Matt Murdock is one of my favourite hero’s him and captain America are some of the best marvel has to offer.Matt is one of them most inspiring characters because his morals are constantly challenged but he always doubles down and that is true heroism and what being good is really about. Matt Murdock is a true hero not because he is perfect but because he isn’t but he tries consistently and never gives in.
well said man, truely one of the most consistent and amazingly written characters within marvel comics history! I genuinely watch the show several times per year its just that good
@ don’t get me wrong I love peter Parker but right now he’s not the best marvel has to offer his comics aren’t great but mat has only ever had mediocre comics at his worst a vast majority are good to great also Matt struggles so much more with his morality every day he has to remake that decision it also if he falls and dose kill it’s much more than when Peter dose Peter is just sad and the writers use it to make him miserable for a bit then he gets over it also he has never killed with the intent of killing and don’t get me wrong o think that is good in a hero but when Matt dose it brings interesting themes of him going against his religion and his job basically it gose against everything he believes in and that is just one aspect of both the characters. Please don’t misunderstand me I am in no way saying spider man is a bad character because that would simply be untrue but Matt is just handled better. Also at the end of the day it’s my opinion so you aloud to differ.thanks for coming to my ted talk
Daredevil and Spider-Man are two sides of another coin with both not only struggling against a madman but also having thier friends and family theeated its crazy
He lost his sight at a young age as well as his dad, his mom is a nun who gave him up due to postpartum depression. He has lost girlfriends who either died by assassins or sold his secret identity to his main nemesis for a drug fix. His identity was revealed to the world after being given to the kingpin and came back from the brink of a deep and dark depression. So, why do I love daredevil? Because no matter how bad Matt Murdock's life is, he always bounces back in one way or another.
Though I have basically stopped reading comics, I read a lot in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Daredevil has long been one of my favorites. His story is fantastic…. He’s so human, so relatable. He is the ultimate Marvel hero.
My very first exposure to Daredevil was his cameos in animated series like Spiderman. Then the Ben Affleck movie and then.....the glorious Netflix show. Daredevil isnt among my top favorites at least not initially but I was always fascinated by him and really respect Matt Murdock. Im glad Netflix did him justice. I can only hope the future continues to do so. Maybe one day Ill pick up his comics. For now, I have a good enough idea that he is a great ass hero and character in my eyes.
thats incredibly valid man :) if you ever do decide to read DD I'd say a great starting point would be Daredevil man without fear by frank miller, its sorta like the "main" telling of his origin
@@mnstash Good choice. 😎👍🏾 To my knowledge, Miller wrote the MWF story, intentionally as a screen storyboard. And even though it changes some things up from previously, it is still my preferred DD origin story. Hopefully it will get a movie adaption eventually. When I watched the MCU Daredevil series at Netflix, I was amazed at the acting, the music, the fighting sequences and the storytelling that it feels like the show emulates the dark and emotional crusades of the Man Without Fear written at the hands of Frank Miller, Ann Nocenti, Kevin Smith, Brian Michael Bendis and Ed Brubaker. I had recently been reading the Daredevil comic books from Saladin Ahmed and Mark Waid, I have been enjoying both of them because they mix the fantastical and swashbuckling tone from the Silver Age with the thrilling noir tone from the Dark Age. What do you think about the work between Ahmed and Waid?
The waid stuff I really enjoyed his first run, I thought the tone was really refreshing and pretty fun to read! His second run I felt that it got a little stale for my liking and didn’t like the direction it was heading. But Ahmed’s daredevil..I’m sorry if you like it but I can’t stand that book, I’ve a video almost done where I just go over what I really dislike about the comic
I always considered Fisk to be more of a DD archnemesis rathr being Spider-Man's. Having a mere obese man with zero super powers giving trouble to a guy that can lift a couple of tons with on arm, makes zero sense.
Yeah im really glad Miller did the switch and for the future writers to never look back on that one, I just can't imagine daredevil without Wilson at this point!
50 yrs ago, for me, it was the uniform. And King Pin made the perfect Villain for him. The two seemed to be perfect opposites. And in the colossal King Pin, concern for Matt was immediate.
I have a special connection to Matt Murdock/Daredevil as a character because both of my grandparents are blind and I've got Cerebral palsy myself. For me, Matt represents the rage of being disabled in a fully abled world so I can relate to that rage so much. It is also Matt's willpower and resilience that inspires me to keep going and continue being the best person I can be. It doesn't matter how much he has beaten/suffered through , he'll always do the right thing in the end. I also long for connection/love like Matt does. That has made me realise it's the relationships in your life that will make you who you are and keep you grounded. Overall, Matt Murdock helped me to accept and appreciate my disability and my vulnerabilities, you gotta keep going despite all the injustice in the world, he inspires me to be a 'Man Without Fear". To live without compromise and stick by my own morals and ethics. To me he's probably among the most human characters of all fiction. This is why I love Matt Murdock/Daredevil. PS... To be able to watch Charlie Cox to play this beautifully complex character has been a delight. I'll always have respect/love for him. He's amazing at performing as someone who is blind. Forever my Matt Murdock/Daredevil
That was beautiful man, I’m happy that through this character you’ve found a safe place because it’s such a key thing to have while navigating through life. The fact that you keep going and try to live like Matt, try to live as a man without fear is something I myself find inspiring. It’s people like you and Matt who help inspire the world to keep on fighting! Much love man🙏
My brother recently bought me the Marvel Legends DareDevil figure but in the suit he wore during the Red Fist Saga in Chip Zdarsky's run on DareDevil. DareDevil represents a character that draws the line between Faith and Darkness because his neverending battle against those who threaten the peace in Hell's Kitchen, like Kingpin. Not only that, Matt Murdock isn't alone when he has friends like Foggy Nelson, Karen page, and even his Enemy turned lover, Elektra. From a certain point of view, DareDevil teaches us to show no Fear in the face of any obstacle. While Spider-Man embodies Great Power and Great Responsibility, DareDevil embodies the nature of being Fearless.
An absolute fantastic video, Mate! Again, I'm very impressed with your ability to know when to add an intro to one of your videos, and when not to. After watching your video, I think I had something in my eye. A great intro for comic fans who don't know Daredevil, and a great recap of the character. Like you, I grew up a Catholic, and I've questioned Catholicism and its doctrines many times during my life, including leaning at times being an agnostic. However, like Daredevil, I always come back and no matter how many other religions I've looked into and explored, always come back and will always consider myself a Catholic. That's a major reason why I like Daredevil too. I started following Spider-Man comics in 1969, Captain America in 1970, and Daredevil in 1972. The Netflix "Daredevil" TV show was a very good series. IMO, much better than "Iron Fist", "Luke Cage", "Jessica Jones", and even the team-up series "The Defenders". The "Pain, Passion, and the Price of Love" segment was spot-on, and why Marvel fans can also relate to "Spider-Man" up to "OMD/BND" because Peter Parker has the same relatability as Matt Murdock with his relationships with Gwen, MJ, and Felicia. Marvel/Sony/Disney should do a Tom Holland "Spider-Man 4" movie with him and Charlie Cox's Daredevil teaming up to fight Kingpin, with a side story of Spidey getting with The Black Cat. Madeline Klein is rumored to take the role of Ther Black Cat. To me, that would be a mistake. They should cast Sydney Sweeney for obvious reasons. This would remove the bad taste of Kingpin's appearance in the Marvel "Hawkeye" TV series, and Daredevil's appearance in "She-Hulk Attorney at Law" TV series. How great would that movie be. Even though I wouldn't want to see the fake MJ back, you could have the Black Cat get her powers from the Kingpin, and Spidey breaks up with her because of that and as an end credits scene MJ starts to remember who Peter is and that he's Spider-Man. That storyline in that movie would be a huge success, IMO. Keep up the great work. You continue to mature, and your quality of your videos continue to impress. Cheers.
im beyond happy you enjoyed this video man!! I hate a lot of fun making this one, it was a huge passion project of mine, I really wanted my first daredevil video to start off with a bang! it gives me hope and comfort too knowing that youve been through stuff that im going through and managed to find youre way back each time! currently im doing pretty okay with my faith but lord knows theres been many times this year where I haven't, my "why I love spider-man" video is a good example and one I like to rewatch because when making it I was going through possibly the worst time of 2024, yet somehow with enough time I managed to once again find myself and faith! Oh man A spider-man 4 movie with tom and Charlie fighting Vincent would be PEAK. if Sony/disney dont do that then they're just confirming that they despise making money. I can't believe we've never had a film or show like that besides that one animated series episode, I can't even believe daredevil doesn't have a game too!! im for the first time optimistic about an mcu project, im not sure if youve seen the leaked daredevil born again trailer but it managed to perfectly capture the tone of the original show!
I'm glad you're optimistic about "Daredevil Born Again". However, I must always give the caveat Mavel Comics and Marvel Disney's MCU doesn't care about their fans, especially after Phase 3 ended with "Endgame". "Daredevil Born Again" had a bunch of reshoots and who knows what that series will be like. Case in Point, the TH-camr "Thinking Critical" reviewed "Venom 2" yesterday and his panel didn't like the comic and gave it a terrible review and didn't recommend the comic. Spoiler alert. Why did I bring up this comic? Because Paul and MJ/Jackpot made a cameo. As long as Nick Lowe is the editor and the imbecile writers, he hires MJ and Peter will never get back together. This is a definite and Paul and MJ will be paired up for years to come because the morons at Marvel want Paul to have his own comic or MJ and Paul have an ongoing series. This is unacceptable and tragic. I don't trust Marvel or DC to produce comics, live-action movies, or animated TV series or movies giving fans what they want. James Gunn and DC released his first animated TV series "Creature Commandos" this week. I thought it was OK, but again are these types of TV series and movies DC has planned to go "movie the needle"? I don't think so, but everything is wait and see. I brought up DC because your Nightwing video will be coming out. Keep up the great work, but don't be fooled by these companies. DC and Marvel should close their doors because of the continuing garbage and trash these companies produce. It's TH-camrs like yourself who keep fans apprised of these terrible projects. Even though there are one or two projects like "USM" worth mentioning. 2025 will be a terrible year for "ASM".
for the first time I oddly have a positive outlook towards daredevil BA's reshoots mostly because I believe its what saved the show from being a total disaster. originally it was like how we all feared it would be, no Karen, no foggy, im pretty sure no DD for majority of the show, it sounded horrible and nothing like the Netflix version. so if im not mistaken the reshoots had a completely new crew who brought back almost the entire cast of before and did major rewrites to the script. if its not good then I and many others will be sure to show our disappointed but here's hoping I guess😅 I actually have a video planned on mj and pauls Godforsaken cameo in all new venom issue 1 and the preview of 2, I basically overthink an entire way they could use what they've shown us from the venom series to break them up in what I would deem a satisfying way!
Daredevil is great for the most part outside him getting amnesia getting his sight back and for some reason being french, and all of mark wades Daredevil.
I appreciate you talking about your faith, because im christian and thats what connects with me and matt not having any super powers like spider man. Spider man is my favorite hero but matt is more complex because of his faith. He struggles with if fighting is godly and thats why he doesnt kill even when he can. But he still slips up and feels like god isnt there which i relate to a lot. Daredevil is someone who is as relatable as spider man but is more relatable to me. Even if spider man is my favorite
im really glad that this video was able to connect with you on that, its a topic that for me and others like yourself is incredibly important! Daredevil's unique in that way too, I dont think ive ever seen a hero whose faith is so intertwined with his story than him
Man DD is the main reason i involved into the comics. Im so happy this is one the few marvel titles who consistency of quality is really good. Zdarsky run is so amazing man. Personally my second favorite after Bendis. However, the actual main run with Ahmed in not really good, or at least is worse in comparison with the writers we had post Vol.2.
I have to agree, Ahmed's run has been incredibly lacklustre especially in comparison to what came right before it, I think the worst crime that run commits though is that its simply boring to read
Hey man just remember salvation is not of works lest any man should boast. There’s nothing we’ve done or can do to earn it or get more of it. Just give god our hearts and trust him as we run the race. Great vid!
Best crossover they ever did with DC was when bull’s-eye wound up in the Batcave He throws something at Batman, who dodges it He says no one could dodge my attacks and then Batman knocks him out with a single uppercut I think we know who would win in a fight
Spidey v Kraven? Awesome. Spidey and Venom teamup? Sweet. Another three spidey team up? Sure. Solo spidey adventure? 👍🏻. Spidey + FF? I love it. But Spidey and Daredevil? I can’t even said I’d bust, I already did as soon as I thought of typing this message…
Daredevil has some of the best runs in all of Marvel and all the characters feel real Matt tries his best but he makes mistakes, he does all he can to help but someone always ends up punished, be it Matt himself like in Born Again or someone like Heather where DD's actions ruin and end her life I take the piss out of his bad guys like Matador or Death's Head but characters like Gladiator, Elektra and Fisk more than make up for it When Daredevil books are bad, they're still quite good, and when they're good, they're incredible
The way he’s such a consistent character makes him all the more better too, he doesn’t have to deal with the shit spidey does where the writers just want to screw him over constantly for no reason, the writers all seem to actually give a shit. It’s an aspect of the books that make DD’s comics so bloody good!
I wasn't famaliar With daredevil But im happy to see this video and well he was cool to me But now I have a respect for him To me spidey gives this feeling that no matter what Is You should stop to fight back and try again AND see that daredevil have this idea too just makes me more happy About this character Great video Man from a big daredevil fan A wonder full speach AND im happy to be a daredevil fan after this video SOON i start to see the Show and even that 2003 Movie ( I just saw the ending part of it)
im glad I was able to have that effect espically for a character as amazing as daredevil!! thank you for all the kind words :) and if I may suggest, if youre going to see the movie, watch the directors cut of daredevil 2003
I only watch the show and only read chip zdarsky run and his current run. I like how he’s religious beliefs is a big part of his character it’s something that we don’t see a lot of form other characters
Daredevil is my favorite Marvel superhero after Hulk, Spider-Man and Captain America, although I haven't read as much comics as I have with Hulk and Spider-Man. But from what I read, I enjoyed more aside from Born Again and Man Without Fear Ed Brubaker run and Andy Diggle run. Diggle unfortunately couldn't do a lot because after seven issues he had to go straight to a crossover story, but what he did before that was interesting.
the best part about his books imo say since the Kevin smith run is that hes super consistent so if like you said haven't read much you still get the perfect idea of who he is as a character, a thing which I really love about the comics :) im considering to read some more hulk comics (ill go in release date order as per) but is there any runs I should look forward too?
@mnstash oh there's plenty of great stuff. The first six issues, Bill Mantlo (this is where his traumatic childhood is brought up), Peter David, Paul Jenkins, Bruce Jones, Greg Pak featuring a powerless Bruce Banner and his son Skaar. A lot of people enjoyed Al Ewing run as well, but I'm not fond of it because it overcomplicated Hulk's mythology.
I can't wait to dive into his world soon man, I did give his current run a try when it was first coming out but I lost interest as I realised that teenage girl was gonna be a main character thank you for the suggestions too :)
its an amazing story, im not sure if I'd use it as a starting point, I'd save that for frank millers work, like man without fear, then his main two runs, the Kevin smith run, bendis' run etc!
After this video, you have gained a new sub. Your videos are amazing in quality and execution, please continue to upload more exceptional content brother 🫱🏿🫲🏼 going to binge the rest of your channel tonight! 💪🏿😁
Disagree. To me the best Hawkeye villains are Melee based. The swordsman for example. He pushes Clint out of his comfort zone and it typically leads to really intense fights. I also don’t see why Bullseye would want to fight Hawkeye. The entire reason Bulleye wants to fight Daredevil is because he’s the first person Bullseye ever missed. It plays into his psychosis while with Clint I don’t see that happening
@ The fact remains that Bullseye is the only projectile user in marvel that is stated to be better than Hawkeye. The fact that Hawkeye would have to get creative to defeat his better is my argument.
@ I can’t remember either. I do know that the only time hawkeye has ever missed is because Natasha shot the string of his bow mid shot. She tried that with bullseye later and he still hit his target.
The recent run feels like nothing actually happens after each release which just sucks, waiting a month over and over again for what feels like no progress easily kills the book for me imo
@mnstash Yeah he runs with the whole spiritual thing from the end of zdarsky. Which is an wierder concept that i think could work with a better writer. Also Electra still having the daredevil costume is getting more annoying the longer it goes on. Also her hating him feels pretty forced.
that too is a great point, elektra in a dd suit has more than run its course, I hate as well how she gets annoyed if you call her daredevil AS SHES WEARING THE SUIT. it worked for the Zdarsky run but imo its time to switch costumes back! what did you Think of foggy in the current series?? I was put off with the drama the writer tried to force between them
@mnstash I'll have to re read it since I've mostly been skimming do to disinterest. One last criticism I'll say is that the art is inconsistent. I'm not sure what's happening but I love Aaron kruders art. Follow up though I feel like after chips zdarskys run on spectacular spiderman, life story and spiders shadow he should have gotten amazing spiderman. His work on batman is not that good imo but I'd love to see him get another chance you?
chip would definitely bring back that much needed 'heart' feel a spider-man comic needs. the entirety of the zeb wells run and even the beginning of 8 deaths of spider-man fill so empty whereas chip in his short time on spidey managed to create characters and stories that made me at least feel genuine emotion
I’m pretty optimistic so given what the leaked trailer showed us I’m actually really looking forward to it, here’s hoping anyway! Hoped you liked the video :)
@mnstash Have the last few years taught you nothing? Disney can't be trusted. ESPECIALLY since that show has been re-written and delayed numerous times.
Daredevil has what most heroes don’t
It’s the consistency

To think he was once just a yellow-suited quippy hero and not the pulp noir lawer detective we know him as now.
I thank miller every day for the complete 180 he took this character

2025 will be a terrible year for "ASM".
for the first time I oddly have a positive outlook towards daredevil BA's reshoots mostly because I believe its what saved the show from being a total disaster.
originally it was like how we all feared it would be, no Karen, no foggy, im pretty sure no DD for majority of the show, it sounded horrible and nothing like the Netflix version. so if im not mistaken the reshoots had a completely new crew who brought back almost the entire cast of before and did major rewrites to the script.
if its not good then I and many others will be sure to show our disappointed but here's hoping I guess😅
I actually have a video planned on mj and pauls Godforsaken cameo in all new venom issue 1 and the preview of 2, I basically overthink an entire way they could use what they've shown us from the venom series to break them up in what I would deem a satisfying way!
This is a great video! I agree with all of your points, DD is my favorite character for sure
Thank you so much :) I love to hear it and im glad you enjoyed!!
whats your favourite DD run?
Daredevil is great for the most part outside him getting amnesia getting his sight back and for some reason being french, and all of mark wades Daredevil.
Luv the daredevil great review and vid cheers
Thank you mate :)
Ann Nocenti and Romita JR run was my favorite.
oh the Typhoid Mary stuff was amazing!
The chip Zdarsky run got me into comics in general
I read Brian Michael Bendis and Ed Brubaker's Daredevil and i was so engrossed in it and made me love this character.
great pick! that series was all so peak :)
Daredevil is just the coolest!
There is a good reason he is one of my top favorite Marvel super heroes he is not your typical formulaic superhero
definitely great pick :)
Daredevil and spiderman are the best superheros
I appreciate you talking about your faith, because im christian and thats what connects with me and matt not having any super powers like spider man. Spider man is my favorite hero but matt is more complex because of his faith. He struggles with if fighting is godly and thats why he doesnt kill even when he can. But he still slips up and feels like god isnt there which i relate to a lot. Daredevil is someone who is as relatable as spider man but is more relatable to me. Even if spider man is my favorite
im really glad that this video was able to connect with you on that, its a topic that for me and others like yourself is incredibly important! Daredevil's unique in that way too, I dont think ive ever seen a hero whose faith is so intertwined with his story than him
Love the video man. Daredevil is an awesome superhero and one of my favorites too.
And the fact he’s got the best superhero show in his arsenal too😮💨thanks for watching tho man :)
Incredible video essay 🎉
thank you so much!! I appreciate that man! :)
I've a huge superman one im working on next
Great vid!
Thank you for that, I really needed it :) and im so glad you enjoyed the video!
Best crossover they ever did with DC was when bull’s-eye wound up in the Batcave
He throws something at Batman, who dodges it
He says no one could dodge my attacks and then Batman knocks him out with a single uppercut
I think we know who would win in a fight
if that's so, then Hush and Deathstroke will have an easy time against Bullseye
Obviously daredevil
Ooh daredevil sign me up this is going to be really awesome and badass
I hope you enjoyed :)
@ 😎
Spidey v Kraven? Awesome. Spidey and Venom teamup? Sweet. Another three spidey team up? Sure. Solo spidey adventure? 👍🏻. Spidey + FF? I love it. But Spidey and Daredevil? I can’t even said I’d bust, I already did as soon as I thought of typing this message…
oh dont even get me started bro, imagine spider-man 4 with tom holland Charlie cox and Vincent d'onofrio, I would ascend beyond the earth
Daredevil has some of the best runs in all of Marvel and all the characters feel real
Matt tries his best but he makes mistakes, he does all he can to help but someone always ends up punished, be it Matt himself like in Born Again or someone like Heather where DD's actions ruin and end her life
I take the piss out of his bad guys like Matador or Death's Head but characters like Gladiator, Elektra and Fisk more than make up for it
When Daredevil books are bad, they're still quite good, and when they're good, they're incredible
The way he’s such a consistent character makes him all the more better too, he doesn’t have to deal with the shit spidey does where the writers just want to screw him over constantly for no reason, the writers all seem to actually give a shit. It’s an aspect of the books that make DD’s comics so bloody good!
Enjoyed this video a lot! Newly subscribed, with thanks 🙏🏾
That’s awesome man thank you so much! :)
Yes yes yes thank you great job
Great analysis of one of the greatest comic characters, and I love the enthusiasm you have while speaking 🫡
Thank you so much :) I’m really glad you liked the video it took me ages to put it all together but I’m really happy with how it turned out!
Amazing character one of my Top 10 favorite Marvel Heroes
@@Cyborg_Ninja_13 Anyone who fights the Stilt-Man deserves a top spot!
I wasn't famaliar With daredevil But im happy to see this video and well he was cool to me But now I have a respect for him
To me spidey gives this feeling that no matter what Is You should stop to fight back and try again
AND see that daredevil have this idea too just makes me more happy About this character
Great video Man from a big daredevil fan
A wonder full speach
AND im happy to be a daredevil fan after this video
SOON i start to see the Show and even that 2003 Movie ( I just saw the ending part of it)
im glad I was able to have that effect espically for a character as amazing as daredevil!!
thank you for all the kind words :) and if I may suggest, if youre going to see the movie, watch the directors cut of daredevil 2003
@@mnstash sure sure
I heard that it's the better version of it
This was dope 👹
Thanks man :)
The man with justice
thats great man which has been your favourite run so far? :)
My favorite super hero since I was 5. I’m 27 now, when he got his own show I was so happy. Hell as a kid I loved the awful Ben Affleck movie.
Daredevil is simply amazing man!!
I actually found the directors cut of his movie to be pretty decent :)
I haven’t seen that. I’ll definitely look to watch it soon 😮
I didn't read the comics but i will now
Definitely worth it man, you can start with the Frank miller man without fear story then his actual original run if you wanted to!
great, great character.
I couldn’t agree more!
Great character
Ann Nocenti had a great run too
Her Typhoid Mary stuff was great! The ending part for me at least lost its way a little, which part was your favourite?
Great video but I think you should of mentioned his religion a little bit more as its arguably the biggest part of his character
I get that, maybe I should've done a whole section for it instead of blending it into the personal part of the video
I only watch the show and only read chip zdarsky run and his current run. I like how he’s religious beliefs is a big part of his character it’s something that we don’t see a lot of form other characters
oh man you defo need to read the frank miller stuff, its like THE daredevil run its so good :)
For sure I heard good things about it
Daredevil is my favorite Marvel superhero after Hulk, Spider-Man and Captain America, although I haven't read as much comics as I have with Hulk and Spider-Man. But from what I read, I enjoyed more aside from Born Again and Man Without Fear Ed Brubaker run and Andy Diggle run. Diggle unfortunately couldn't do a lot because after seven issues he had to go straight to a crossover story, but what he did before that was interesting.
the best part about his books imo say since the Kevin smith run is that hes super consistent so if like you said haven't read much you still get the perfect idea of who he is as a character, a thing which I really love about the comics :)
im considering to read some more hulk comics (ill go in release date order as per) but is there any runs I should look forward too?
@mnstash oh there's plenty of great stuff. The first six issues, Bill Mantlo (this is where his traumatic childhood is brought up), Peter David, Paul Jenkins, Bruce Jones, Greg Pak featuring a powerless Bruce Banner and his son Skaar. A lot of people enjoyed Al Ewing run as well, but I'm not fond of it because it overcomplicated Hulk's mythology.
I can't wait to dive into his world soon man, I did give his current run a try when it was first coming out but I lost interest as I realised that teenage girl was gonna be a main character
thank you for the suggestions too :)
hopefully we get DD in marvel rivals
That would be sick as! We need him in a game for once
great video, I think zdarsky’s run is a bit overrated tho it’s behind bendis waid miller and nocenti
That’s fair :) the Bendis run is God tier, especially with Alex maleev’s pencils!
Loved Daredevil since the Netflix
Show and started reading The Man without Fear. Do you recommend the chip zdarsky omnibus?
its an amazing story, im not sure if I'd use it as a starting point, I'd save that for frank millers work, like man without fear, then his main two runs, the Kevin smith run, bendis' run etc!
I cant believe netflix canceled this show....
I think it was more so disneys fault, at the very least the rewrites for daredevil born again have made it into a season 4 for the show I believe
After this video, you have gained a new sub. Your videos are amazing in quality and execution, please continue to upload more exceptional content brother 🫱🏿🫲🏼 going to binge the rest of your channel tonight! 💪🏿😁
That means a lot to me man thank you so much :) I only hope to continue on and manage to keep improving either each new video!
28:37 but hes blind tho
some might see his radar sense makes him see better than us🤨
2:12 what's the song name?
th-cam.com/video/kpsRfJjlln8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JaySoundz
this is the link for the theme!
correct me on this but didnt karen become a corn star or something, im actually curious
Yes she did! Its explained during born again, then she became an advocate in trying to protect women from that sort of thing in the 90s I believe
@@mnstash yo comics in that era im coming to believe were just on another plane
there were definitely more wilder stories back then but low-key majority were better imo
How do you not have 100k subs?
I wish I did😅maybe one day :)
Daredevil is the best Marvel character, imo.
That’s very valid man!
song? 2:10
its a batman fan theme I found! its by
Jay Soundz
Matthew
Murdock
Bullseye is a good antagonist, but his skills are better suited for being a Hawkeye villain than a Daredevil villain.
That would be an amazing fight! Have they fought in like dark avengers before I can’t remember?
@ I can’t remember either. I do know that the only time hawkeye has ever missed is because Natasha shot the string of his bow mid shot. She tried that with bullseye later and he still hit his target.
@@shadowanderson2004clit😂
You’ll have a hard time finding a bad daredevil comic. Hell of a character.
Hes probably the most consistent characters ever made, I can only think of very few eras that were considered pretty bad
The rest are all peak
alex lennen? 😂 good video though
Ive never actually watched his videos😅
@@mnstashnot implying nothing ur voice is just so familiar
@@kntgaf oh fr? ill give him a watch then :)
I was never into dardevil Its kinda dumb he's blind but not actually blind like sonar.
Interesting I thought that his blindness/radar sense was one of his coolest aspects
Zdarskys run has a really great opening but after devils reign it falls off for me. And the recent run is really boring
This gets boring! You spout too many and repetitive points by the end, starting at 21:30. You already gave the similar points earlier at that point
Sorry you didn’t like it, I put a lot of effort into this video and I’ll try to do better next time
Too bad Daredevil Born Again is just going to butcher the character, as if his treatment in She-Hulk and Echo weren't bad enough.
Are you really that much untrusting of Disney? (Can't blame you tho.)
@Cyborg_Ninja_13 Why, yes I am!
To be honest, they haven't given me a reason to trust them.
@@mnstash You poor, naive soul...
