2023 was a very hard year for me. January 2018, I started 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation for lung cancer. The treatment made me so sick that I could hardly walk for 2 years. I just started to come good and covid hit and Victoria Australia had the most lockdowns of anywhere. Late 2020 I was told that I'm cancer free. July 2021 I was told (after another standard ct scan) that I know have bowel cancer. An operation and a stoma bag fitted, because of covid I had the stoma bag for 9 months instead of the usual 12 weeks. Bowel cancer all clear again. So I beat cancer twice. July 2022 a routine ct scan showed I had 5 new small tumours in my lung. Doctors removed one spot and tests showed it was the original cancer had come back. Doctors didn't want to do more chemotherapy because of how sick it made me last time. No radiation because I had multiple spots in my lung. I was told we will just monitor the growth rate and see what happens. In April 2023 I went and saw the radiation doctor that treated me originally. He wanted to do more radiation straight away. May 2023 we did 9 days of radiation on 2 of the spots, then had a 3 month break. September we did another 9 days of radiation. I'm very tired and weak with fatigue now that I'm struggling to do anything. So I withdrew all my superannuation and bought a 4x4 SLWB Toyota Hiace and it will be delivered 3 days after Christmas. I had another ct scan a few weeks ago and saw my Radiologist last week. He said there is no new spots in my lungs and the 4 spots he treated have not grown and seem to be inactive. I hope to get some level of strength and fitness back so I can start to build out my van. 6 years of cancer treatment has been very hard. This is why people like you two are so important to me. I'm 60 years old and you inspire me. I partly live my life by watching people like you live and enjoying life. Don't let the bad days ruin the good days. Hot weather or rainy weather is temporary. Our health and mental state are permanent and very fragile. Keep doing what you do and keep loving and respecting each other as you do ❤
A sad year for me 2023 losing my mum in July, Ending with a happier event of my retirement long awaited. Life throws things at us and sometimes it’s hard to look forward. As humans we are resilient and often with the help of friends family and sometimes stranger we can dig deep and find the will to overcome and move forward. Your videos are often filled with joy and you demonstrate how to be resilient and how to make the best of life. As a couple you gel well and I love the chemistry between you. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and lots of exciting adventures in 2024. Stay safe 🎄💕
Hi ya Philly and Keely I had to learn to walk and talk again all through 2023 still in rehab , family is everything. From June 2022 until December 2022 was the hardest time . Do things when you’re able . Merry Christmas and Happy New year. 🎄🧑🎄🎅🌺🥰❤️
That's a beautiful sentiment Barry ❤️ sounds like it's definitely been a tough time for you, but glad to hear rehab is coming along 💪 we always appreciate your comments here, and knowing this has all been going on behind the scenes is nuts, so grateful for you sharing with us ❤️ merry Christmas 🎄
Brilliant video . thank you so much for sharing you beautiful couple. Myself, now the I am 63 on march I would say that spending time with family is the most important thing ❤ life goes so quick . ❤
As usual, whatever you guys do is inspiring, and this vlog was brilliantly thought-provoking. My whole life has been one great challenge, and 2023 was no different. My partner and I ran off to Gretna Green and got married, plucking two strangers from the street as our witnesses. We are both retired and live full-time in our separate motorhomes, which many people find difficult to understand, so it's funny watching and hearing their reactions to that. I have been traveling solo for many years, so I am definitely experiencing ebbs and flows around sharing my time/decisions etc. with someone else. Communication, kindness, mindfulness, being authentic, keeping things right-sized, and listening are key, as is having fun whilst navigating all of that. I love you guys and thank you for keeping me so informed and entertained throughout 2023. Wishing you health, happiness, and blessings for 2024. 💓🙏
Firstly you two, wishing you da bestest Xmas ever. 🎄🎅❤ Just want to say you brought much needed love and laughter into my life through quite a tough time. One cannot express how grateful I am. You kids have great souls and I really hope that 2024 brings you many new adventures and happy moments. 💕🙏💕
I related so much to what you are going through. Trying to feel okay about slowing down while still trying to grow is so challenging while our bodies are getting older quickly. This was a special Christmas moment. Thank you ❤
Advice.. you tube is your job. You need to take vacation time. So plan in periods of vacation where you don't vlog and get to donall those things you can't do in van life. Merry Christmas and happy new year from Wales. 2023 for me my word is rebirth. I have redesigned my job and life to fit better with my restricted mobility pushing my boundaries whenever I can.
I can relate to slowing down when you're travelling. I like the phrase ' let the dust settle', and I live and travel in Australia. I love that you guys are so open about your lives. Thank you
Happy New Year to you both. You have brought me much laughter and entertainment this year and I’m looking forward to more next year. Do what feels right to you both, try not to let what you think you “have to” do decide for you. Elf is the greatest Christmas movie and I think “brave” (be brave?) is a great word for the new year. ❤
This was a great idea! Love the ebb! 😊 2023 was ‘diverse’ for me. I am based in Wales but spent most of it in Scotland and 6 weeks in Peru. I am so thankful for SO much! It’s been a challenge in many ways but… your videos are so uplifting. I wish to conquer my mindset around abundance and lose all programming around this. 👏🏼Films… The Holiday is a favourite of mine, and last Christmas 💯 Happy Christmas 🎊🌟🎊💞
Keely and Philly, I love you guys ❤ What I take out of all your questions is we all need to slow down just a little, take a deep breath and relax. Make time to speak to who ever, its so important to talk and express our feelings. I wish you guys and fellow followers a happy Christmas and a peaceful New year From Si👍🐸
Hi Philly and Keely. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you both. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with us over the last year. You seem such a fun and supportive couple. Hope you get to do more of the things you love in 2024. Favourite Christmas movie had to be Elf. Sending you hugs 🤗 🥰 Take care. Nick
Merry Christmas 🎄, kiddos!! This video was thought provoking. When Keely said, 7:12 “Bravery comes off the back of fear,” it reminded me of what I say in my head when I have a difficult task to do … “Brave not perfect.” Trying to conquer a new or scary task and trying to do it perfectly can be paralyzing. Remembering it doesn’t have to be perfect and digging deep for the bravery to just start helps me be more productive. My one word for 2023 is “embrace.” I have embraced getting out of my head more and doing things to help others. Normally I’m not much of a joiner but this year I joined a group of ladies whose focus is supporting our kids in the military as well as supporting the veterans in our community. It has shown me that being a part of something bigger and more important than myself makes my life much more meaningful. Going forward in 2024 my word is intention. I want to thoughtfully and intentionally do things to improve the quality of my life. I hope you both have a lovely Christmas 🎄 even though you won’t be with your families. I can’t be with mine either. My son is in the army and the rest of my family lives far away. Thank you for sharing your lives and adventures with all of us. You always manage to put on a brave face and step out there to entertain us. There must be days you just want to toss the camera and stay in bed but you get up and go adventuring for us. Looking forward to seeing your 2024. Safe travels 🌴
Wow what a beautiful message and all so true, I resonated alot with all of this. I think I might take that word intention along with us into 2024. Sending you lots of love ❤️🎄 have a brill Christmas, take it as a time of rest
@@phillyandkeely my Thanksgiving (the last Thursday in November) was a LOT LOT of work cooking a BIG meal all day that we (only two of us) finished eating in about 30 minutes. I learned that it isn’t the food (traditional recipes) that matters but the interaction and relationship that really matters (a good friend of 23 years). I’ve learned this lesson before but it’s funny how sometimes we have to learn lessons over and over 🙄😆. So for Christmas 🎄 the dinner will be small. The dessert will be purchased not made. The gifts will be small but thoughtful. I am intentionally making this Christmas 🎄 more enjoyable and not as much work. Your resilience after all you’ve been through with the fire, Martha being a little temperamental and finding good vegan food gives me an example of what it looks like to persevere and move forward. Would love to know what you’re doing for Christmas 🎅🏻. I’m bad at checking email so I often miss your extras on Patreon 😆. Love ❤️ back to the both of you and wishes for a lovely Christmas (but that Australia heat 🥵). Take care 🤗
We are currently parked by a beach doing absolutely nothing 🤣ate a McDonald's for breakfast lmao. Doesn't feel like Christmas at all, but next year I will be all out Christmas vibes to make up for it
@@phillyandkeely Merry Christmas 🎄 kiddos!! Sitting by a beach and having a down day might just be what you need! Enjoy each others’ company and the uniqueness of your situation. You’ll probably never spend another Christmas 🎄 on a beach in Australia. Never pass up the opportunity for a swim! ☺️ I’m driving 85 miles today to have Christmas dinner with an old friend whose health isn’t the best. Not looking forward to the drive there and back (LA freeways suck out loud!) but the visit will be nice.
I love that your word is intention for 2024. Thats something I have been working on the past 2 months. It's so hard to not go through life unconsciously. ❤ something that helps me is everymorning when I wake up I spend 10 mins thinking about the sort of person I want to be that day and how I want to behave and think and I reflect on the previous day and think about what I can do better next time. It's really helping me to stay conscious and intentional. 🎉😊
Happy Christmas GUYYSSSSS. 2023 has been personally my worst year to date. Been reflecting myself and your folks being from where I am has connected that closeness ever more so . Truely inspiring. Also I always feel the stresses and woes we all don't see on camera each Sunday and for that I commend and express alot of feelings towards. Wishing yourselves and the philly Keely community a happy Christmas and wonderful New year ❤
Thanks so much Zach, appreciate your openness 🙏 sorry to hear 2023 has been such a tough year for you! We are both sending love and light into 2024 with you and hope it is a time of healing from 2023 🙏❤️🕯️happy Christmas 🎄
2023 was exhausting. Restructure at work, my husband had 2 heart surgeries, my mother also had a health scare, my MIL and FIL have been in and out of hospital. I am tired! Have a wonderful Christmas and travel safe.
Lisa that definitely sounds like an exhausting and compounding year, sometimes it feels like the universe throws it all at us at once. Hopefully 2024 is a year of recovery for you all ❤️🙏
Family is so important. You think family is going to be there for ever. But to a loss of young granddaughter due to a car accident, it makes you think about family more and more. As time on earth is not that long. Big merry christmas to both of you.
Thanks Heather, we have also lost immediate family, so know time with them is precious as not a moment in life is guaranteed ❤️ sorry to hear about your granddaughter, what a tragic loss, sending love
Thank you. I have been enjoying your show since I found it three days ago. So wonderful to watch a show that I don’t have to cut off because of bad language. Thank you for such an enjoyable show.
2023 for me was empowering… at 57 I built a camper with my son: took off for 10 weeks to the Portuguese coast with my dog solo van travel - it was enlightening, empowering and soulful. Flip side is since coming home, the stark contrast of being back was difficult. Thoroughly enjoyed your honesty in this video - & as ever love you guys. Keely - taking time to “be still” was one of my positive outcomes from my travels. Just stop - turn off all your phones/cameras and embrace stillness and simplicity : it’s a magical feeling..
Thanks for sharing that with us Patricia ❤️❤️ sounds very empowering indeed. Yeah stillness is definitely something I consciously need to make time for
100% take the time YOU need for you and your families! we'll be here!! Yes, you need ebb to your flow. I think 2023 was a bit of a rebirth, finding ourselves again and learning to live with the new normal. Fav Christmas movie?? Pretty Woman. All the Best in the New Year!! Never worry, we'll be here!!!!
Q2: Moments or lessons I am most grateful for in 2023 are the times that I felt so alone that I reached out and people were aready waiting for me to be there for me. Something that I didn't expect. My sister and her daughtere have been fantastic. And it warms my heart. And not only that, my online friends have been very patient with me, accepting me for who and how I am. It's been eye opening, especially when I felt so alone in tough moments at the spike of my health issues that I didn't think that was possible. It taught me to be open when needed, and reach out for help. Something I've never done before, and I am grateful for them, and to learn that this is possible.
I think we all underestimate how good the people we love in our life can be to us, I'm so happy to hear they were supportive. I'm glad you reached out, many wouldn't be so brave ❤️
Merry Christmas guys. You've become my favorite YT channel. I love your travel content but also love you both, it's like having two really cool, adventuring friends!! Would be great to see more of your everyday hobbies too, doesn't just need to be breathtaking drone shots and incredible places all the time. Thanks so much for sharing your lives.
Defo treasure your loved ones..my mother in law passed away last week ..it’s just so raw but we have a little gorgeous grandson that brightens our days and helps..hope u have a great Christmas and a happy new year xx
Aaahhh,.., the Ebs and Flos!!.., I'm with you on that.,.. and honestly a great thing to focus on moving forward. Love you two! Love your hearts!... Merry Christmas! Happy, Healthy, Journeyful New Year to you! And please - take random weeks! Guilt free!! Drum, Climb, Craft!
My boyfriend and I started watching your videos in 2023 and have really enjoyed following you since Scotland. We think you're hilarious and we are planning our own adventure in 2024 for three months! Thanks for sharing your awesome lives, Lizzie and Thom xx
Great and very thaughtful video. I am 74 and for many years I put off the big adventures till I retired. Luckily following my son's sporting career took us all over the world and we saw many places on our "bucket list". Good job because I retited 3 year s ago, plentty of money, no debts but health issues are limiting our ability to travel and be adventurous. My advice is therefore do things while you can and don't put them off till you retire. 2023 saw my wife of 51 yearsi n hospital for 3 weeks at the start of the year and I thought maybe I'd lost her, then early December I was in hospital with a serious chest infection. Both OK now but never take each other for granted
This made me so emotional to read, the fact that 2023 was bookended with both of you not well really does make you appreciate every moment you have with eachother. Sending you and your wife lots of love, cherish every moment together ❤️
2023 was a great year, we did our 1st trip to Europe in the van 6wks Belgium, France and Spain. Adventurous is my descriptive word. Favourite Christmas movies Diehard and Home alone. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you both
Hey guys where are you spending or spent Christmas……great to see you both happy & healthy! Philly make time 2024 to do the things you miss! Keely you are always so cheerful & no doubt creative! Take care & travel safely BTW go to Moonee Beach near Coffs Harbour it’s beautiful! 💜💙
Much love and happiness to you both. You have each other for the holidays that is enough, together you are great. Have a very Merry Christmas and a beautiful start to the New Year. Blessings. I am grateful every day for th many blessings in my life, its not easy but i am blessed.
Lots of T-shirt ideas in this as well as “Let the dust settle”. “You need some ebb to your flow”, “Brutal & Fun”, “Enjoy the Ebbs” 😅 Best wishes for 2024!
Wow, you had some very thought provoking questions there! 🙃🤔 I'll get back to you on a lot of them, apart from one of my favourite Christmas movies is Christmas with the Krankies! Lol 😂
I hope you had a good Christmas in Aus you two! My 2023 has been pretty epic. At the beginning of the year me and my partner quit our jobs and packed up our life to travel for the year. I was so apprehensive to begin with, but so happy we went for it. I totally get that feeling of creating quality time for family and friends. I have been living in Canada for the last 5 years and every time I visit the UK I feel rushed and stressed trying to see everyone because I don’t organise in advance, so that’s my intention for next year too! Looking forward to being inspired with more of your travels. All the best!
Yep spot on, watching this on Christmas eve, have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy 2024, Keely make your laugh into a ringtone so you know when happy people are call 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Plans, we're traveling now, and I spent most of the year planning it. Christmas eve stuck in a hotel near Gibraltar, not the plan! Van at the mechanic and won't be fixed for a week, huge bill, also not the plan. But healthy in Spain and with each other. The plan, going with the flow. Love your energy, positivity and honesty. Happy Christmas.
Thanks so much Karen, definitely go with that flow. Enjoy the space while the van is getting fixed, take time to enjoy the surrounding area, in time you will be moving again ❤️ sending lots of love this Christmas 🎄
This was a very refreshing video for me, normally your hyperactivity combined with your accents makes me very jittery and nervous, it was nice to see you as more mature and relaxed people. At a normal talking speed, you make more sense to a non-native English speaking person such as myself. Very merry Christmas and all the best wishes for 2024.🎉
Hi Philly & Keeley..... i loved this video, i've read all the comments here, and some people have had it so hard during 2023..... I am almost 66, almost ready to retire, but this last 12 months has been a journey for me with my mental health after being diagnosed with OCD, but i went through therapy and got medication, and worked so so hard on myself and now i'm much better, but not entirely back to 'normal' yet..... watching your adventures is amazing to me, you are both so brave, but i guess i was brave too when i was your age. Mostly i just love you two people, i love your relationship together and you are my favourite van life channel by far. Good luck for 2024, and much love from Liverpool.
Thankyou so much for your kind words❤️🙏 and for being so open about your year. I hope 2024 is a year you feel the most yourself and I'm sure you will love your retirement, I know my parents do
Oh …. Hit send button toi quick 🤦🏼♀️ I wish both of you a Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year 🎉. All the best. Whether it’s new adventures or relaxing time with loved ones. Do it at your pace. Video or not, I’ll be there 😊.
Have a lovely Christmas. I love watching your videos and you do make me laugh. I am with my family this Christmas. I know I am very lucky to have such a great family. But I love travelling in my van around Europe, quite happy to have that adventure too. You two are lucky to have each other and to get on so well. 2023 was good for us after a difficult 2022. We have been married for 45 years so my one word for the year would be “Unbelievable”!
Just want to say Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you both. Really do whatever makes you happy and take extra time to be with love ones. Love your vlogs and may they continue in 2024.
I love watching you guys your so authentic and genuine, here’s to a fabulous 2024x My favourite Christmas movie is Home Alone as it’s something we as a family can all watch and enjoy. Xxx
Q3: I was most nervous in 2023 when I was very spontanious in the summer and decided that it was time to take the next step in the journey of my life. And thankfully only to find out it comes with struggles and high points. And those choices every time came with a big bill as well to pay. And it was needed, worth it, and a life lesson. It set the tone for me for the next ten years. I have been nervous having to deal with lawyers and notary office and serious legal papers, but this was different. This is where you realise that six months of your life can change your life (for the better).
I'm happy to hear it was for the better ❤️❤️ everything in life worth fighting for takes a fight doesn't it! Those highs balance out the struggles for sure 💪💪
Guys, do what you want to do when you want, don't give yourselves time constraints, it leads to stress and illness, we will follow your adventures whenever they are released. Philly never let go of Keely - "Bravery comes off the back of fear" WTf!!!! she is so wise and crazy fun, you both make me smile so much. Have the best Christmas and a great 2024. 🎄🏴👍🍻 P.s. 'Die Hard' - Classic Christmas movie and 'Love Actually'.
Yep take your time out for yourselves so you come back stronger. You must be missing family being so far away so take some special time and spoil yourselves. Have a great and happy Christmas and thank you both for making our Sundays special too. 2023 and thinking after 30 years we had to rap-in Motorhome life due to age and mobility, we said sod it and bought a van😎👍❤️
To be honest had a few health issues between me and my Hubbie since when covid started ( turned 50 and 2 weeks later first covid lockdown) hasten to add not due to covid ( don’t think 🤔) and since then due to time of life, anxiety. So my word of the year is overwhelming 😢Find crowds of people too much now and like you two like to be out and about in nature when can when it’s quiet ! You don’t know how much you two and another few select TH-camrs have helped with above . Babbling on now , so bid you lovely people a great Christmas and hope 2024 brings you joy ❤x
Wow thanks so much for sharing this Harris ❤️ I think way society lives right now is overwhelming for alot of us, it's all sensory overload at times isn't it, definitely enjoy time in nature, and know that anxiety in this chaotic world is a reflection of the world, and not you, humans weren't meant to live like this, enjoy the slow stillness of nature and the pull close the people you love ❤️🙏🎄 happy Christmas
I just wanted to say on behalf of me and my husband Mark thank you for your entertaining, thoughtful, and informative videos. Stay safe and enjoy Christmas and New Year in Australia and we hope the heat doesn't wear you down too much!
I wish I had watched this before I called you earlier we could have discussed the question#! I am going to think about them before our next call. Loved this. 🎉❤😊 And I love you guys and I can't wait to spend more time together in 2024. Xo
Merry Christmas Philly and Keely from not so sunny Belfast lol...... look forward 2024 sharing your journey. We've just seen It's a wonderful life starring Jimmy Stewart a must watch Christmas event for us continued blessings Barry and Sinead
Some Great questions in there, so important to reflect on the year and take what you have learnt into the next one! Certainly made me think what i could maybe do differently next year. Hope you had a nice Christmas :) Looking forward to the outback videos :)
Happy Christmas to you two legends from Northern Ireland..Your videos have taken me through 2023 so many thanks...one word for me to describe this year would be hope ..getting over a serious foot operation in 2022 I've been able to get out photographing again...keep on producing top quality videos and very best wishes for 2024..from oul Andy in Loughbrickland.
My favourite Christmas movie has got to be the classic Scrooge A Christmas Carol staring Alastair Sim best part of the year, feeling I am a better person, thank you for another great video, merry Christmas and a happy new year to you both 🎄
Merry Christmas to you both. 💑 . Loved the journey so far , so many laughs , looking forward to new adventures in 2024 . Remember have fun . Love to you both xx💕
Merry Christmas you lovely people. Sorry youve had some tough times. I have ablosutely love the way you recpect east other and watch your everyweek. Thankyou for checking up on us. We are defo having mixed feelings about our time here right now, but we got this 💪💪 editting the first outback video today, so looking forward to sharing that with you all on Sunday ❤️🙏
2023 for me has been the worst and the best, my husband of 30 yrs transitioned on 5th January, 2 weeks before our 30th anniversary, in April I going divine inspiration for a quirky cute book for kids and adults, I have written a fair bit of it thought it is growing arms and legs, now my mother took ill and we thought we were losing her but she's recovering well (this in itself was the scariest and best thing) apart from walks with my dog and snuggles with my cat and Teddy this has been my year, it was also the year I found you 2, tysm for your part in my recovery ❤❤❤
Thankyou so much for sharing that all with us Katrina, glad to hear your mother is recovering well ❤️ and enjoy all those animal cuddles, they really are good for the soul
When you are at home, where you live is so lovely. I think everyone would enjoy you just tooting around. Lurgan Park is so beautiful...that could be one video for example...just a thought
Would love love love to see more of your life in northern Ireland! What part of northern Ireland are you from? I went to Mount Lourdes back in the 1970s and I lived in a small town and county Tyrone. I live in Arizona now. Northern Ireland is so beautiful and has so much to explore. I would love to see a tour of Derry and all the history that is there.
Merry Christmas Philly & Keely. Sending much love, and really hope you get to do something nice to celebrate on 25th. Thank you for putting this out on Xmas Eve...you are do dedicated but totally support you taking more time to do what you need to do to live enriched & fulfilled lives- even if that means skipping the videoing to do so. Happy Christmas guyz. X
If I had to pick one Christmas movie as my favorite (of which I have a few) it would be the mid-'80s dark comedy Better Off Dead. Give me a couple extra spaces and I'll throw in Elf, While You Were Sleeping, Scrooged, and Irving Berlin's White Christmas. And while I'm not in the "Die Hard is a Christmas movie" camp, I will totally watch it with youse 'cuz it kicks total ass. 😁 What would I change from the last year? More travel. Coulda been road trips or weekend flights to squeeze them in between work weeks. For you guys, I would love to see you have a reset time back home. Even though we've not met in person (yet! 😁), Mimi and I are very fond of you both. Your adventures are loads of fun to watch, but we also want to see you happy and fulfilled yourselves. What your subscribers and patrons want and what TH-cam wants should follow what youse want. Plus, getting to see Northern Ireland would be great! Lots of love and a Happy Christmas from Seattle!! ❤️❤️✌️😎xx
Thanks so much Aaron ❤️ I also love better off dead! Yes squeeze in those little weekend trips, that sounds like a good idea, book a flight and a rental car and go explore 💪 thanks for your loving words, we appreciate all your support ❤️🎄🙏
Merry Christmas! You two have made me laugh soooo many times this year and I thank you for that. When Keely was tripping and falling in that river? OMG! I needed that. I was diagnosed this year with Multiple Sclerosis. I’m building out my own van and just hope that I can complete it and go on my own adventures. You two have inspired me to keep going when I could’ve just quit and wallowed in my own crap. I’m still dealing with depression but I look forward to your videos and they do bring joy to me and I’m sure lots of other people. Bring on 2024!
Thanks so much for sharing this all with us Joseph ❤️❤️ glad to hear the river brought you some much needed laughter haha 🎄🙏 hope you have a wonderful Christmas
May you both have a brilliant Christmas. Writing this as its now Christmas Day xxx family always come first guys, always. Travel more. To getting our daughter back.(long story) Having my shoulder operation. Different. 6 to do more travelling. Holiday. So I would like to wish you both a Happy New Year. Big hugs guys xxx stay safe xx
Wishing u well n good luck for your future. U deserve a year of peace tranquility n good health.
@@user-jj7pg5xt9x ♥️
Have you looked at the fb Chanel 'Chris beat cancer' a natural remedy to treating cancer
@user-jj7pg5xt9x their chemistry is amazing isn't it. What a beautiful couple ♥️
I'd like to see a video of philly playing drums with items you have in the van. Pots, pans ect
Now that would be a fun challenge!
Hi ya Philly and Keely I had to learn to walk and talk again all through 2023 still in rehab , family is everything. From June 2022 until December 2022 was the hardest time . Do things when you’re able . Merry Christmas and Happy New year. 🎄🧑🎄🎅🌺🥰❤️
Do things when you're able! 🙏🥰
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
100 Hugh ❤️💯🙏
Thanks so much for this lovely message, congratulations, marriage is the best ❤️❤️ hoping for lots of joy and happiness in 2024 for you both
Firstly you two, wishing you da bestest Xmas ever. 🎄🎅❤
Just want to say you brought much needed love and laughter into my life through quite a tough time.
One cannot express how grateful I am. You kids have great souls and I really hope that 2024 brings you many new adventures and happy moments. 💕🙏💕
Thankyou so much ❤️ that fills our heart to hear that. Sending you lots of love into 2024 and hoping for a less tough year for you 🙏🎄 happy Christmas
I related so much to what you are going through. Trying to feel okay about slowing down while still trying to grow is so challenging while our bodies are getting older quickly. This was a special Christmas moment. Thank you ❤
Thanks so much Shelby ❤️ such true words. Sending lots of love, have a brill Christmas 🎄
Advice.. you tube is your job. You need to take vacation time. So plan in periods of vacation where you don't vlog and get to donall those things you can't do in van life. Merry Christmas and happy new year from Wales. 2023 for me my word is rebirth. I have redesigned my job
and life to fit better with my restricted mobility pushing my boundaries whenever I can.
Thanks so much for the advice ❤️🙏 and what a beautiful word to describe 2023! Sending you lots of love into 2024 🎄💪
I can relate to slowing down when you're travelling. I like the phrase ' let the dust settle', and I live and travel in Australia. I love that you guys are so open about your lives. Thank you
Thanks so much Cheryl ❤️ have a brilliant Christmas 🎄🙏 it's definitely different in aus than at home haha
Thanks so much Patti ❤️❤️ glad we've brought you some laughs this year, here's to many more next year!
Merry Xmas to you both, hope you are in a wonderful part of our country celebrating and receiving lots of wonderful xmas gifts!! Cheers & beers
Thanks so much Susan ❤️❤️ happy Christmas to you too 🎄🎄
This was a great idea!
Thanks so much Katy, sounds like an eventful year! And thankyou for your kind words ❤️🎄 happy happy Christmas
Keely and Philly, I love you guys ❤ What I take out of all your questions is we all need to slow down just a little, take a deep breath and relax. Make time to speak to who ever, its so important to talk and express our feelings.
I wish you guys and fellow followers a happy Christmas and a peaceful New year
From Si👍🐸
Thanks so much Si ❤️❤️ happy happy Christmas to you too 🎄
Hi Philly and Keely. Nick
Thanks so much Nick ❤️ have a brill Christmas 🎄🙏
Hopefully 2024 is a year of recovery for you all ❤️🙏
"Let the dust settle" Love it ✌
❤️
Awww thanks so much Rose ❤️❤️ family friendly channel haha
That's a great lesson to take from 2023 ❤️🙏 thanks so much for being here with us this year and hoping for a joyful 2024 for you 🎄😊
Thanks...I love you two...tried to comment on Edinburgh...all my love...xxx
@@joehalbop1928 ❤️❤️❤️
@@phillyandkeely 🌷

Merry Christmas guys. You've become my favorite YT channel. I love your travel content but also love you both, it's like having two really cool, adventuring friends!! Would be great to see more of your everyday hobbies too, doesn't just need to be breathtaking drone shots and incredible places all the time. Thanks so much for sharing your lives.
Thanks so much man, appreciate that ❤️🙏
Defo treasure your loved ones..my mother in law passed away last week ..it’s just so raw but we have a little gorgeous grandson that brightens our days and helps..hope u have a great Christmas and a happy new year xx
So sorry to hear that Debbie, will be a painful Christmas I'm sure, but the joy your grandson will bring you is so precious. Sending love ❤️🙏🎄

My boyfriend and I started watching your videos in 2023 and have really enjoyed following you since Scotland. We think you're hilarious and we are planning our own adventure in 2024 for three months! Thanks for sharing your awesome lives, Lizzie and Thom xx
Awe thanks so much Lizziie ❤️❤️ where you thinking of going? Three months is the perfect amount of time for an adventure 💪💪
@@phillyandkeely we are planning on Nepal and the Philippines! Have you been those places in your travels?
@LizziiexXx oh wow, two places we haven't been to and would love to!
@@phillyandkeely ah awesome! We may need to find a way to document
Merry Xmas and all the very very best for 2024. Thank you. 👍🚐💚😎
Thanks Rob, you too ❤️🎄
Grateful is my word for 2023. Health will be my 2024 word. Happy Christmas love you guy's.
Yesss hazel, that's a great word to project into 2024, we hope for that too ❤️🙏🎄
There’s so much more than making videos. I feel that too. It’s all a balance 💛
Thanks!
Thanks so much Kev 🙏🙏 appreciate this
Thanks for the video, hope your having a great Xmas!!! 💕💕
Thanks Rob, you too! ❤️🎄
2023 was a great year, we did our 1st trip to Europe in the van 6wks Belgium, France and Spain. Adventurous is my descriptive word. Favourite Christmas movies Diehard and Home alone.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you both
Thanks so much Susan, so glad you and a great year! Great Christmas movies ❤️🎄
My one word is GRATEFUL oh and Blessed ❤
Beautiful words ❤️
Merry Xmas you two.2023 summed up in one word in the UK would be 'Surreal'.
Sounds about right for the UK! Merry Christmas to you too bro 💪🎄
Cheers@@phillyandkeely

Hey guys where are you spending or spent Christmas……great to see you both happy & healthy! Philly make time 2024 to do the things you miss! Keely you are always so cheerful & no doubt creative! Take care & travel safely BTW go to Moonee Beach near Coffs Harbour it’s beautiful! 💜💙

What a beautiful sentiment, life isn't easy, but we are blessed indeed. Sending lots of love into your Christmas ❤️🎄
Lots of T-shirt ideas in this as well as “Let the dust settle”. “You need some ebb to your flow”, “Brutal & Fun”, “Enjoy the Ebbs” 😅 Best wishes for 2024!
Hahaha thanks so much ❤️ happy Christmas 🎄🥰
One word for 2023 Fast… it’s gone by in a flash!
Fav Christmas film, it’s a wonderful life.
Happy Christmas you two 🎄
So so true, time has been FLYING hasn't it!
Merry Christmas and have a fabulous down under Christmas 🌲🌲🌲🌲😀
Thanks so much Andrew, happy Christmas to you too ❤️🎄
Wow, you had some very thought provoking questions there! 🙃🤔 I'll get back to you on a lot of them, apart from one of my favourite Christmas movies is Christmas with the Krankies! Lol 😂
Christmas with the Krankies 🤣🤣 Brilliant
I hope you had a good Christmas in Aus you two!
My 2023 has been pretty epic. At the beginning of the year me and my partner quit our jobs and packed up our life to travel for the year. I was so apprehensive to begin with, but so happy we went for it.
I totally get that feeling of creating quality time for family and friends. I have been living in Canada for the last 5 years and every time I visit the UK I feel rushed and stressed trying to see everyone because I don’t organise in advance, so that’s my intention for next year too!
Looking forward to being inspired with more of your travels. All the best!
So true! Always so rushed feeling trying to squeeze everyone in! So glad to hear you've had a great year! Maybe the epicness continue ❤️🙏
Yep spot on, watching this on Christmas eve, have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy 2024, Keely make your laugh into a ringtone so you know when happy people are call 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hahaha thanks Jim 🤣 happy Christmas ❤️🎄
@@phillyandkeely needed that thanks xx
This was a very refreshing video for me, normally your hyperactivity combined with your accents makes me very jittery and nervous, it was nice to see you as more mature and relaxed people. At a normal talking speed, you make more sense to a non-native English speaking person such as myself. Very merry Christmas and all the best wishes for 2024.🎉
🤣🤣🤣 glad you could understand us more Helen ❤️❤️ sending you lots of love and peace in 2024
Hi Philly & Keeley..... i loved this video, i've read all the comments here, and some people have had it so hard during 2023.....
I hope 2024 is a year you feel the most yourself and I'm sure you will love your retirement, I know my parents do
Merry Christmas- lovely to hear from you today! Hope your experience of Christmas in Australia is amazing & memorable in all the best ways!

45 years, what a triumph ❤️ marriage is such a beautiful thing. Wishing you many more years and adventures together 🎄🙏
Just want to say Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you both. Really do whatever makes you happy and take extra time to be with love ones. Love your vlogs and may they continue in 2024.

My favourite Christmas movie is Home Alone as it’s something we as a family can all watch and enjoy. Xxx
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ great movie choice! Happy Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas to both of you from New Brunswick, Canada.🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄
Thankyou! Hopefully you have a wonderful Christmas in Canada, I'm sure it feels much more festive than it does south of the equator haha

Thanks Jack, thanks for joining us, merry Christmas 🎄

Thanks so much Anne ❤️❤️
Would love love love to see more of your life in northern Ireland! What part of northern Ireland are you from? I went to Mount Lourdes back in the 1970s and I lived in a small town and county Tyrone. I live in Arizona now. Northern Ireland is so beautiful and has so much to explore. I would love to see a tour of Derry and all the history that is there.
Derry is a very beautiful city ❤️❤️
You two make me so happy everytime I watch♡ love you both ❤
Aww thanks so much Pam ❤️
Happy New Year! You two are positively charming! Hope you have an amazing time in Australia! And wishing you all the best in the new year❤
Aww thankyou so much, that's very sweet of you to say 🥰 have a brilliant new year 🥰🥰🎉🎉
Merry Christmas Philly & Keely.
Thanks so much Cat, really appreciate your support ❤️🙏 hope you are having a joy filled Christmas, sending love 🎄🕯️
What would I change from the last year?
@@phillyandkeely Chriiistmaaas! Chriiistmaaas!!!
nice one! I was quite patient this year, waiting for the stuff I knew would happen eventually.
Patience is definitely a virtue! I think we can all take more of that into 2024 ❤️🎄 merry Christmas Veronica
I forgot my favorite movie: Elf. Simply the best!
