Lol but not my smart tv, when my tv does an update software installation the install took so long and its still stuck at 0% and i have no choice to unplug it, then it works but after that my tv speaker broke, it makes high pitch noises when im playing games or tv, then i reset my tv and its still doesnt work

When unplugging your PS4 or losing power isn't anything to worry about. It breaking from that is like 1/1000 at most. What you should worry about is unplugging or losing power during a system update
Could you get slight performance issues or slower loading times ive unplugged mine 8 times also i on ps5 i got bad paranoia
@@mrbirb-rp3lg Yes, Hiccups in the system can occur after something like this but they will clear up on their own or you can do a database rebuild in safe mode. I'm not completely sure about PS5 but that would be my best guess

Doing the AC power cord thing rarely has a result. It did break one of my games once tho. It corrupted the lighting and abused my eyes

I've had to do an emergency force power off with my own PS3 several times when something started hanging. It is very unlikely to do any real damage.

You get the exact same message when you have a power failure / all of sudden lose power in you're house.

My brother was playing my ps4 pro and then after he launched the game (Horizon zero dawn) he suddenly closed it to show me something from the homescreen. The game wasn't really at the loading screen yet. It was still at the background logo(guerrilla) of the game when he closed it. Is it safe to do such thing? Is it relevant to the warning that we shouldn't close the application while the loading icon appears?

something like that happened to my PS4 and what it did was one time it was like 1:00AM and my PS4 beeped like 8 times and did a whirring sound then I unplugged it. The next day when I was playing watch dogs it froze and I looked on Google what happened to the PS4 and the problem was the hard drive was broken. Sadly they did a system reformat but now it works better than ever

He bought a slim and gave me his fat model, that i fixed by installing a new HDD and reinstall the system, but from this point i would always make sure to properly powering off the system.

It happened to a friend of mine but it's a PS3 not PS4. What happened was unlike updating via internet which it downloads the software first to hard drive before installing, on disc it installs while reading update from disc then power outage happens which is normal and part of our lives here in the Philippines. After that when powering the PS3 it tries to re-install but error shows up. We tried safe mode it didn't work. I reformat the hard drive on a PC and when inserted back to the PS3 the screen shown an instruction just like you replace the hard drive with a new one and we followed the instruction but after installing the on screen instruction shows up again and we tried every options in safe mode but non works. I told a technician on what happened and he said the PS3 is bricked and he can't fix it.
