There’s definitely something about A. Lange & Söhne that gets me every time. I’ve been having a secret affair with the 1815 Chronograph Boutique Edition for a while now :-).
This is one of the classiest collections I have seen and honestly, so in tune with my personal taste. But if I were to pick one it's the A. Lange & Söhne 🤤
So pleasing to see a watch collection that contains a real range of watch styles from the best watch brands out there, that doesn’t just have the classic flashy expensive watches that people want to see and actually an array of beautiful watches in different shapes, sizes and styles. Really interesting collection with many exceptional pieces. Just looking at you as a person, I definitely believe that you would suit the Patek Philippe Aquanaut perfectly and it would make a great addition to an already fantastic collection.
Incredible collection. Congratulations on your pieces. Nevermind how timeless and classic they are, these watches are some of the most rare and hard to come by watches ever!
Probably the best collection on youtube, that datograph just put this tiers above other youtuber's collections. Hope you get your hands on a journe soon!
Probably one of the best watch collection videos I've seen. Content, editing, superlative information, all wrapped up in less than 14 minutes! Your collection isn't bad either. I bought my Rolex Sub no date last year from an AD I've known for awhile. Like you, he came through. Got the watch in less than 2 weeks! My next will be a GMT II Batman, (or a Pepsi) but I'm antisipating a much longer wait!
Now I am curious what you do for a living, because a youtube channel alone did not make that collection possible. The Datograph in particular is gorgeous. Well done!
When it comes to design perspective combined with high class elegance, A Lange and Sohne is unbeatable and I say with all my conscious state of mind, no one can beat them in simplicity and classical design.
Easy video to watch. Nice presentation with good explanations for why the watches are in the collection. No arrogance about his own choices and no bashing of other people's choices either, which makes it a pleasure to watch.
Wow, impressive and classy collection. The fact that you speak so passionately for every single one of them, have a story to tell, plus the fact that you actually take the time to answer to most comments just earned you a subscription.
I would go for the A. Lange & Söhne. That is really a special watch imo. The Heuer Carrera (not Tag Heuer by the wat) is also a great one! The rest is also great, but it doesnt really distinguish from other collectors.
I must say that you have an impresive collection, but I must say that if you´re planning on buying another watch, it should be a Rolex Submariner and a Day-Dte, THEY ARE A MUST HAVE!!! Afterwards you culd wear very well a Breitling Navitimer and if you can get an AP Royal Oak
i always tend to come back to this video every few months because the collection is nearly perfect and he seems so knowledgeable unlike some who don't know much and just say how much they paid for it. EXcellent Excellent video
Hi Brian! I noticed that everyone is praising your well-balanced watch collection- and I can totally see why! However, no one seem to notice that awesome watch box that you have to store these beautiful watches! May I know what watch box is that? Thank you!
Oh god there's so much here to love. The Nautilus is just in a class of its own. Loved the story with it, really illustrated part of the allure of this watch. Must have been a moment of hesitation parting with so much money but you know it's a safe investment. The Seiko at the start is really cool, I've got one myself and completely agree - the fabric strap makes it great with a T-shirt or a polo. But the absolute, undisputed winner for me is the Lange. The dial is just... beautiful. Really clear German influence on the design, crisp, finished perfectly, but the thing that makes it really special (at least in my view) is that back plate and the movement. It agonisingly beautiful. I doubt I'll own one of these for a long time (hopefully one day) but I held one that my friend owned and my lord, it was just beyond belief. I could have sat and watched it tick for hours. If I had one suggestion, have you ever considered getting some really vintage pieces? I've got a 1942 Jaeger Le-Coultre Military watch and it's always an awesome conversation starter with watch guys I meet. It's a tiny dial (31.5mm) but on a hot day with a white shirt, it's a great way to dress up a casual look. Anyway, brilliant, honest and humble content. Nothing tacky, no mention of cost or bragging about your collection. Just a run through of a beautiful set of watches. I doth my subscribe button to you good sir.
I have 55 watches, ranging from $50 Amazon and Ebay discount coupon deals, all the way to waches worth $800 when they were new that I found in pawn shops for under $200. I'm eyeing a Hamilton Aviator watch at a pawn shop now that's selling for $800. I'm researching to see if it's a good deal. But, all that aside, my comment is that it's good to finally see a watch ownership video where all the watches don't cost $100k or more and the owner says "I have 6 of these!". That's fun to watch, to a point, but there are more of us ordinary people out here collecting watches who can't afford watches that cost more than our annual salaries, so it's good to see this somewhat reasonable watch collection. It's a more motivating collection to me than seeing a collection of 10 watches in a box where each watch costs more than my house. Thanks for the motivation to build up to better and better watches ⌚ 😎👍.
First time watcher and now a sub. Fantastic collection. I love your style. I am also very proud to say that you and I share one of your watches...unfortunately (for me) it's the 809. lol. I love that watch. Got mine 3 years ago for $42. Unbelievable. Keep up the great work.
You are a man of taste. I like the fact that you own both Patek and A. Lange (and their most iconic models!). I would suggest you to add a World Timer from Patek as well (ref. 5110, a truly beautiful watch which I own) as I imagine that may fit your life style. Cheers.
RikkityRick I do not agree at all: not only they are quite functional for people that are plugged in different timezones without pushing buttons but some of those are very, very smart. Try the Jaeger Universal, the slim PP... If you are not into it ok, but criticise those that really enjoy them is just out of the question here. I am a collector, do not have a world timer and would love to add those 2 in it.
@@rgassaf1 Functional? Since when were mechanical watches about functions? Let me quote my favorite line from non-watch-collectors; 'you have your phone for that'. World timers are downright UGLY and are overpriced. The fact that second hands run MUCH harder hits compared to other models shows.
For some reason this was randomly recommended to me by TH-cam and damn, I'm glad I clicked on the video. An amazing collection and really well filmed. Quick question: are you interested in any of the Independents?
I got my grail watch last night so happy. The AD I have a relationship with called me and said they were able to get their hands on the Timex Modern Reader in black. I paid $15K for it, but worth every penny. I have to say Amazon has some amazing Timex Homage watches for $50 to $100, but I wanted the real thing and glad I paid up for it. Finally got my grail! So happy!
Came here from one of your fragrance vids, it's really refreshing to see a TH-camr lean toward useful content as opposed to gimmicks. And as someone currently wearing an IWC 3716 in blue, also appreciate the IWC love. Keep up the good work.
Very impressive collection. I too am a fan of the Nautilus and also A. Lange & Son. Perhaps consider looking at Jaeger Lecoultre as well. They are beautiful watches, and the reverso with dual dials are so graceful. Another brand which would be great is Panerai. The rose gold 00684 is fabulous but now discontinued but available used from Watchbox and Chrono 24. They’ve replaced it with a virtually identical looking watch at the same price, but don’t use their own movement. So you are asked to spend around £22500 for a watch with a bought in movement.
Wow Dufour datograph! I hope you make video just waring it in different combos and places... It seems to be so special and rare, so much that i can't even understand how does it stands on the hand. Great and really personal collection with no snobbery, just love and appreciation for watches
Lovely collection ,funny never been a watch guy myself however i think the Cartier Americaine from your good wife is a beauty the lady has great taste your a very lucky man .
I just purchased an AP Royal Oak chrono (rose gold case/bracelet with black dial) which was probably a grail watch for me. I'm also looking at the Grande Lange 1 with moonphase in rose gold. That's probably in the running for grail watch as well. There are so many when you start to think about it...
You might be the most genuine and human "rich-guy" on TH-cam I've ever come across. Your success doesn't seem to have affected you one bit in a negative way personality wise. Much respect!
Excellent collection. It is amazing how u acquired the 5711. "Watch People" say there is no such thing as a "waiting list", whether it be for a Rolex or Patek or any other brand. If u become a "premium" customer or if a particular AD seems to like u, he will arrange that watch for u, if possible. Some watches are difficult to find due to supply shortages, the Nautilus 5711 is no exception. The A. Lange & Sohne Datograph is also awesome. You should also look into Breguet and Grand Seiko. A GS will beat Rolex as far as fit and finish is concerned. Coupled with the Spring Drive movement, it has awesome accuracy. Great collection. I luv the silver Datejust.
I totally agree about watch enthusiasts and Seiko. I’m sure that if an AD genuinely likes you, you’ll shoot up the waiting list. I recently went to Boston and the Rolex AD was very engaging and came across so well as a genuine watch enthusiast, I just felt I could do well regarding acquiring a sports model. Seiko are one of the truly great watchmakers of the world. They’ve been around as long as some of the top Swiss companies and longer than one of the Holy Trinity, they have innovated more than any other company and the Springdrive is a work of genius. Why cant you puke out the price for individual watch?? Is it a pain to you
If u call this style then u propably have no idea what true style is.
One of the ugliest collection I have ever.. some of the ugliest watches
Yes! Starting off with the Seiko as a nod to budget watches with great value was a properly stylish move mate
Thanks so much! Appreciate that.
Groyper check?
.....finally a TH-camr with a proper collection of watches.
Many thanks. Appreciate the kind words.
Producer Michael has a nice collection
Snoopy Yeah if you are into flashy extravagant diamond watches, I’m not.
ruthy8ruthy no you.

Beautiful collection, Brian! Lange gets me hot and bothered every time I see one haha.

Glad to deliver! Thank you for the kind words.
The way you went about buying the Nautilis is classy and calm. Amazing!
Much appreciated, Raj. Thank you.

Many thanks, Shreeram! It certainly is. I feel very fortunate to have it.
My realistic grail watch is a Grand Seiko Snowflake. Unrealistic grail watch is the Credor Eichi II.
Grand Seiko is fantastic.
You are into the seiko brands. Good taste
I have a few Rolexes and Omega watches and other luxury brands, but my Patek Philippe is definitely the most amazing watch I own
A. Lange & Söhne pieces are just stunning.

You're very kind.
This collection is CRAZY
You're very kind. Thank you for the comment.
That Lange watch is the crown jewel of your collection. I'd take take that over any Patek any day of the week.

Navitimer B01 on black leather strap! And Cartier Tank solo, gold.

Your Lange watch is perfect. So beautiful.

This is a serious collection. Every watch in the collection is absolute top notch and the best of each brand.
The A.Lange & Söhne is amazing !
I saw Seiko and Lange and I knew that you mean business and you know something about watches, so thumbs up 👍🏻
Ok now THIS is a collection. Excellent taste in watches.

The watch collection is a science, an art, and a lifestyle on its own, I guess you´re a lucky man.
Brian, your Lange is a real beauty and class! And a great collection! Congratulations
Lange is also my favorite brand! The datograph is a perfect choice! For the price of 30k Euro you can’t get a better watch with a nicer movement
Nice! I need a Lange 1 in my life.
Great watches. Never sell the Cartier Tank. More than a watch. You can always use it to remember your anniversary.
Oh, dude, that watch is never, ever leaving the collection.
hahaha omg i had a coworker who forgot his anniversary😂 Aside from that great sentimental value, its a beautiful piece - it has nice dimensions.
This man is all about style.
Awesome to see someone who buys watches for the love of it and not because of their brand status or flex culture. Great respect dude
You basically own every watch that I ever want to own. Great collection and a great taste in watches. 👍
Many thanks, Tim. Really appreciate your comment.
Superb collection man! That Lange is just amazing.
Many thanks. Like I said, I am in awe of the Dato every time I look at it.
But Adrian he doesn’t own an Explorer ;)
The best Collection i‘ve ever seen. Love the IWC and Lange !

The Patek Philippe is my dream watch.
Absolute class.
The fade on that GMT bezel makes it a BEAUTY!
Congrats on everything.
Thomas Reedtz.
Thanks so much, Thomas.
Really incredible collection. My jaw dropped on the Datograph!!! Definitely my grail watch 🙌🏼
Lange 1 and the datograph are most definitely my personal grails. Otherwise I’d love a breguet classique model with a clean enamel dial
