7:43 I’m glad that you have dry skin. I’m not glad, but I have extremely dry skin & it’s nice to find a channel wear I can trust the products you show. I’m so tired of buying products that are too drying. I would rather try products from some one who has dry skin & closer to my age. What would you suggest for eye serum or moisturizer. I usually use what I use on my face.
I’m glad I’m not the only person who hates the scrubber! My scrubber was only $39 but I see the more expensive one doesn’t do any better. I had the same issue, it was hard to control and I would have to go over spots manually. It’s hard for me to reach into the tub and I have arthritis too but this didn’t really make cleaning any easier.
I really appreciate how honest you are about products. I totally agree with you about the snail mucin...it did nothing. And Nikki la Rose agrees with us. BTW, your hair look GREAT.
Thank you! I appreciate you telling me that! I think a few agree with me on that. I also think that it absolutely does work for some - just like any product - nothing works for everyone!
I feel so vindicated! I have dry skin and it does nothing for me at all. It's not very sticky or gross so I use it on my arms to use it up. The CosRx morning face wash however, my HG face wash. I use it 2x day and just love how gentle yet effective it is. iHerb often has it on sale.
It just sounds like a complicated route to humectant-based hydration. I use mixon (I think, lol ofc I call it my “Nixon bb cream” because I’m an old American and I think I’m funny) with snail mucin in it, but I assume it’s just for marketing. I love the product and luckily it has no tell-tale signs of high levels of mucin in it. I always WANT to like things with weird ingredients from odd but renewable sources, but… tbh the weirdest thing to me is vegan mucin. If it’s not actual snail goo, why make it goo at all???
I love Timeless vitamin c I also use the 20%. I stk up when they have sale and I keep it in fridge. I started using this product based on Angie HotandFlashy recommendation in 2017 and I absolutely love it. It's a great product. Merry Christmas. I love your honesty and videos.
@@MindfulMidlife Yay, looking forward to it. My hair has gotten so thin from aging and weight loss. I know you've dealt with breakage and thinning hair, so I welcome your recommendations in the upcoming video.
I totally agree with your dislike of CeraVe foaming oil cleanser, Mucin Snail Essence, and Vitamin C serum. I thought there must be something wrong with me because others were raving about them. I either saw no difference or detested the product - and I did try to like them. Thank you for restoring my common sense, as you always do. Love you and your videos. Hope you enjoy a blessed Christmas.
Happy to help Laurel!!!! I understand! Sometimes I wonder if I'm the odd one when everyone else loves something. I figure I can't be the only one so that's why I let you all know. We can stand united in our dislike of the popular! 😂
I do like my scrub cleaner only because I have terrible disfiguring arthritis in my hands that’s painful. I do have to give pressure behind it but not as much. I do not have the brand you reviewed though., I just got it on Amazon.
I heard somewhere to help extend the freshness of the timeless, vitamin C, put it in the refrigerator, which I do. It is an awesome product over time and has really lightened my age spots.
I’m just so impressed that there are people who remember to go to the fridge every day to get it & don’t mind the cold on winter mornings! lol I even shower at night in winter, I cannot handle being cold indoors when it’s 15F! 😂
I got the sleep and glow pillow a few weeks ago because of you! I love it so far. Thanks you for your recommendation! I think I will go ahead and get the silk pillowcase with your code.
I use the CeraVe Foaming Oil Cleanser in my hand soap dispensers. It is gentler on my hands than the typical hand soap, such as Meyers. I mix them so there’s still a little scent. I got the idea from Dr. Dray on youtube!
Hi Bobbie. I was hesitant to try the snail mucin. I read where if you have a dust allergy, which I do, you could be allergic to it.🤷♀️ Plus, I can live without it. There’s an ocean of products to choose from. Really liked those freezer containers. May try them out, and didn’t think about freezing rice. I always end up throwing some out. Thanks for your honesty, and Happy Holidays to you & your family ! 🎄⛄️🎄⛄️
My hands get so dry in the winter that I used that CeraVe at the sink to wash my hands. I never used it on my face. I really liked it for that purpose.
I make my own vitamin c serum and store it in a brown bottle with a dropper. It’s always fresh because I make it in small batches, works great and is much more affordable.

I love your Yahoo & Boos video. I agree with you on some of your boos. Thank you for being so honest. I loved the slippers but a little pricey for me. And don’t you think the Easy Blur at $37 an ounce is a little pricey. (Way too pricey for me) Loved the left over containers. Going to order some, so clever. Happy Holidays PS loved your 3 trees
I can see the mucin being helpful for you. Dry skin does absorb really well, unless it’s impaired, but it seems like lighter formulas are best for rehydrating; whereas oily skin is very resilient at keeping stuff OUT & needs a heavier product to hydrate thru the skins natural oils. If I put lanolin on my skin when it’s very dry, it just sits there, it’s too thick & heavy to be absorbed without a lot of working it in.
Your decor looks so beautiful Snail mucin I also expected magic or at least hydration but nothing, not even hydrating, mine wasn’t even that sticky. Souper cubes were on my wish list
My skin is sensitive - I don't like using anything that has even a hint of fragrance in it. The Vanicream Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30, and the Moisturizing Lotion are my favorites - all fragrance free products 🥰
Hi Bobbie-Would you consider doing a "Cook with me" video on making your bone broth ? I would love to try your version, but have not found a recipe that is budget-and -time-friendly!
An Instant Pot for bone broth is a lifesaver! Just keep a bag in your freezer with all your bones & scraps, roast in the oven if you want to make it ‘extra’, then straight into the IP. Really easy 👍🏻
@ A crockpot would work fine, as long as you are comfortable with it being on overnight or for a very long period of time. Depending on the amount you are wanting to make & how concentrated the flavors will be, you could also use something ranging from a Dutch oven to a large stock pot on the stove to achieve the same results. In these instances, I would highly recommend roasting the bones & scraps beforehand to add depth of flavor as well as some ACV (1-2 TBS) into the liquid to help draw out the mineral & collagen content since you won’t be using pressure.
I love your reviews and you are so much more believable … honest reviews for the aged woman who needs the truth. What is your favorite wrinkle cream .. an instant wrinkle fixer and a long term good for your skin wrinkle corrector?? I’m working through your videos. Ty

COSRX.. agree with you. I am finishing up the bottle I have had for a very long time. Did nothing, but I've tried close to ten vitamin C serums.. not one did a darned thing. - yeah even the 20% timeless. Just nothing :(
I also was so disappointed with the CereVe oil cleanser ! It is a failure in the fact that it completely dried out my skin ! How can this be good for dry skin ? So very strange they would make a product that dries the skin so much, I will not buy it again. Also I have never tried the snail mucin because it completely grosses me out to think of putting slimy stuff on my face !! Blaaaahhhhh ! Thank you for your honest reviews Bobbie ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think you used the word nourished about another product, and I think that's what the CosRX does for me. BTW, I know you stopped using Agency - I had to as well. My skin would peel exactly two days after use and I felt like a zombie. I went back to using tretinoin in a tube and had no issues. I almost think the Agency base cream or something else in their product is what was irritating my skin.
I don't mind the texture at all. I just didn't notice anything different. Clearly others love and and it works great! We are all so very different. Bummer about the Agency for you. It did work great for me for quite a while, but sadly my skin changed and it started irritating me. I have since started using a Retinol, but I haven't gotten back to using Tretinoin yet.
@@MindfulMidlife I really don't think my skin changed, I think they changed something in their base cream or something about a year and a half to two years ago because when I went back to just tretinoin in the tube, I had no issues.
I guess I'm the odd duck. I ordered the Omnia pillow quite some time ago. It is currently stored in my cedar chest. I just couldn't adjust to it. It is too stiff, and my ears hurt so badly after using it. I tried selling it on local swap sites and marketplace for half what I paid, but no one contacted me. Guess I'll try giving it away. Money wasted.
13:00 love the greenwashing + the company’s complete disregard for one of the most common health problems affecting participation in beauty. The fact that so many “woke” companies seem to want to discourage people with arthritis from using their products tells me soooo much.
You are right some of your boos I love. Snail mucin, cerave cleanser, and even eucerin serum. I have extremely dry skin and even eczema and they all seem to work good for me. prequel has a new hydrating serum that does not have hyaluronic acid in it that I love.
😂😂😂bombas are stalking me! For awhile, I would get their ads on every website & they’ve done a lot of sponsorships. No shade to them, I’m in marketing, you have to saturate the potential market quickly if you want to level up fast, they are a great example of how to spend a marketing budget wisely. Ad people often fib a bit - you just need customers to hear or see your name & brand concept so many times that it finally sticks, the ad quality being high doesn’t matter a whole lot imo
I have that scrubber mainly for cleaning my tub and shower with the long handle so I don't have to bend over. That is pretty much all I use it for so that alone makes it worth it to me.
I really thought I was the only one who didn't like the snail stuff so I got a SECOND bottle to make sure. Nope. It's just fine. Nothing special. I've been coveting that pillow for a couple of years but just can't justify that price.
I agree with you about snail mucin, thumbs down. Also dont agree with all the hype about castor oil, its sticky and yuck, not impressed. I love my prescription retin A😊

It is too stiff, and my ears hurt so badly after using it. I tried selling it on local swap sites and marketplace for half what I paid, but no one contacted me. Guess I'll try giving it away. Money wasted.
I am so sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you. 😔 We are all so different!
I thought I was the only one in the world that does not like the pillow. Mine is also stored in the closet. I may as well throw it away
@@sherry9568 I'm planning to donate it to the local Goodwill or Salvation Army. Darn expensive pillow to just throw away.
13:00 love the greenwashing + the company’s complete disregard for one of the most common health problems affecting participation in beauty. The fact that so many “woke” companies seem to want to discourage people with arthritis from using their products tells me soooo much.
Pillows do not cause wrinkles.
I think you’re right, it’s great for those tough to reach areas! I just have a hard time controlling it, but that could just be my own issues! 😀
I really thought I was the only one who didn't like the snail stuff so I got a SECOND bottle to make sure. Nope. It's just fine. Nothing special. I've been coveting that pillow for a couple of years but just can't justify that price.
Nope, you are not alone!
You’re only supposed to use the same pillow for 6-8 months…
Good Question!! This is taken directly from their website! "The product life is 5 years, after which it’s recommended to replace the pillow."
I’d say that’s for regular pillows not this kind. It would be way too expensive replace every six months.
I agree with you about snail mucin, thumbs down. Also dont agree with all the hype about castor oil, its sticky and yuck, not impressed. I love my prescription retin A😊
