  • My followers requested I quilt a Mandala... so here it is! This was fun to try! Omni Thread. Warm n White Batting. Handi Quilter half circle ruler set. I don't have a lot of experience with rulers, so it was slow going. I had to add some feathers in there too! Enjoy!

    This is stunning. You commented on going slow almost like it was an apology. The speed with which you went gave each of us time to absorb what you were doing. Thank you!

    Truly your ability to maintain your aspect ratio visually without marking is a gift. I would have marked the bejebas out of it and struggled to maintain it still. Lovely mandala design. The matchsticking really added the perfect touch.

    Ruler work is slow! I don’t think it matters much how much you use them. This is gorgeous! It is so nice to see that such an accomplished quilter still messes around having fun creating!❤ 10:36

    You say you don’t work with rulers much but you seem to be a pro with these rulers. I struggle using circle rulers. What do you use to keep them from slipping??

    • @adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719
      @adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ruler base helps so much. The rulers I'm using are textured on the back a bit👍

    This is so beautiful. I appreciate the real-time quilting, and especially showing what real-time with rulers looks like. I love quilting with rulers but I am not speedy; I think it just takes time to be accurate. Love the mandala; what will you do with this beautiful piece of art you are making?

    • @adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719
      @adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! It's just a practice piece. I had more blank space to fill up after teaching my feather course. So I'm just having fun❤️
