You have inspired me to give it a try. I do have some rulers to play with, but never considered making my own design

Beautiful! I can't wait to try these new techniques! Just working on my first quilt on new Moxie! Learning to navigate rulers. Too much fun!

Hi there, I’ve been debating on getting the Moxie. How do you like it?

@@LindaHuongDillon It's been a challenge but gratifying. I tried FMQ on my domestic and just couldn't get the hang of it. Or local dealer had a Moxie set up and I tried it. It was so much easier to quilt than FMQ. I admit, I'm used to using a frame as I've always quilted by hand, so I think that made the difference. I like it! Just finished my 1st quilt and I'm hooked. Price wise, it's very doable. There are lots of videos to watch and learn from. I recommend it 😊 you must let me know what you decide!

@@mari-annstumblingbear174 Thanks so much for your response! I have a Juki which I love for piecing but I don’t enjoy wrestling a quilt to quilt it. 😓 I’ve been back and forth with the moxie decision. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@LindaHuongDillon Agreed! I have a Juki too! I love the 18 inch throat, but cannot for the life of me, FMQ with it! Good luck with your decision 😊

thanks for the lessons! what's the real name and brand of the rotating ruler/compass/protractor "helicopter thingy"? I've been trying to find it by all different kinds of names and still no luck.
