The first wave of punk was dead and buried ..Sid Vicious dead ..Steve Jones doing Heroin on the streets of New York ..The Clash had fallen to pieces..the second wave of punk carried on banging ii's head shouting in the corner scaring away everyone who wasn't a full on spikey smelly punk or skinhead and along came Snuff ..truly a precursor to NOFX and Blink 182 ..songs with emotion , tunes and musical ability ...fair play to them for being the defibrillator punk needed. Sadly though I think people stumbling across them today will think they are imitators rather than the innovators that they really are
I think they played so many Japanese kids songs and shit like that that they naturally just have a not poppy but perfect melodies….. it’s actually fuckn with my head lol punk rock don’t normally have that emotion
