    Very nice review!
    And the police dude was really nice. He seemed like an enthusiast himself!

    9:37 Yeah, that 805mm is the solution for short people. I will be very angry if it's an additional accessory and not an optional one as against the 825mm standard seat.

    Good to see an experienced rider who considers the seat height as a real thing, most experienced riders say that the seat height isn't really a big deal when you know how to drive a tall motorcycle but I beg to differ in that, having your foot on the ground or at least a half of it does give you that confidence of balance and that can never be overgrown by knowing how to ride a taller motorcycle. Will be head over heels in love with this bike if the rally edition seat setup is somewhat close to the 805 mm seat height.

    • @JustAnAtheist
      @JustAnAtheist ปีที่แล้ว +6

      "the seat height isn't really a big deal when you know how to drive a tall motorcycle" - This is a lie mostly told by biased bike reviewers who maintain "good relationship" with bike makers for vested interests.

      Couldn’t agree more. I’m 5 11, have good experience in riding if not great, but I would never want to try 845 mm seat. Will see for 825 or else definitely 805 mm. You won’t be riding your bike always with riding boots that have extra heels. The goal is to get comfortable and have confidence in the bike with minimum footwear

      I do agree with you and your perspective but in India traffic and short people are a real thing. Having a tall seat height is great for off road and touring. Here we do not have the roads to enjoy a long cruise especially on a daily basis. It's a lot of crawling in traffic and a very different driving/riding pattern than other countries.

    • @__________________v___00000
      @__________________v___00000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @raj_2001 I agree with you as well. Motorcycles are a bit like clothes when it comes to size. Those of us on the outside of average, whether tall or small, suffer to find a good fit. City riding on a too small bike is also quite difficult. Shifter and brake are at the wrong angle and our knees interfere with steering and the tank.

    For some people in the comments saying "some bikes should only be for tall people". This doesn't benefit the manufacturer from a profit standpoint as most people are simply not tall most are average or shorter. The average man worldwide average is only 5' 7' the average women is only 5' 2''when you factor in the entire world population . If we take those figures into consideration that means only 5% of the male population is 6ft or taller less then 1% for women. It benefits Motorcycle manufacturers to sell as many bikes as they can in as many markets as they can. Tall people deserve to have bikes that fit them too but understand you are the minority in regards to the overall market.

    • @AashayGupta
      @AashayGupta 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just from a maths standpoint, I think this needs to be seen from the perspective of not the entire world population average, but the target market average, i.e. off-road enthusiasts. While I do do feel that having it shorter would allow for a larger chunk of people being comfortable with at least trying to off-road.
      Being a really short guy myself, I only ever learnt how to ride an avenger, and I would love to move to some other bike but the height factor worries me thus limiting my experiences to cruisers, maybe soneday being able to upgrade only to meteor.

    I am 5ft2inch , and I feel till 5ft5inch inseams are mostly same for all people.
    Hence will face similar problems with the 825 seat height on uneven terrain and that bike weight. On flat terrain its all ok.
    Next is the thighs, the fatter or muscular they are, it will reduce inseam, though will have strength to lug around the weight at crawl speed. Slender thighs like yours will have an advantage and bulk thighs like mine......
    805mm optional seat seems like the right kind of deal.

My question is here comparing to adventure only less than 10km/hr it's speed is Top , second weight is more comparatively, third headlight never turn full now also, fourth ₹60000 more for base model, and fifth every rider says telescopic shocks are more comfortable to off-road, yes only one advantage is it has 40Nm Torque but due to weight it may be 36Nm. Not a fan of new Himalayan Design, I wish if Enfield kept it little bit more sharper or boxier like the original Himalayan, The front round light makes it squished and disproportionate. Looks very dated actually. Confused overall design language and I am sure RE will try to work on the next version soon.

    • @LordKarma101
      @LordKarma101 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with you. They should have maintained and kept the Himalayan fuel tank boxier design as it is so iconic and should make it a Himalayan standard-design just like the iconic LR Defender legendary boxy design. Now every car manufacturer wants to copy it.....unfortunately LR made a mistake by making their new Defender rounder but i bet you they will go back to their basic original boxy design soon. Anyway RE is known for its iconic classic design and it works....no need to join the bandwagon and copy other bike manufacturer as RE is already known for its own unique design.

      Battery drain is an issue for sure, but re have placed a USB charger so connect the charger keep the phone in your pocket or tank bag and enjoy ride, a Fully bright screen with a phone mount will actually consume more battery, this is more efficient and safe + there is no need use it all the time

      @@mysteriousmystic3350 That is exactly why it defies the purpose. The whole idea of wireless screen cast and mirroring is to get rid of wires. If we need to still keep the phones connected using a wire somehow the the plug and play cast would have worked better using simultaneous charging. In mobility The use case of wireless screen cast only works for cars. I have seen the charging in pocket or bag with wires attached to bike scenarios on trails. The day you fall which you are bound to on trails the wire poses a serious threat of bruising you or if you are lucky tearing your bag or jacket. The ideal setup as I said would be to have a 7-8 inch enclosure on the tank with a lid to keep your phone secure and then route a wire to the dash internally that charges the phone and casts on screen simultaneously.

      The bike offers you 2 options -825mm and 845mm both of which I found tall. The 805 seat was more ideal but that’s an optional one which has to be bought separately
