This is the first US tutorial I've been able to follow from beginning to end and understood and followed to get a perfect flower. Most American tutorials they talk too much rather than showing and go too fast, yours was brilliant thank you

I don’t agree with your statement about generalizing other American tutorials but I do think this was the perfect speed for starters/beginners

Of all the instructions I have tried over the years to fashion a crocheted flower, THIS is the easiest, best explained, low-stress, tutorial ever. Perfect camera placement. Love your calm voice. A million thank you's.

Thank you so much. The pattern was very easy to follow. I made this a few days ago as a birthday gift for a friend's 74th birthday. As I was taking other stuff to her party this made a very nice 'token' gift in red yarn. I've just made one for myself as well, a burgundy colour with a shiny black and gold button added in the centre. I plan to make a few for friends as well.

My mother had to go to the ER today, and I made this in white for her. This was very easy to follow, using both the written instructions and the video as a guide. My second layer somehow came out with 6 perfect petals instead of 5, but it looked fantastic. I really appreciate the work you put in for this pattern! Thank you! :)

I'm brand new to crocheting and I'm trying to make flowers for my daughter's bridal shower. Your video was actually easy to follow. I forgot to slip stitch some of the petals to tack them down, but that's OK. Thank you for taking the time to do this!

found this pattern and am really grateful. Was looking for a small crochet flower for 2 flower girl dresses and made this with a size 9 steel crochet hook and doily thread. Needed to be 1.5 " wide and it is pretty much right on size. Thank you for your post and for being so easy to follow the directions. (have to admit I did stop and back up and re-watch several times, but it worked beautifully! You are really talented!!

Yaaay! I did it!!🤗 Had a problem on the 2nd petal of the 2nd round - just couldnt seem to see where to stick the hook after chaining 3 & pulling up a loop for the start of the 2nd petal - but after 6/7 tries finally "saw" it. Once you get the "hang" of this pattern its not too bas so maybe I can now consider myself an intermediate crocheter??😎 But probably its just because of your clear&precise excellent video instructions!👏👏

Your s fantastic teacher. The patience you have with your calm voice tone is perfect. Thank u for sharing. I like to watch and write everything down then make the project. But when you hit row 5, the writing stopped and I just watched. Row 5 is impossible to write out and have anyone understand. Thank goodness for a YT video. When u say going taking the hook around the back and over the front dc, you're actually making a FP (front post) maneuver. I wasn't sure why u didn't call it that. The flower is beautiful. I'm going to try it one day when I'm rested and not stressed, which isn't this night....eek! And I'm going to try a little something different with the last row of petals to see if I can make it a little easier. Not sure it will work but will definitely let you know, so it can be shared in a future video. I also want the back petals to stick out just a bit more, so I'm going to enlarge them just a little and see if that works as well. If what I have in mind does, I will share with u and let you pass it along to the world in a new video. Blessings to u, L :)

I had to start over because I ended up with too many stitches on the 2nd round for some odd reason! 😊 I must admit, I am what I call an " adventurous beginner in crochet! I don't know much BUT once I see a project that I want to make, irregardless of the skill level, with a good demo, I'll conquer and achieve my goal! I AM SO GLAD I DIDN'T GIVE UP!!!.. LOL THAAAAANK YOU❣ I used the Red Heart Unforgettable with 5.5 hook, the finish results are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I can't wait to make more flowers to compliment my different crochet hats❣
