Currently, Lyft requires a 2008 or newer vehicle in my state. I'm wondering when those requirements will change. I'm driving a 2010 Accord. I don't want to have to buy a newer car just to drive for Lyft, seems counter productive unless I drive a lot.

My last week pay for Uber was 1000 but I wasn’t grinding like I usually do . I think the best tip I got was 100 bucks . Some weeks I go to dc or Connecticut. I live in philly. I make a lot in tips because I use my T-Mobile hotspot as WiFi and I also got a tablet with Netflix Hulu Disney plus ect for the long rides. I just do Uber

Great question! i really think that you should rent when first starting. Later, after you get the hang of things, you may want to upgrade your vehicle. At this point I would say you may want to finance something of your own.

I'm in Boston. Lyft removed the MDX from the Black list,, but you should still be able to drive LUX

You can form an LLC but if it's only you not really worth it. If you become a partner with multiple cars and drivers then it makes sense

Tom here... Nick love the videos love the topics. Keep up the tips an advice. I’m just a lyft driver out of Philadelphia. I’ve been driving for just over 2 years an recently upgraded to lyft xl. Best decision I’ve made as a full time lyft driver. Last week I did $525 with 22hrs online. I was book half the time an I had 27 rides. It was an okay week. Didn’t get to drive as much as I wanted but that’s all I could do that week. Love the videos love content keep it up

I start in menifee I am an hour from la and an hour from San Diego and an hour from Orange County so I’ll end up in any of those cities and then turn my filter on to work my way home

Look man I like what you’re doing. Trying to educate people but in all honesty if you’re working 53 hours a week and only making 805, then that’s insane. I do Lyft economy and I worked 34 hours last week and made 942 dollars. I would recommend on the slower days, driving with Lyft economy to make some more money. You want to maximize your earnings while you’re online. Just a thought. Have a great day man.

While I wait, I’m busy working my exit strategy, making and editing videos, reading and education myself, etc. I guess I should mention that more often
That makes sense then. I guess it just depends what your priority is. I’m assuming ride share is temporary for you so it would make sense you working on other things to get you further along in life ahead of schedule.
Daniel Van Matre yeah, so between Uber and Lyft I do anywhere from $1500-$2000 a week for 50-60 hours. And in that same time frame I am able to work on my business

Drove with LYFT for ten days and had this recurring issue. In Atlanta, Ga if your vehicle is older than 2014 the app will log you off when dropping passengers off at the terminals because the vehicle does qualify for airport pickups. Well. when a on a three ride streak this will break my streak. it happened four times in four days as I go to the airport regularly. After a lengthy chat session with a different rep every time in which I had to explain the entire situation over and over I had three support reps acknowledge it is an issue on Lyft's end and credit me the money. The fourth rep basically said I should stay away from the airport since I do not qualify. Hello, what am I supposed to do with my rider that is going to the airport? I am finished with LYFT since it is barely worth my time with the bonus and certainly not worth my time without the bonuses. After gas I averaged around 12 dollars an hour in my ten days and 156 rides. Not getting rich here folks. I see why LYFT is begging for drivers.
