I like my keyboards to have a 70% clacky 30% thocky sound profile, and not too loud. Are you team clacky or thocky? Or clocky? or marbly? What about plasticky?
@@Leinad64444 I haven’t tried either but am thinking about switching to an HE board since I mostly play CS, I currently have a keychron Q1v2. It basically no question that I’d go with the keychron, wooting might be ahead in the tech side of it but a flimsy plastic 60% (80he is a weird layout too) board that sounds and feels mediocre is too big of a trade off for a microscopic increase is speed. But I’m definitely concerned with the current QC and customer support keychron is offering with these new boards
Hey mate do you know if you can create a shortcut to change profile with this keyboard? I want to buy it but I need to get back a feature I had on my Corsair keyboard. The profil shortcut (changing from gaming profil to typing for exemple ( with some remap key on my case ). Do you know if you can do this ?
For my work I write a lot on the computer, and I love mechanical keyboards. But wanted something also good for gaming, and future proof. Was also very much out of love for how gateron and other manufacturers continue to release slight variations of their keys, but there was no way to change them if not by actually swapping them ...
Since my currently board has 1mm switches I think you just convinced me to stick with it awhile. Maybe if AM release a HE board I might go for it then.
nope, just tuned + lubed stabs. I would have done keybored's Q1 mod, but was already happy with the sound profile, if anything I'd want it quieter which I'm sure a full pom / nylon HE switch would be great when released in the future. Gateron's switches err on the louder side
I’m torn between picking one of these up or just finally buying better switches and lubing them for my Q1v2. I’ve done basically every other mod you’d expect but I never got around to replacing the stock gateron linear reds. I mostly play CS so even if it’s a very small change in performance, I kinda want it lol
Hall effect is analogue. And it is not first HE keyboard. Wooting just made it popular. Keychron made Q1 he to compete with wooting. Also there is like 20+ he switches that propably are compatible just Keychron community didnt test every switch like wooting guys on discord
What we need is a database of confirmed switches that people have actually tested. I also mentioned this is the first aluminum + wireless + HE keyboard.

so you havent tried the wooting 80he but you claim this keyboard is the best one?
@@Leinad64444yes. If it’s not aluminum and wireless, then it’s a no buy from me. What do you recommend?

@@FatherBoots if u play cs then a He keyboard will definitely make a difference.
@@FatherBoots what happened with keychron qc?

I like your keyboard spec - can you make a video of how to lube and tune stabs and how did you add emerald keycaps .

I have the keychron q1 v2 I want to know if the cases are interchangeable I assume they are at lest without the battery

Were any mods done to the board other than replacing the keycaps?

Theres now a Q5 HE available... Finally.

Try it out and return it if you don't like it. The one I linked in my description from Amazon has a 30 day return policy.
If you want super fast switched with a low actuation point the DR rapid ice are pretty cheap and they have been great for me
@@nottheonlyjustin I’ll look into those, they seem interesting
