You are absolutely correct. Many good ones got separated quickly, positions filled with “yes sir soy boys” it was the beginning of what we have now. Case in point, this person and Ft. Bragg, now Liberty etc…. A disgrace. I can’t imagine having to look this person in the eye and salute him. Saluting is a privilege 🤣 remember that!

I could not in good conscience take the oath to protect and defend our Constitution and serve under the Biden Administration that is trying to destroy it.

The government changed the names of military bases named after Confederate people after the George Floyd protests as a gesture to appease everyone. It was all about political correctness.

The real sad thing is that, if you replaced all the generals with senior non-commissioned officers, the military would run much more smoothly. With the exception of pilots, operators, and a small handful of others, most officers are politicians-in-training.
Senior NCOs can be just as bad. Officers don't have a monopoly on gutlessness.

When I was in Korea the first time (89-90) in the Division Cavalry Squadron (5/17 CAV) we had an alert one night. All of the officers and Senior NCO's were down at Camp Casey for some event. With E6's as the senior NCO's on compound we were ready to roll quicker and better than when the top brass was there. My platoon sergeant laughed about that with me for months, I was an E5 and his TC. He was very proud of the ability of the Platoon to go forward without the senior leadership.

This Officer is not the exception. He is the rule. This was the obvious direction of the military to even junior enlisted in the mid 1980's.

We lost many highly qualified and motivated Officers and Noncommissioned Personnel during the 1980s, 1990s and subsequently due to this kind of nonsense.
Why aren't these Higher up Military Officials NOT BEING Held responsible to answer these questions and if they do not, to the satisfaction of Congress, have some kind of consequences like maybe being Demoted, Pay dock, even time in jail? Everyone who goes in front of Congress under the "Hostile Witness" title KNOWS to Filibuster their answers. Talk Word salad or just do not answer because VERY VERY VERY VERY rarely does ANYONE get contempt of court. Maybe if EVERYONE who doesn't answer gets contempt of court, fined and maybe jail, would think ATLEAST ONCE if not TWICE about Pulling this crap on Congress.

I served in the USAF, 86-91. I was 100% setup on a drug charge. 10k later, I had to agree, with my
Attorney and multiple witnesses, to have my name cleared, back pay included.

As a veteran of 50+ years ago it will always be Fort Bragg. It turns my stomach to even hear it much less call it Fort Liberty. There was a time when you heard that Fort Bragg soldiers were being put on alert or activated that somewhere in the world shit was about to hit the fan. No other base had that recognition and the woke liberals in Congress and even generals like this one destroyed that recognition and fear that name brought.
