Thank you for filming this-it saved me from frustration and made everything clear. The fix took just 90 minutes and worked perfectly. I really appreciate your effort. 👍
Yo Thank you for the comment and you are welcome. That was my first video. I’ve learned a lot since then. I’m so glad you were able to find this helpful. 👍🏼 Peace! Patrick
I just picked one of these cars up and rolled down the back window and...”clunk”. It fell down into the door. Same piece broke on mine. Thank you for the info on the replacement slides!!!!
Thanks Alan, happy to help. If you haven’t ordered the part yet, get twoI The window on the other side of my car went a few days ago and I should get the part tomorrow. (I should have ordered two)
Thanks Chris, and you are welcome, I’m glad you were able to glean some info from this and had a bit of a chuckle, it is my first video. And like I tell my students, ‘if we ain’t having fun, we’re doing it wrong.’
Just wanted to drop you a big thank you for this video. It was spot on. We followed it step by step and were able to fix the issue with no problem. Made us laugh while we were doing it too! Thanks again!
@christinaknight - You are very welcome. Mine was broke for a while too. The other window broke about two years later. So there’s that. Cheers! Patrick
Thank you for the comment. This was my first video, looking back I would have done things a bit different, but I am glad that you were able to glean enough information to help.
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. That was my first video,. Probably would have done things a bit different now. Being a frugal guy I like to save money whenever I can. It was TH-cam videos that saved me cash and inspired me to put my own video out. If you are into small foundry work, casting or lampworking, check out our other videos. Thanks again.
Hey Alan, the part is the’ rear window regulator slider. At 10:20 in the video you can see the part and where I got it from. I couldn’t find the OEM plastic one, but I figured why put in something I know will fail. Saw the aluminum two piece, perfect. Thanks for asking and for watching! Peace
