No it's not it because of the price you say that don't get me wrong its amazing the engineering behind it and the finish is remarkable but it's not the best
This is clearly a man who was more influenced by trends earlier in his watch collecting and has really grown into his own taste. That's really great to see. As a man still influenced by trends, I look forward to the next stage a bit more!
Agreed! Would love for you to check out SBGA211 GS and especially how you’d style it given the watch is 41 MM and you and I have the same wrist size. :)
The Reverso is my grail watch, as close to design perfection as you can get. You can really tell you put much effort and personality into those creative intros!
Very cool update, glad you didn't sell the Datograph yet that's a wise choice! :) Congrats on all the new additions and looking forward to the future! Agree on the polar explorer II btw.
You are a TRUE Horology fan. Letting go of the hyped Nautilis and any Rolex, and getting a piece of real history with the Speedmaster and JLC Reverso is great. Also the Vacheron Dress piece is a personal grail, as well as the Lange 1. Great taste and it seems that you truly follow your heart with a timepiece and not the crowd. I tip my hat to you sir!
Love your aesthetic and eye for vintage- inspired time pieces. You should do a video on your top picks for brands that carry 40s-50s era inspired watches
Finally, the watch collection that we've been waiting for. I like how most of your watches now are dress watch that's simply elegant & versatile to wear. Speaking of watch, I also want to share mine. I just repaired my dad's old Bulova Chronograph 2 months ago. I accidentally found it in his closet when I was tidying up, so I asked him about it. Turns out he bought it all the way back to 90s even before I was born, so it's a quite a historical one. I asked him to go to repair it, along with his Longines since it also needed maintenance at that time. So glad I found it that day and now that it's fixed, it becomes mine and I wear it in rotation with my Seiko Chronograph. It has gold dial, rotating bezel, and gold stripe on its steel bracelet. Just a bit story of mine, really shows that watches are really intriguing & fascinating pieces of art. Thanks for doing this video, Brian. Cheers
Hi! I work as a translator. While preparing for a translation job for IWC, I found your watch video and your channel and recently bought my first Rolex. Thank you for your inspiration. Wish women could have more choices like men do when it comes to watches.
I love seeing the evolution of your collection Brian! I seriously love that you brought some gold into your watch box. The VC and the JLC are amazing pieces, and I think your style is really close to mine so this is refreshing to see. I’m sick of the videos where everything is steel Rolex and Patek. So kudos to you. Wear them in good health.
Such beautiful and classic collection, won’t expect anything else! The deductions and additions -speed master in particular-only refines and polishes the whole feel of the collection. Cheers 🥂
Aarh man, I saw "Lange" in the title and thought you got that Lange 1 in rose gold. Time to graduate that beauty out of the wish list! An absolute dream watch for me.
Last year video,, I thought that it's the most beautiful collection but now I think that this is the most beautiful collection :). Especially Vacheron and jlc additions look perfect.
Oh and this one is my datograph. You know. One of the greatest watches ever engineered haha what a flex. Love your collection and your channel. You seem so authentic.
Bryan, please, when talking about watches, don't hesitate to include details about the straps if they are not the originals. It is much appreciated info which many forget to give (and some never reply). Very useful for us who try to contain our addiction to watches by dressing the ones we have with new straps
Excellent update. What I like most about ur collection is you don’t fall into any of the hype pieces or worry about investment opportunities. My personal favorite is the Blue Dreamer by Wei Koh and Revolution. That piece is so perfect and when they released I was dying to have one. I didn’t have the funds at the time but now that I do I have been searching
Now my comment after actually watching the video: loved it. Cried a bit inside for the 1675 but really think that you have a collection of an aficionado. In times where you only see the same models flushed up by the algorithms it is such a pleasure to see your tasteful collection :)
Stunning collection. It’s refreshing to see a man who is cognizant about his wrist size, and has the confidence to choose classic-scale pieces, rather than forcing himself to wear the jumbo-dinner-plate variants. Too many guys nowadays equate oversized watches with masculinity.
Awesome collection my man. I remember viewing your previous video and commented how exquisite and classy your taste is. I certainly see certain new great editions, honestly imo better to dress and feel fancy than some of the old pieces. I love the new jaeger, solid piece look forward to watching the next annual collection !
I can’t fault any of your choice. It’s very much similar to mine, especially on the VC and Lange Datograph but I would pick other Lange than the 1 and the JLC moon face (the reverso is a good one). For me, I would pick the PP 3970 (grail watch). I prefer more expensive time pieces than quantity.
A very well rounded watch collection, and a very good wishlist too. With that being said, I would recommend you to checkout the Vacheron Constantin Historiques ultra-fine 1955 edition in pink gold, its one of the most elegant dress watches of all time, and I consider it the quintessential Black-tie or formal day wear watch and will really complete your watch collection. Although the JLC reverso works a a Black-tie or formal wear watch, I just don't think that it's elegant enough to really embody the dressiness of black-tie or formal wear.
@@hespokestyle It is indeed very elegant, but I would at max wear it with a formal suit or a stroller, but for black tie and true formal wear I would opt for something more simple yet elevated.
I got to hand it to you! I've been looking for the ultimate watch, Breguet, Patek Philippe and JLC etc. I've been really studying them. The VC you picked is amazing and now that's the one I want. You really found a winner. Thanks!
Love seeing how your collection is evolving. Thanks for sharing Brian; some beautiful pieces there and looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop.
Once again, bravo Brian! Very well done and loved seeing your latest full collection and hearing your latest wish list! First though, that opening theme song was perfection and made me laugh (it sounded very familiar! lol). I had totally forgotten that you have the Datograph so seeing that was a thrill. I bow down to you as it is one of my TOP grails, if not THE top.
I agree with your thoughts about 38mm being the perfect watch size. I get that it’s all relative to someone’s wrist size.....but hard to go wrong with 38mm for 95% of people.
That Vacheron Constantin has something of an elegance what immediately when I saw it, it spoke to me in my mind and found it quite appealing and with the elegant leather band. I'm not fond of wearing metal band watched and often prefer Leather or rubber with embedded braided steel inside. All metal bands eat into my skin and I just avoid them. However, I do love looking at elegant watches and just admire the craftwork. Looking at the back of the Vacheron Constantin was mesmerizing. Luv the elegance of the Watch Case as well, very elegant!
Hey Brian! I love your watch related videos, and I’d love to see one where you show a few outfits styling your JLC Reverso :) ! Keep up the great content!
Amazing collection. I just bought the Tag Carrera 3 hands as my entry into swiss watches. Hopefully in my 30s and 40s I'd get to own the more higher end pieces..
Great collection buddy! A nice blend of style, versatility, and historical importance of chronology. Not that my opinion should matter, but I also think that you’ve nailed the substitutions. Wear all of them in good health 👏🙌🤛
Been contemplating to buy a square dial watch, debating if should go with a Cartier tank or preowned /vintage JLC reverso. Yours look very exquisite and sharp.
Great watches man. In my opinion the grand seiko Snowflake is 1 of the best watches for the money in the world and best looking. That spring drive movement is amazing!
amazing collection one of the few where i could see myself getting almost all of them, i feel like a Grand Seiko would compliment what you have very nicely
It's quite funny. I'm 22 and I would pick exactly the same watches. I started collecting watches one year ago. Started with a Speedy, then a Datejust and now I'm looking for a Cartier Tank Solo automatic. My favorite watch of all time is the reverso and I live close to Glashütte where Lange is producing. Thanks a lot for your videos and best wishes from Germany!
I agree, especially for my 6.25” wrists, 36-38mm is a great size. Most watches that are being made now are 40+mm with large lug to lug and just don’t work well for me. I just bought a Seiko Sarb035 new to remember my grandfather who passed away last month, it will be a great piece. Then I am hoping in the future to be able to afford a Grand Seiko, I’ve always wanted one
The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionelle is my ultimate grail watch! The hand carved guilloche dial is stunning and the open case back is the cherry on top :)
Incredible collection, absolutely love your style and tastes in watches. I lean more towards dressier watches as well. The Lange Datograph is hands down one of the nicest watches ever made. Curious what your thoughts on Glashutte Original? I know you want the Lange 1 but the GO Panoreserve or Panomaticlunar are incredible "bang for buck" and made just down the road.
Those are some beautiful time pieces!!! I need to get a watch box. I don’t have anything fancy but I do have several decent watches that I love wearing.
Like the strap on your speedmaster - it fits the watch very nicely. I have a speedmaster in the same size and it just work on a daily basis. You should definitely get a Rolex Explorer II ( the older version) as you showed. I have one with the black dial and it is one of my most worn watches year after year. And funny enough the older one gets the more one gets into gold. The JLC would be a great choice. Really like your VC - unfortunately for me there are no VC store close to me and what dial is as you probably know a VC exclusive. Keep enjoying collecting-:)
Can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting for this. Love to see the new Cartier additions. I would suggest the Cintrée or perhaps the Basculante to complement your current collection
Before anyone asks, here's my watch box: bit.ly/3lSfwMw
I got a laugh out of this comment as I asked you last time you did a sotc video😁
The Datograph is arguably the best looking watch ever. What a STUNNER!!
Indeed it is!
I love the datograph
No it's not it because of the price you say that don't get me wrong its amazing the engineering behind it and the finish is remarkable but it's not the best
@@ajwadalzyoud4793 it honestly is😅not even subjectively but objectively, closely followed by the Lange1
Yes it is. That’s my exit grail piece. Now if I could only guess the lottery numbers correctly for once.
This is clearly a man who was more influenced by trends earlier in his watch collecting and has really grown into his own taste. That's really great to see. As a man still influenced by trends, I look forward to the next stage a bit more!
May I suggest a Grand Seiko , the dial and hands of Grand Seiko are beautiful
You may!
Agreed! Would love for you to check out SBGA211 GS and especially how you’d style it given the watch is 41 MM and you and I have the same wrist size. :)
They are fine watches though I have no interests in them
Still a seiko by philosophy
The Reverso is my grail watch, as close to design perfection as you can get. You can really tell you put much effort and personality into those creative intros!
Thanks! Glad you like them.
the Lange & the VC traditionelle are truly mindblowing
Oh my that Datograph is just stunning.
Many thanks.
Love that new Vacheron Constantin addition! I also like you still have the humble snk809

Thanks, Johnra!
Very solid video. Clearly there was some maturing in regards to the additions and specially with the wishlist.
