Great honest content. How refreshing to watch someone encouraging viewers to “accept that it’s not my thing”! Truly, we don’t need to have FOMO at this age. Mindful purchases please ❤
My 94 year old grandmother had beautiful skin her entire life and all she used was Ponds cold cream and moisturizer so that is what I use. I'm 56 and get a lot of compliments on my skin. I use nothing else.

OMG, I loved this video! I'm 70 and am trying to simplify my beauty routine. I don't want a 7 step cleanser, toner, serum, etc routine. I don't have time for it. When I'm ready to take my make-up off, I don't want a lot of steps. I've had those, and after using it a few times, I just don't have time to use them all when I'm tired and ready for bed. Give me a product that is good for my skin, that has ingredients that will take care of most of my imperfections! Keep the video's coming! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I'm completely with you. I'll be 65 in a month and for me 2025 will be a no buy year except for mascara. So, I'm looking for a lot of how to use and love what you have and weed out what you don't love or what you can't count on being consistent. I'm also going to project pan but no "hate panning". If I don't like it it's going to get tossed. The project pan will be to focus on using up the older cream items.
Hi I’m 64 and doing no buy makeup and on skin products also. This is going to be hard as I’m a compulsive buyer on line. So my goal is to pay off my home this year, and that is my incentive. I’m tired of wasting money on stuff that eventually goes bad and then I have to throw out. So I’m focusing on using what I have. I kept track on how much I finished completely this last year and it came to 120 items. Bad part is I brought in 165. So all this is showing me I need to change.😳
As a fellow mature dry skinned woman I have discovered Vanicream from Target..face wash and moisturizer both unscented are the best I’ve tried in a very long time time..not expensive and work amazingly
For me, I don’t use a beauty blender or foundation brush. Clean fingers for foundation application. I also don’t use a bronzer. Always looks like mud on my face. I use two different shades of blush to accomplish dimension. I also don’t use a highlighter. You have a great video. Thanks!
I'm trying to do two shades of blush as well. Can you let me know what brand and colors you use? I'm very fair, so I may have to adjust for that. Thank you in advance.
One holiday set that I always think is the BEST deal and look for each year is Clinique lipsticks. During the holidays and usually also in the Springtime they have a set of 4 or 5 lipsticks for $25. The regular price for one Clinique lipstick is $25 so even if you don't wear all of them but can wear most of them, that brings really good lipstick down to less than drug store prices. This year Macy's had sets of 4 Clinique lipsticks on sale for $15. I can wear three out of the four just because one is a very bright red that I wouldn't normally grab. The other three are nudie pink shades that I love. So I figure they cost me $5 each and I love the formula.
Wow, thank you for sharing this! When do you start looking for these sales? Do you get emails from Macy's or are there other retailers that carry this offer?
I just want to thank you for commenting on some of these trends and techniques that just aren't applicable to everyone across the board. I think the beauty of makeup is that it allows all of us to find what works best for us as individuals, what makes us feel pretty irrespective of trends. I'll leave the white eyeliner, flashy highlighters and expensive skin cleaners for the young TikTok influencers.
I stopped using toner. It is always part of a regimen sold by these companies, and I just think it is to sell more product. I stopped buying it and see no difference.
@@lorismith5369 Really i know it’s little expensive but I really luv brown especially as I get older but i do use jones road or plum Thrive or an electric blue from YSL… please let me know how you like YSL Brown mascara❤️🐾
I use Abolene cream to take off my make-up. It's unscented, and it's been working fine for me for 45 years. I use raw Shea Butter for my moisturizer. At night I use Castor oil lightly around my eyes and on my eyebrows.
Micellar water, a cheap one, and Vanicream, which is hypoallergenic. I use the vanicream cleanser after the micellar water. Then use one of their moisturizers, or their moisturizer plus SPF on the face. They have a lighter and heavier options. Well under $15 for most of their products. Vaseline for lips and around the eyes at night.
Fantastic video! I love your honesty and making it real. I use both high end and drug store whatever works. And I’ve never fallen for makeup wipes, or subscription boxes. So many “influencers “ try to convince of things that “are going to change your life”. Oh please. I hope you keep it real. Thank you!
Korean skin care is inexpensive and full of good ingredients that are changing my skin. How to use and in which step you have to use a product, that’s a skill to learn.
As a woman in her 50s who started having problems with dry eyes and infections because of dry eye syndrome in perimenopause (a menopausal symptom) many years ago, I have seen several eye doctors who have advised me not to put eyeliner on the inner lids/ waterline or tightline with eyeliner. And yes, I have simplified my makeup over the years, too, haven't bought an eyeshadow palette or liquid lipstick in years, for sure.
This has been the most “let’s get real” video from a beauty influencer that I’ve ever seen. Less expensive makeup and skincare brands are killing it! There’s no reason to ever spend big on high end products unless there’s something special that’s on sale. I’m way older than you and still have hooded eyelids where even waterproof mascara smudges. Eyelid primer doesn’t help. I haven’t found any mascara that also keeps my lashes curled. I’m going to try to master putting on natural looking eyelash clusters so I don’t look like a droopy lashed raccoon at the end of a special day or night. I’ve given up on winged eyeliner because my lids are too hooded & crepey. I use a smudge proof eyeliner pencil to tightline and a dark powder eyeshadow just above my lashes. I totally agree with you about how highlighter and glowy foundations accentuate every flaw on older skin. For brush cleansing I’ve been using a cheap clarifying shampoo. I also agree that large eyeshadow palettes are a waste. What gets me is that so many now include red, orange, pink and yellow shades. Why would I want my eyes to look like I’ve got a bad cold or an eyelid rash? I disagree with you about tubed blush. I think it’s more hygienic and easier to dispense than other types but I do have powders & creams as well. Happy Holidays!
My eyelashes are hard to curl and I use a curler and then mascara CLIO - Lash kill and they stay curled :). Also Maybelline Sensational works pretty good as well. Any other mascara - I use a curler and by the time I am done with applying the second eye the first one has straight lashes already.
I’m going to be 63 and I love my magnetic hard white compact has what I want for eyeshadows which I get individual colors so no waste there also after 29 yrs. I have found YSL Brown mascara so no more raccoon eyes anymore don’t like black eyeliner but I do like having fun doing my eyes + pick what cream blushes I want & do a ombré of 2 cream blushes and I don’t put Concealer under my eyes but I add color under my eyes. I looked at my younger pictures when I was 6-8 yrs. of age & I had darkness under my eyes so I look healthier with color added under my eyes…why did I put concealer under my eyes 🫣because magazines told us to white out with concealer well that just makes more wrinkles in about 30 minutes if you laugh or squint your eyes so I really like just having my own wrinkles and texture don’t need more. I do have to have a great eyebrow pencil and pen 1. My Channel waterproof eyebrow pencil and urban decay pen in blonde it has a pencil on other end but I break it a lot. I clean my brushes after every time I use them… I believe that can cause more skin problems if you don’t keep them sanitized as best as you can. When I travel I have a brush holder to put in my makeup case and throw in my magnetic white hard compact with the colors I want to wear & throw in my YSL Brown mascara and a mascara eye curler That’s it. Oh for a cleansing Balm I luv Hamish Balm cleanser + 1-2 drops of peppermint in the balm because it cools my face at same time + Cure Gel Gentle Exfoliating at night from Amazon also. Loved your attitude about down sizing and making it more simplified + paying less. Thank You Julie
@ Seint has 2 different sizes white Hard Magnetic Compact so everything it magically In hard compact with a nice mirror I’m going to show them on my video once I load up tonight. Any ?. Just ask. ❤️🐾
You are my identical ‘likes/dislikes’ twin that I’ve never met, across the pond! Glad I’m not the only one who feels like that🥰Happy Christmas to you and your family. ❤🇬🇧
I can’t imagine why anyone would be disturbed by your choices about what you want to buy or not to buy. I too am over buying things that are ridiculously over priced. Like Beauty Blenders.
I realize we’ve never met in person, but I’m really agreeing with everything you’ve said!🥰i feel like I want to be more minimalistic, but it’s so hard. Thank you for the inspiration 💕
The secret to liquid liquid: shea butter. I use it on top of the lipstick instead of or under the glossy toppers. Soaks right in, keeps my lips comfortable all day. Because shea butter is such a close analog to natural skin oil, the lipstick doesn't budge or bleed. Try it -- I couldn't stand the feel of the liquid lipsticks till I accidentally discovered the shea butter trick.
I hear this about cleansing wipes all the time. However, when I drove semi over the road with my husband, cleansing wipes became a necessity since it’s not always convenient or safe to wash your face in a public restroom. I just used a clean wet cloth to rinse afterwards. I still use them on my lazy days & always rinse afterwards. No problems. Same with micellar water. I agree with you on everything else! And false eyelashes…forget about it! 😂 👀 Keeping it simple at 56! Merry Christmas Bobbie! 🎄
@@jean6460 You’re welcome. I get kinda tired of the fear mongering surrounding facial cleansing wipes. Not that Bobbie is fear mongering, but some people do. Been using them on/off for over a decade and my skin is fine.
The best makeup remover is by DHC, called deep cleansing oil. It is fantastic and I've used it for 20 years or more. Also, Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover gets rid of waterproof mascarra so easily. The DHC product is anazing and leaves my skin moist, but not greasy. I use a white, cheap cloth to wipe the makeup off and warm water....then done. I am 76 and i have pretty good skin still.
You can never get in trouble with me! I REALLY appreciate that you give your honest opinion and I agreed with you on almost everything. (The only thing is I really like flower bomb blush - I just put small dab on my brush or fingers and put it on - could be I found a shade of that brand that really looks good on me.) I like your practical approach and that you are not assuming we can spend $100s - $1000s on make-up and skin care products. I have taken your advice on many things but I have much fairer skin than yours. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and blessed 2025. 🎄
My skin care and cosmetics are gems from the drugstore - I've been using the same cleanser, moisturizer and SPF 30 sunscreen for years 🥰 My makeup brushes are from Eco Tools ... I wash them every week with the Dr. Bronner's Unscented castile soap. Enjoy the holiday season everyone 🎄
Two higher end products that I purchase regularly are the Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes and Clarins Lip Oil, but most is more affordable. My ultra sensitive dry, mature skin is still recovering from chemotherapy. The Olay Complete (fragrance free) lotion has been wonderful, I use it morning and night and I have been cleansing my face with my Dove Sensitive Skin Bar. This was a great video Bobbi, and I agree. I have been so frustrated with the changes that companies are making with their products, especially those products that are specifically for sensitive skin. There is no need for the extras. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I've used Dawn detergent to clean my makeup brushes for years with great success. I don't mind paying $ for something if it's really good. The Take the Day off Balm is worth it to me because it removes everything easily and a little goes along way. I save $ on my cleanser and moisturizer instead.
*Minimal Products* . I'm 57 and prefer a very natural look. Most of my products are drugstore. My splurge is Clinique Pink and Black Honey for lips. I purchase single pot eyeshadows from Ulta, my go-to's are Mushroom and Pin Up Girl. I use Wet-N-Wild Tinted hydrator for foundation, no concealer. I was never a highlighter gal but I do like the Almay Instant Glow in soft glow which is a pink shade that adds a bit of brightness. I apply it under blush, it works well as a soft shimmer for lids as too. Elf Putty blush in Caribbean and Essence Bronzer in Chocolate Sun-dae. I'm a tubing mascara fan; Essence Bye-Bye Panda Eye of Elf Lash Extdr. Physcians Formula Butter Pressed powder in translucent. I will use dark brown shadow for liner 3/4 of the under eye. A fine tip brow pencil is a must. Super simple routine on a budget.
Philosophy is my favorite! Removes makeup and cleans at the same time, but my major love is IT DOESN'T BURN MY EYES! Great to see you! Happy New Year!❤💋
I had to laugh when you talked about highlighter. I admire it on other women but when I put it on myself, I’m like you - thinking “why did I do that?”😅
I agree w/ a lot of these. I love eyeshadow palettes; I just like to have fun w/ colors. Thank you for being here for me ! Hi Mrs. Betty 👋❣️ We're going to have a blizzard on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day here in Alaska. ❄ Have a blessed Christmas, celebrating the birth of Our Lord. Thank God & stay happy every day. 💝🎄✝️
I'm with you on sometimes the basics are better. Over the years, I have reached the same conclusions. I enjoyed your video, and the comments. By the way, I think you would look amazing with a smokey eye done in soft, neutral browns.
Love your video! Sometimes the truth hurts people. I share many of your thoughts on these issues. It's refreshing to not hear that everything you try is great, and a you must rush out and blow your money on these products, that you don't need, and will never use. Thanks.😊
I won’t buy the Sephora best lipsticks gifts sets etc, but I do like the brand mini gift sets like the Merit mini flush balm blushes, or Rare Beauty mini blush trios. I like them because they are products that I want to try and I am being given the option to have small, mini sizes in several colors that I will actually be able to finish, as opposed to a full size.
Well done ❤ I think at our ages we need to trust in ourselves- if we are still looking for something it’s ok to try things - but otherwise we to streamline our routine so that we cover all the bases we need covered and put our best face forward every day.
Thank you Bobbie. This Canuck loves your videos. This morning for the first time I tried a Jones Road Beauty miracle balm. For my almost 67 year old skin it’s absolutely lovely. Merry Christmas to you and yours and all your subscribers. Merry Christmas everyone.
I love this, I’ve probably be the first to say that I love buying new makeup and skin care. But lately I’m starting to think before I buy! Tired of spending money on things that aren’t any better! Right now I’m debating on what foundation to buy, I’ve had tints and higher end foundations and lately I’m not that happy with them. Same with bronzer, I used to love to pile it on, I guess I need a reset 😉
I appreciate your honesty and straightforward comments and I agree with you completely. I also like to simplify my skincare and makeup routine as I deal with dry and aging skin. I really enjoy your videos - thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions.❤😊
I won't buy any makeup that I have to apply on a pallette or the back of my hand. I forget to wipe it off and it's ruined my clothes. I noticed a huge change in my skin in the past year, I'm mid sixties. I find that I used to love sitting down and taking time to apply many steps, now I find it tiresome. I want a simpler makeup routine. I have a huge makeup and fragrance collection and I've been in the process of whittling them down. I am going no buy for makeup and fragrance in 2025. Rediscovering what I have and using it up.
So happy this popped up in my feed. The best makeup video I've seen in years! I almost spit out my coffee when you brought up the Dawn soap for the makeup brushes! That's how I started cleaning brushes when I was young and that's how I've been doing it for the past few years. Excellent video from beginning to end.
Love the honesty n minimalistic attitude! I have wasted way too money at Sephora Ulta n others. I'm going to let a dermatologist manage my skin care. I do admit I luv Tarte eye shadows n foundation. I purchase when on sale only. I too have dry skin which looks like rosacea . Hence the reason for seeing a derm soon. The hype that cosmetic companies advertise is out of control,!
I understand what you are saying, and I agree with you on most of these products. However, the Original Pink Beauty Blender I purchased from Amazon (now $20, I think, much less when I purchased it) is worth it to me because I can get almost every last bit of makeup out of it when I wash it. My other beauty blenders hold onto some of my makeup no matter how much cleanser I use or how many times I rinse them. Very frustrating. Back in the 80s, I thought the only base for me was Chanel. I’d work overtime just to be able to keep buying it. I’m now almost 70 (March 28), and I look for inexpensive products that work. Thank you for your tips and reviews.
I don’t know if you’ve ever tried Japanese or Korean eyeshadows, but they often come in quads, usually with 3 matte shades and 1 shimmer (though I’ve seen some that are all matte). I will warn you, compared to Western eyeshadows, they’re lightly pigmented as the goal is usually to achieve a watercolor-y effect. However, I do think that shadows from Rom&nd, Peripera, Clio would suit your preferences!
Bobbie, thank you for a fun video! We're all different with different needs and wants, and that should never get you into trouble! I love large eye shadow palettes because I love the variety and challenge of using different shades each time I do my makeup. Wishing you a blessed Christmas! ❤
When I use wipes I rinse my face off in the sink, or rinse the wipe clean and wipe my face again with the water. Not leaving the product on reduces irritation (I have very sensitive skin).
I'm so glad your video showed up! New sub ❤ I totally agree with you on almost all points. I'm 67, and I'm really not interested in trendy things. I just keep everything simple. You're right, the skin changes!!! OMG...same with big palettes! I use the same Tarte that you have, and the same colors too!!! Great minds.....🙏
Loved this video! I hate highlighter, foundation, shimmer eyeshadow, the white eyeliner, contouring, fake eyelashes. A lot of the stuff you talked about. Thank you.
Thank you for this content, at my age, 63, less is more and using products that work for me and not what the latest fad is works for ME. Everyone should use what works for them without fear of someone getting angry WTheck!! I didn’t know about the facial wipes so thanks for that tip!! You keep doing you and those that like your suggestions will follow even if they don’t agree… we can learn from one another!! Stay blessed!!
I’m 67. I want sheer bases like skin tints, and dewy finish. I want tinted brow gel, no pencil. Cream blush and bronzer. I may use a luminizer under my base. I do love a smudgy pencil liner. Rarely use shadow other than a sheer one and done. I don’t use lashes. I don’t use lipliner. I rarely wear lipstick. Just tinted balm, gloss, or oils. Love the brown mascara trend. Elf Holy Hydration is a great moisturizer. Timeless makes good reasonably priced serums. I use Pixi and Good Molecules toners. I buy all sorts of cleansers. Oh, and my concealer needs to be radiant, somewhat sheer, and often the pink corrector is what I need. My one splurge is Grande lash serum.
For years I used baby oil to take my makeup off (wp mascara & eyeliner) & Cetaphil cleanser to 2nd cleanse. Worked fine. (There weren't all the options that we have today when I started wearing makeup as a teen. Ponds was like it.) Now I use a balm from Good Molecules & Vanicream. I have rosacea & eczema so I have to keep skincare pretty basic - nothing with fragrance, alcohol or actives. I have 3 moisturizers that I use depending on the season. Sometimes I layer all 3. Water cream & peptide moisturizer from The Inkey List. And a cica night mask (for redness) plus a milky toner from Laneige. Vaseline or squalane oil for a last occlusibe layer. Some people throw the kitchen sink at their skin & I don't understand how it can take all the scrubbers, acids & retinols. That just seems like too much. My post meno, sensitive skin nainly needs moisturizing & products that will gently remove makeup & sunscreen. I live in an arid high desert climate, moisturizer is a must.
I had to use wp mascara for the reasons you mentioned - it held my curl, didn't smudge on my hooded lids plus my eyes water a lot from allergies. But it started irritating me eyes which are very sensitive to makeup. So I switched to a tubing formula from Clinique. It works great. I just have to curl my lashes twice. Before I apply (a few pulses) & very carefully after for a couple pulses of the lash curler. It kills me pay 20 something bucks for mascara after using drugstore for years but eye health & comfort is important. I don't generally buy palettes, I make my own from singles. I'm a neutral girl on the day to day so I only need 2 shimmers & 3 mattes for a full eye look. Most days it's 2 or 3 shadows tops (I use shadow as liner) Beauty spongess: Elf makes a great one. The Dr. Bonner soap is a great brush cleaner or just get the solid soap made by Beauty Blender. It lasts a long time & is easy to travel with.
@@MiMiOnTheGoGo Hourglass has a good one. Beauty Pie does, too. Clinique is good. Caliray is good (not sure about the spelling). My daughter likes the Tarte one.
Lovw youe makwup. You look great. Totally agree about giant palettes, gift boxes, subscriptions. I know what I want and what shades work for me. I too struggle with mascaras that pull the curl out but I found a combo that holds the curl without resorting to waterproof formulas. It's very expensive but I almost never try anything else once I find a winning product so in the long run, I save money. Right after my skin prep, I curl my ashes adn then apply Suqqu Mascara Base which I order from Care to Beauty. I do all my makeup and then apply a coat of Chantecaille mascara, not the ridiculously expensive Faux Cils Longest Lash, just the plain Faux Cils. Doesn't clump or smudge. Holds the curl and gives loads of volume and length.
I am all for spending money IF worth it, but agree with you on all of these. My absolute favorite oil cleanse is grape seed oil. Seriously, big ole bottle in the grocery store. Another viewer mentioned beef tallow-also wonderful. 😊It removes every trace of sunscreen and waterproof mascara. Wipe that off with an unscented baby wipe which are oddly softer than face wipes and wash cloths, really cheap, and don’t leave the film that face wipes do. Plus doesn’t get a washcloth all greasy. Lastly, use a gentle cream or foaming cleanser depending on the season.
I agree totally with you Bobbie! A couple things I was confused about, but 🤷🏼♀️🙃🤦🏼♀️ I’m a natural blonde. lol. I too refuse to spend extra money on cleansing balms and or oils and cleansers. I love Beakey Beauty sponges and there are even some cheaper ones that are fantastic. Keep on doing what you’re doing and bringing to us. Love your honesty and boldness. 😊
Every tubing mascara I’ve tried are so wet and they all use those pokey plastic bristles that don’t build enough volume. I hate those brushes. I need volume for my lackluster lashes.
@@Pamela-B Have you tried Thrive or No,7? I do not find the wet. Thrive does create some volume but I agree that most tubing mascaras do not build volume. The two I mention are not very wet at all.
It's crazy that beauty opinions should get you in "trouble". I love eyeliner and liquid lipstick, but I agree they are not for everyone. My 64 year old skin loves Retin-A, organic castor oil, and Gold Bond facial moisturizer. Easy peasy and cheap since insurance covers most of my Retin-A. Love your channel ❤ Do you recall the lipstick you're wearing? I love the color.
Your editing is great! Do you do it yourself or have an editor? I enjoy your honesty, practicality and relatability! Have a blessed Christmas and happy New Year 🙏🎄🥳
I agree with everything you said! I feel the same way about buying expensive items when I can get the same affect from something much cheaper and I never use highlighter either...you are me...somehow 😂😂
SHOP MISS A has an amazing cleansing balm . I don’t use it for my eye makeup because I wear heavy duty no budge mascara. But I use it for my skin and then I cleanse right after with an inexpensive handmade charcoal bar. I’ve oily skin and rosacea and I like to make sure since I only wash once a day it all comes off. I use an inexpensive follow up, soothing Korean brand cleanser. Which softens my skin. And I follow with inexpensive Korean products after that.
Thank you for an honest, very realistic review. Just like you, I have simplified my beauty routine also, and I have gone back to some "basic" products that work very well. Nevertheless, it is reassuring to hear other women expressing the same opinions. PS: My grandma used Ponds cold cream, she had beautiful skin until the day she died. I have started using it again recently. LOL!
I have been a Clinique girl for years. I have tried lower costproducts, but go back to Clinique. Elemis has an odd smell and burns my eyes. I do think the ZERO and recently bougt a bogo at Ulta of the small jars. Do not buy a large container of the Clinique balm unless you are going to use alot. After awhile it gets a smell and gets a weird texture.
A marketing professor in grad school said women were being scammed by the beauty industry-his question to us was “Have you ever seen the size of the cats those products are made in?” implying those so-called rare expensive ingredients might be neither. That comment is always in the back of my head when shopping.
Great honest content. How refreshing to watch someone encouraging viewers to “accept that it’s not my thing”! Truly, we don’t need to have FOMO at this age. Mindful purchases please ❤

Same. I use my fingers to apply makeup. Foundation, blush, and eyeshadow. I do use a fluffy brush for powder.

I'll leave the white eyeliner, flashy highlighters and expensive skin cleaners for the young TikTok influencers.
I've been using a wet terrycloth for 20 yrs with no soap. It's rough texture is a good exfoliate
I stopped using toner. It is always part of a regimen sold by these companies, and I just think it is to sell more product. I stopped buying it and see no difference.
I wear brown mascara and Waterproof Brown is hard to find in many brands. Just brown is hard to find in many brands even in regular formula.
I Found my perfect Chocolate Brown Mascara it’s YSL and I have been looking for 29 years so no more raccoon eyes. ❤️🐾🐾
@@JuliesMakeupadvice60TY! I will try it.
True story. I have to get brown black.
@@lorismith5369 ❤️🐾🐾
@@lorismith5369 Really i know it’s little expensive but I really luv brown especially as I get older but i do use jones road or plum Thrive or an electric blue from YSL… please let me know how you like YSL Brown mascara❤️🐾
I use Abolene cream to take off my make-up. It's unscented, and it's been working fine for me for 45 years. I use raw Shea Butter for my moisturizer. At night I use Castor oil lightly around my eyes and on my eyebrows.
I love common sense. It’s refreshing. Thank you.
I use a bar of Dove soap to clean my makeup brushes. It works better than brush cleaners.
I use ponds cold cream .. loving it for years
love it too but it clogs my skin
Same. It works well 👍
Fantastic video!
@ Is the Clio or Lash Sensational waterproof?
@ what is the magnetic hard white compact for eyeshadows?
@ Seint has 2 different sizes white Hard Magnetic Compact so everything it magically In hard compact with a nice mirror I’m going to show them on my video once I load up tonight. Any ?. Just ask. ❤️🐾
You are my identical ‘likes/dislikes’ twin that I’ve never met, across the pond! Glad I’m not the only one who feels like that🥰Happy Christmas to you and your family. ❤🇬🇧
Same...triplets! 😂
Quads ! 😂🇬🇧
I can’t imagine why anyone would be disturbed by your choices about what you want to buy or not to buy. I too am over buying things that are ridiculously over priced. Like Beauty Blenders.
Totally agree! I'm getting tired of eighty dollar foundation and a hundred dollar eyeshadow. It is getting ridiculous!
❤Love this!! So much common sense! Practical, helpful! and really uncomplicates things! Very much appreciated Thank you 😘
I realize we’ve never met in person, but I’m really agreeing with everything you’ve said!🥰i feel like I want to be more minimalistic, but it’s so hard.
Keeping it simple at 56!
Merry Christmas Bobbie! 🎄
Thank for saying this! I’m so tired, I use wipes. I’m using Dove and seem to have no problem.
I use this cleansing oil too & love it. It lasts a long time…
You can never get in trouble with me! 🎄
😊This is your most honest and BEST video. Succinct and to the point.
I am 58 also and feel you spoke what most of us feel or did not even realize until you said it. So Bravo to you.
First time here and this is a completely different makeup video, which I really enjoyed 😊. I love your makeup look, simple and chic. I’ve subscribed.😊
I've used Dawn detergent to clean my makeup brushes for years with great success. I don't mind paying $ for something if it's really good. The Take the Day off Balm is worth it to me because it removes everything easily and a little goes along way. I save $ on my cleanser and moisturizer instead.
Shampoo is good too
*Minimal Products* .
Removes makeup and cleans at the same time, but my major
love is IT DOESN'T BURN MY EYES!
Great to see you! Happy New Year!❤💋
Me,too. Love Philosophy!
I had to laugh when you talked about highlighter. I admire it on other women but when I put it on myself, I’m like you - thinking “why did I do that?”😅
Same here. I can't get it to work for me. 🤷♀️
I don’t use loose powder. It is so messy. Big eyeshadow palettes are overwhelming to me. Excellent video. Merry Christmas 🎄🎶❤️
Totally agree with this. Great job.I think anyone over 50 should follow the idea that less is more.
Only do one and done shadow these days. I find pallets overwhelming

Your video came up in my feed…. Love it! You are down to earth and full of great tips❤️
Try goat milk soap and lotion. I have rosacea and dry very mature skin. Nothing has worked until the goat milk.
I totally agree with you on all of these! Glad im not the only one who feels this way. Love your videos!
I agree about not using those wipes. I have rosacea and, man, those irritate my face!
Great post and I like your reviews, they are honest and I often agree with you
I appreciate your honesty and straightforward comments and I agree with you completely. I also like to simplify my skincare and makeup routine as I deal with dry and aging skin. I really enjoy your videos - thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions.❤😊
You are welcome Susan! Happy Holidays!
Me too!
YOU LOOK GREAT! Beautiful lipstick on you! May we get a tutorial on the makeup look you have on today?
Really good video - very straightforward. I agree with most of it. Have you ever done a video on how you keep your teeth so white?
Oh My what a spectacular video! So many spot on view points. Much Love
I enjoy your videos so much. MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🇨🇦
Fantastic! Thank you - I feel SO much better.
You look so pretty today! What are you wearing, especially the lipstick. Thank you!
I agree! Have actually not seen her before but would love to know what she is wearing in this video. Very nice look that is done but not over done!
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing
I only use coconut oil to remove my makeup. It works great. Then I use cerave cleanser.
Bobbi, have you tried tubing mascaras? They’ve been my saving grace for my panda eyes!
Agreed! I have tried everything! Cheap and beyond expensive. The tubing mascara works better than anything anymore.
I’ve heard good things but yet to try. Any brand recommendations?
@@KDTifI’ve yet to try them. Any brand recommendations?
@@MiMiOnTheGoGo Hourglass has a good one. Beauty Pie does, too. Clinique is good. Caliray is good (not sure about the spelling). My daughter likes the Tarte one.
@ TY! 💜
I love the Purito green cleansing oil. It doesn’t hurt my eyes and it’s relatively inexpensive.
Really missed your Christmas videos this year. I always got the best ideas! Your skin looks amazing. Merry Christmas!
Another idea for your mascara... use tubing mascara. It doesn't flake, keeps your lashes curled and slides right off with water.
@@joycemechaber5819…I’ve been a regular user of the Thrive mascara & really like it in my 63 year old eyelashes. It is easy to remove!
Loved this Bobbie! I so agree with you! Merry Christmas to you and your family!😊❤💚
Thank you Wendy! Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!
Only thing i don't like about your channel is you are not on that often.😂
What a lovely compliment 😊
Your editing is great! Do you do it yourself or have an editor?
I enjoy your honesty, practicality and relatability!
Have a blessed Christmas and happy New Year 🙏🎄🥳
I'm with you on the neutral powder shadow under the lower lids. I'll never not do this! It's fire! My eyes are similar to yours. (In my 60s)
I’m always hesitant to reuse sponges bc so much bacteria can grow, so I use a brush. Feel like I have more control putting it on.
Hello! Love your vlogs! They are so fun to watch. Your channel is fantastic & love that you share what you like & don’t like . Very helpful!!
LOL!
Use waterproof mascara...nothing beats baby oil...I triple cleanse....rosacea too.Try glycolic acid...Amazing re Dr.Idriss.
Godspeed

Thank you! Can you share your lip color?
Thanks SO MUCH for this. Never heard of some of the products you mention. Will check them out!
