I don’t know why he thinks watch geeks and snobs would look down in this collection…it is a solid stack of wrist wear; and is great when he can relate the watches to life events and can speak to why the character of the watch fits him.
A collector with true down to earth reasons and stories in obtaining them. Something many of us can relate to or aim to do. Hope to see him in more films Gentlemen was a very good follow up!
Finally, someone who knows their watches. not just a rolex faboy. Impeccable taste in watches. I love how casio g shock being 8$ watch deserves a place in collection with big boys.
To clarify the difference between Automatic and Manual - they both have main springs that slowly unwind to power the watch. The difference is that an Automatic watch's main spring is charged through the rotation of the rotor
Very cool that despite having the same derivative watches as other celebrities - 5711, Rolex GMT - he still has more original pieces. An older Tudor - before their in-house movement - he was hip to Tudor a while back.
So good seeing how Henry has upped his new collections. He’s aware of the pieces more. I love the fact he still love the old pieces he bought despite the old ones are not the typical watch geek collection.
Really brilliant watch collection. different brand varieties and styles. All classy and he wears them as watches not to be sat in a box collecting dust
Henry Golding has a rather well balanced collection. GOD TIER is represented, so that's pretty much all I had to see lol! That pasha though... man I have eyed that watch for so long and never pulled the trigger. Great version with the moonphase!
Yeah he didn't go with the most obvious with Rolex, he also has a Tudor which is still a Rolex family member but how much you want a bet people don't know about it. And I just LOVE the IWC dials, simple and yet beautifully done
Cool! Very down to earth guy, and great collection. Each watch purchase seems to be very thought through and intentional, not just some rich guy buying the most blinged out, most expensive pieces, so you can tell the passion is legit.
Honestly this is the collection Id get if I had the money to spend. Mix of class, practicality and heritage. The only thing Id add is a nice spring drive Grand Seiko.
This is a collection. You can understand his taste and preferences. So refreshing compared to most celebs whose idea of collection is just diamond everything.
this is my dream collection. every single watch. crazy how i stumbled onto this video as ive fallen deeper and deeper into loving timepieces but my god he has every single watch i dream to have
Not a bad collection, totally his style, and knows what he's doing. That Patek Nautilus 5711 is dangerous to wear. Once a entry level Patek Philippe watch that you were to find online for $15k, maybe less. That retailed new at $25k back in 2000's. Then it became difficult to get at a Patek Philippe boutique because of the hype/demand. Now this discontinued watch sells for over $100k. I should of held on to mine just a few years longer.....
A really nice and class collection he has. Nice to see he hasn't ruined any watches with fake diamonds. He is a true collector and I hope he continues it.
Very cool collection. Diverse. But Tudor did not make cases for Rolex. The founder of Rolex also founded Tudor and Tudor used Rolex parts for a long time. Everything except the movement. Tudor is Rolex’s baby brother.
I was waiting for a watch nerd to start picking apart some of his comments. What I love most about him is that I bet if you pointed it out to him, he would fully admit he doesn't know the full history or the details, but just loves his watches cause he loves them. As he mentioned... watches are a luxury. We do not need them. Get them cause you enjoy them. It doesn't matter why and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I mean... I've never seen that Cartier before... probably wouldn't buy it for $100, but on him... it looks amazing and it just makes perfect sense!
@@kyle618 perfect, love that we all like different things. I never at a Nautilus on my wrist so don’t yet know how it will feel, still on the (long term) wishlist. But first probably some Cartier watches, liking the Tank and Santos. Any advice in that direction, i have small wrists.
