This scheme has significantly weakened the armed forces, this shameless govt was wanting to give only 20k/month to the Agniveers, but the army chief strongly revolted against this and made it to 30K, this govt wants to make Agniveers the security guards at BJP office, Agniveers should never forget the statement of Kailash vijayvargiya and should listen what he said that showed his mentality towards these Agniveers, this govt needs to go

I am a agniveer and i know about this scheme very there is no allowance like DA , HRA etc for agniveer they are not getting the permanent transfer claim also and they are treated like a contractual labour.

The point to address is when parmanent recruciertment was their there was proper tenuer of training it was about 24 months but now in this schem it is reduced to 12 to 15 months ,and it also feels like labour when you get 21 k ,and get to know that previously it was 35 k..as thier doing same duties .

I believe if armed forced accept NPS then the question of Agniveer would not come on first place. There would be no burden of pension on Armed forced budget .

@@sandip870 Or even better, there should have been EPF like scheme. NPS and EPF are different in the sense that in EPF, there is no such thing as fund manager to manage the funds, whereas in NPS, we have fund managers to manage pension. In EPF, there is 12% contribution from employee's basic salary and the same figure matched by the employer, and no such thing as a fund manager.

The main problem that our government and defence forces are facing is the shortage of funds for purchasing and developing new technologies and equipments for the armed forces. To solve this problem our govt. came up with this scheme as a major part of defence budget goes into salaries and pensions.
And one more thing that the structure and functioning of our defence forces are based on the model of britishers and all of you can see and observe the scenario going on.

Leaders may have differences of opinions. All are professionals and expertise in their respective field. The aim of implementation is based on various reasons, not just as a single reason. The best suits based on government policies and their implications in military operations.

8:36 As what mentioned by our Former Army Chief honourable Shri M. M Narvane. , That retaining 75% of the Army men only was the best idea. Because I've seen in Gwalior that many of the Air men ,are usually in technical field. So it'd be wiser if we glance over the Scheme if possible. When we compared between Agnipath scheme and regular soldier's Agnipath scheme are facing alot like less service, less salary, less holiday but they are doing more than what the regular army are doing, more work less salary.
It's better to remove the scheme because Agniveer Soldiers may be increased in suicide cases because they are in danger like some can't complete their studies.

my simple request to Modi govt. is that kindly stop interfering in the defence matters. Indian Army is professional and knows how to manage its soldiers from recruitment to retirement with funds. Kindly pay attention where you actually have to, in the states like Manipur and east India developments, increasing crimes rates states like UP and Bihar, increasing hate between Hindus and Muslims and on stopping corruption practices in your own home state Gujarat.
After taking this dicision by government I had left my preparation to join defence force 😥

Agniveer under Agnipath scheme
Recruitment of the youths to induct them as soldiers in the Indian military as 'Agniveer under Agnipath scheme' is quite appreciated. Unlike Israel and some other countries, our democracy is very liberal. We cannot have a law to force every youth to compulsorily join the military even for two years and we cannot take the risk of allowing someone to keep his private army to be utilised by our country at the time of actual wars or war like confrontations.
So, in my opinion such a scheme was necessary to augment the military man - power whenever such hostile conditions are demanded due to shortage of military man - power.
Whenever needed, Agniveers can be recalled and can be again deployed in the military services after imparting them a short refresher course.
Simultaneously we also know that every youth is an important asset of our country. The youths are the future power of our nation. Therefore I consider that Agniveers, who served our nation as protectors of the honour of our country when they were in the peak of their vigour and vitality, are discharged after four years of service, leaving them on their own mercy without any benefits of ex service men such as pension etc, cannot be at all justified.
However more, the best of the best military technology is acquired, we still need soldiers. This is evident from the ongoing Russia - Ukraine war that even the most powerful country, Russia, in terms of technology of military hardware is suffering from the shortage of military manpower.
Our youths are our most important assets. we cannot waste them out as such.
Govt must bring such a scheme through which their qualities and vigour are utilised even after their military service are over.
I have such a scheme which is submitted herewith for the consideration of the government. This scheme is based solely on my views which is as under: -
1. After enrollment of Agniveers they should undergo:
a. Six months' military training
b. Six months' deployment.
c. Six months' study in military colleges where they would be able to undergo a graduation course.
d. Fifteen days' leave
e. Five days' refresher training after joining from leave
d. Repeated all as above against b. to e.
The alternate batches should also undergo the same except that their first deployment should be for one year with leave of fifteen days after every six months. Rest everything is the same. This should be done to ensure that an instantaneously required number of Agniveers are available for deployment.
By the time they are discharged after four years, their graduation will also be completed.
I've purposely mentioned here 'military colleges' because I think these colleges should be opened in every state which should be recognised by the competent government authorities and should also come under the UGC.
Military Colleges:
The curriculum should be made in such a manner that they also get physical military training besides their studies.
Financial Effect for Opening the Military Colleges
The amount may be in thousands of crores, the expenses thereof may be augmented in the following manner: -
1. 50% to be borne by the State governments
2. 50% to be borne by the Central government out of which 50% by the Home ministry and 50% by the Defence ministry.
It may please be noted that no state government can deny it, if they do so, then their negative image will go to the public which are:
1. This government only recovers the taxes from the public but is reluctant to serve them well.
2. This government doesn't want the patriot, disciplined, hardworking and honest soldiers to serve their government and the society after their military service.
Agniveers should get age relaxation for five years after their military service in any competitive exams, jobs, advance studies, etc.
Moreover, some reservations which may be 20%, should be given to them in the vacancy of central and state para military forces' jobs.
For example, in UP their services can be utilised in PAC.
Please make elaborate video on percentage of expenditure on salary and pension out of defence budget. Please don't give vague statement on salary and pension of defence personnel.
It was launch because there are many officers who are getting bribe to recruit Javaans. There many private institutes which are affecting recrements process.
