The biggest irony with the Military reform is actually the top brasses who share their recommendations for the army to the policy makers. Considering these top generals have became generals because of their political favourism. These fav. generals(90% of them) do not have combat experience neither they know the tactical aspects of any military ops. Noww what Maj Avinash has pointed out that we have sooo much discrepancy in the weapon systems is absolutely right because these buggers (netas and chatukars) want to project their image as a person who's serious about national security with any hint of what an efficient expenditure will be which will actually favour the organisation (Army). Same with railways also we need trains like vande bharat but we need upgrade in existing trains and system even more. Why we have to travel with a waiting ticket? Reform in booking system and security in railways is badly due.

Every person working in Army, Navy and Airforce are taking retirement and don't want to extend their serving because of Agniveer. The new agniveers aren't following orders, they are not following routines, most of the works have to be done by old officers/soldiers.
Airmen working on aircraft can't be competent in years to do technical work. He needs at least four year for basic training and courses of that particular aircraft,then only he will be able to do 1st and 2nd line of servicing, forget about 3rd and 4th line of servicing

At 1:25 :00 Guest is not aware of the fact that Paramiltary and central/state govt. services has no provision of pension from 2005 onward. Though we have pension for Legislators.
Im very clear. Either we get rid of the pensions of all the retired officers above Lieutenant roles or we keep the Agniveer. It can't be both ways. The more higher the rank, the more bigger a liability the soldier becomes to the country. Sooner people realize this, better. There's nothing patriotic about poverty.

All these officers I mentioned have to create R&D worth their pensions annually and will get tax benefits for the same. One thing i totally disagree with major Avinash Sahani, i have lived out of India for more than 6 years now, travelled many countries and still living in USA. i have always received lot of respect and honour in every place i have been to whether it is an Embassy or International Airport custom. People in abroad respect Indians a lot.
They respect our culture and intellect..but world security council is a total different area.. think of it as a CV you are presenting to a top tier company.. they will ask your work experience.. here also it's works in the same manner.. imagine if we had worked with DEVGRU during the Abottabaad raid bcz we share border with Pakistan it would have been a excellent addition in our SF mission profile.. other countries would have welcomed us with open hands in the sit..

@1:01:09 Seal team is Tier 2 unit, only Seal Team Six aka DEVGRU is Tier 1. Seals, 75th Ranger Regiment are Tier 2, including Green berets. He said the right in that India doesn't have Tier classes like the US have. Green berets spend 2 yrs to get trained, generally, their troops were from E5 pay grade, not fresh meat. @ 1:06:56 82nd and 101st Airborne are Tier 3, not Tier 2 as said by Major. In the US Army, each infantry personnel is Airborne qualified. Delta or Devgru do cross-training & accept operators from each other for ops, but I didn't know Delta is taking people from SEAL gratuating from BUDS. They are two different branches. After Geronimo, there is animosity between Devgru & Delta, because JSOC commander chooses Devgru instead Delta. Originally it was Delta mission.
I been in both military, First time i have seen any officer say the right things about Indian Armed Forces equipment. Now as a civilian, I have many times more sophisticated equipment than an Indian SF unit.

Every person working in Army, Navy and Airforce are taking retirement and don't want to extend their serving because of Agniveer. The new agniveers aren't following orders, they are not following routines, most of the works have to be done by old officers/soldiers.
In four years agnibeer will be busy in enhancing their education, not bothering for service work
Airmen working on aircraft can't be competent in years to do technical work. He needs at least four year for basic training and courses of that particular aircraft,then only he will be able to do 1st and 2nd line of servicing, forget about 3rd and 4th line of servicing

He is truly a master of his craft and a very learned fellow, and i really appreciate that he has taken the liberty to answer your questions in the most professional manner (even though you're questions were a bit vague from 58:42, you could've extracted a lot more of valuable knowledge from him if your questions were a bit more technically directed). I really wish that you ask better questions from Army personnel from this point onwards, now that I've seen the capability that someone from Indian SF is also capable of giving such exclusive knowledge and statements. Im very clear. Either we get rid of the pensions of all the retired officers above Lieutenant roles or we keep the Agniveer. It can't be both ways. All these officers I mentioned have to create R&D worth their pensions annually and will get tax benefits for the same. If not I rather think it would be wise to sell kidneys of people like you to pay their pensions. These people don't have any way to save lives so they sacrifice their lives. As in Army folks lack value for their own lives. If they did, they would actually focus on R&D and trying to reduce human involvement on ground. The problem is that your soldiers can't have pensions where they are similar to provident fund. Rather they want subsided lives. Simple words, Goli tum Khao kyunki kuch aur ata nahi aur paise bhare hum. This is no better than mercenaries. It's like you want to make India like Prussia.

One thing i totally disagree with major Avinash Sahani, i have lived out of India for more than 6 years now, travelled many countries and still living in USA.
i have always received lot of respect and honour in every place i have been to whether it is an Embassy or International Airport custom. People in abroad respect Indians a lot.
They respect our culture and intellect..but world security council is a total different area.. think of it as a CV you are presenting to a top tier company.. they will ask your work experience.. here also it's works in the same manner.. imagine if we had worked with DEVGRU during the Abottabaad raid bcz we share border with Pakistan it would have been a excellent addition in our SF mission profile.. other countries would have welcomed us with open hands in the sit..

Sir, Canada has Arctic borders with Russia. Please look up on the Arctic Regiment, one of the best winter fighting machine and technology. Entire Northern defence strategy of US is based on Canadian military.
@1:01:09 Seal team is Tier 2 unit, only Seal Team Six aka DEVGRU is Tier 1. Seals, 75th Ranger Regiment are Tier 2, including Green berets. He said the right in that India doesn't have Tier classes like the US have. Green berets spend 2 yrs to get trained, generally, their troops were from E5 pay grade, not fresh meat.
@ 1:06:56 82nd and 101st Airborne are Tier 3, not Tier 2 as said by Major.
In the US Army, each infantry personnel is Airborne qualified.
Delta or Devgru do cross-training & accept operators from each other for ops, but I didn't know Delta is taking people from SEAL gratuating from BUDS. They are two different branches. After Geronimo, there is animosity between Devgru & Delta, because JSOC commander chooses Devgru instead Delta. Originally it was Delta mission.
I been in both military, First time i have seen any officer say the right things about Indian Armed Forces equipment. Now as a civilian, I have many times more sophisticated equipment than an Indian SF unit.
