FT3 all the way seems what fits the best with SF6. The game is way too explosive, I've seldom seen time outs happen since it came out.
FANG and AKI are vastly different characters. Fang does not convert big damage. He plays to lame out and drag the game out using his poison and win by grinding. Aki is about applying poison to the opponent so she can do an explosive burst of damage and cash out.
