if its repeating the update process again and again that means your ps3 needs a new hard drive because its now stuck on that screen. My friend did the same mistake, and now its f_cked
@@streety24 A week later, Evilnat comes out with a new 4.91 update lol. Sony will eventually stop updating the PS3, and only ones still giving it updates will be the jailbreaking community to keep this console alive.
The PS3 usually got new updates every six months for the past few years with 4.82 to 4.89. Updates 4.80 and 4.81 were a year apart, but so are updates 4.90 and 4.91.

The newest update is just updating the blu ray keys. Unless you play Blu Ray movies on your console, it really doesn't matter.
