Hey everyone! 💕Which kind of credit card do you have? Which one do you like more? Rewards or cash back? And why? 💕Show some love and comment down below for the TH-cam Algorithm! 😘
Cool video! Just wanted to make sure, so you redeemed your welcome bonus (premium economy flight) and then top it up with points to upgrade to a biz class , right ?
Hello, lovely video! I am flying Singapore airlines from CA to Bali. Do you think it's better to go through LA or SF or does it matter? Thanks for any feedback on this.
Thank you. Depends on where you're flying from, whichever is nearer for you. If they are both far for you, then whichever is cheaper? LA is nearer for me and I love shopping at Tokyo Narita Airport. You can also choose the direct flight to Singapore.
Hi Eumi, Great video, just one question, doesn't cancelling credit cards method you described can have a negative effect on credit score because of the overall credit utilization?
It depends. If you close a card with the longest history then that will impact your credit score negatively. Newer cards will have lesser impact but also many other factors involved. Such as your credit limit on the new cards, and yes credit utilization, etc. When I cancel any newer cards for churning, my credit score drops a little but then it goes back up after a few months. And if you have excellent credit, the drop won’t hurt you since it’s still in the excellent range.
Hi Eumi, thanks for this video I learned something new. So you mentioned canceling a credit card before they renew. Do you have to redeemed the entire points first before canceling or they can transfer to your new credit card? I think assuming you have to get both from the same company.
Sherryl, You're welcome! Yes. You can transfer them out to another card from the same credit card company or transfer them to your airline/hotel membership (usually expires in 3 years if you transfer to an airline but check with your airlines). You can also contact your credit card company to check if they hold your points in your account even after cancelling the card, some cards do offer that but only for a year.
Hi Eumi, thanks for sharing. I'm considering to take SQ12 with my dog. I'm wondering if I can stay on the plane during the 1hr layover at NRT airport. Thanks a lot.
You're welcome Shuyu. You can't stay onboard since the plane is different, not the exact same one even though model number is the same. Gotta disembark, walk around narita, buy some Japanese snacks/goodies and before you know it, time to board.
Hi Eumi, thanks for making this video. 🙂 Is it possible for you to shoot a video where you share your experience and the process of relocating to the US as a Singaporean? Would love to learn more about this haha

Interested to see what Credit Card strategy you had/have in SG to accumulate all these miles!
No specific strategy except credit card churning and putting everything on the card to rake up points.

@@MoneywithEumi ah I see, Thanks alot for clarifying!
Nothing like stereotypical racism in a vlog. (Non alcoholic white person)
I took it tongue in cheek. Now, if she did a video on how to take your friends money at blackjack, that could be construed as racist

Credit Card churning FTW!
There are no rules to airport drinking 😂 I’m Mexican and always have a cocktail before I leave… even at 8 am .
Solo una vida 🥂

One day I'll try
definitely worth trying once!
Did you have to leave and reboard a different aircraft again while arriving in Japan or did you stay on the flight to your Singapore destination?
Yes you can leave! I spent a good amount of time at the duty free shops though some luxury stores were closed due to covid
