & The Hollies), Rob Played Lead, Dave Stark was on Drums
My feelings exactly
Straight up class...I'll take them over the Stones anytime and anyplace
Not many drummers can play funky classic rock shuffles like this.... and he's off to Elysian Fields now.... RIP
Agreed, that piece takes finesse.
