He used to play football ffs, I doubt you could find a pro lineman that isn't bigger and fatter now, he'd be too small today, and all of them are in incredible health other than injuries, the issues come when they stop exercising at that weight, or if they abuse drugs, both kill you regardless of your weight. Skinny isn't magic you morons.
To really get the full effect you need to see the whole SCTV show. Promos like this are funny all on their own but there was always an arc about the goings on at the station. This is like watching Family Guy but only the cutaways.

My wife and I had so much fun watching SCTV when we were college students. We’d cuddle up to watch SNL, and SCTV came on right after. Sometimes she’d be really tired and start passing out, but she always made me promise to wake her up for the McKenzie Brothers😄Good times!
And he didn’t skip a beat. He is a legend. I laughed so hard with my brother watching his movies when we were kids. The great outdoors, uncle buck….planes,trains, and automobiles was funny too, but once I got older, it became my favourite.

OMG, I can't believe I'm just seeing this for the first time. Lived in Stowe, VT in the early 70s and spent summer vacays at PEI with the family in our Shasta camper. I caught a lobster that came too close to shore by pushing it ashore with a piece of driftwood and mom made chowder out of it. Yep, pretty sure there were local taters in it.

I worked in PEI in the late 80's, near the ferry there was a roadside serve yourself potatoe stand.... leave cash in a box , make your own change and take your potatoes .
Magnum PEI was my favorite show growing up. The thing about Magnum, other than his prowess with the pretty young ladies, was his keen sense of right and wrong and his work ethic which included Shoot Now and ask questions later. Of course, after a rough day of being a Detective, Magnum spent his evenings Pillaging and Deflowering the Young Ladies in the neighborhood. What a guy !

Watched SCTV as a teen back in the1980s and this is hilarious. Loved their ribbing of Canadian culture and John Candy was always funny.
