Yeah, that's the good bit. Hoping they can use this to expand the game's capabilities. As a game pass player who loves baseball, I will pay $60 for it, but idk how many normal or light baseball fans will purchase it.

I use to play the series on the ps2 and ps3 with 07 being the first game but stopped playing until MLB 17. then it was ported to the xbox series x and i bought 21, 22, 23, and soon 24 all preowned and less than $20 respectively. I would say the need to fix RTTS and franchise mode because MVP baseball 2005 is still king of baseball

MLB the Show 23 is the only one I bought the others I just played on Game Pass, so I probably won't play the next one. I play offline mode and don't buy any content, so I am not the target audience for modern sports video games.
Was it not MLB that forced Sony to put it on other platforms in the first place? If that is the case than I would imagine that Sony could care less if it does well on those other consoles.

As an Xbox user, I don’t use gampass anyways. I haven’t bought a new Show since 21, I’m fine paying for full price this year.

@@kgrass976 Can't speak for who you replied to. But I don't think the $70 version is worth it if, RTTS isn't improved the last few years its been lackluster. I played because it was on Gamepass. Also Civ 7 comes out in a couple week, im dropping $130 on that, plus Avowed (although thats on gamepass), and Monster Hunter. Those, plus new seasons of Diablo 4 and occasional Call of Duty, will keep me entertained likely until F1 comes out and then College Football and maybe Madden.

@ In this case yes. I don’t mind paying for a game. But when you’ve been underwhelmed before, I don’t want to spend the money. Now if it gets great reviews and RTTS is revamped, I’d give it a look.

I have both consoles and have been getting the show on game pass the last few years and the reason is simple. They haven’t done shit to improve the game at all. They don’t deserve my purchase. when they release that trailer on the fourth, if I don’t see a significant improvements no way in hell am I getting it at full price

As an Xbox owner who always had a playstation just to play mlb the show, I was so happy when it came to xbox and especially gamepass. I buy the game every year. 2 copies for me and my son. But the game has not been fun to play over the last 2 years. I'm sure I will buy it but I might just have to take a wait and see how the game plays and the update to the game modes this year.
Still running The Show on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S. Might as well have it on PS4 and XBox. Super disappointed by the screenshot reveal. The game looks the same.
Them removing it on game pass is a huge L. Last years game was terrible with the gameplay and it shows me the developers only want your wallet and not having people play the game
While I am bummed out about it not returning to gamepass. I'm gonna end up buying it. The main reason why is because I'm trying to grow my twitch channel and this is the main game that I stream. Soooo...... I hope it will be worth my purchase at the very least. Doing content reviews on a game that isn't fun to play makes it feel more like a job than it should
A content “review” wouldn’t require much more than a single long game session to know everything you need to know especially with a sports game. Even if it sucks you shouldn’t be forced to continue to “review” it.
@freedomthefreeman487 I also review in game content when it drops. New cards, are they good? Do they suck? Team builds as in captain teams. Who's good on the team? Who's not? What players have good swings. Who doesn't?

Maybe XBOX users should whine to Microsoft about doing something with High Heat Baseball finally. They bought the rights in 05 and have done nothing with it. Maybe do something with it and stop depending on Sony to get you your Baseball fix.
