Your new basic cardigan sounds great. I also am not into balloon sleeves; a little ease is great, though. Looking forward to all your upcoming designs!
Love a bit volume in sleeves idea and love even more long tutorial idea ... what a wonderful idea. As for bags u can now buy pattern and there is free tutorial how to sew them .. I know this is not what u asked but at least there is some hope. Cannot wait to see all the wonderful ideas coming forth from u. Please say hello to sheep and sooooo glad kids feel better.
Looking forward to the cardigan pattern. Would love to be able to have 1-2 inches positive in the sleeves with a snug cuff since they stretch with frequent wear. Your WIp projects are all beautiful.
Glad everyone is healthy again! I would prefer some positive ease in the sleeves for layering. The last 2 skeins are really pretty.... think a simple design / pattern for a vest / slipover would be really nice! Have a great week! 💖🧶💫
I would love the cardigan with slightly balloon sleeves, perfect to wear over shirt or dress sleeves. By the way, I've knitted the Silverlake Shawl in 2 colors, I love it! And I'm currently finishing My Fletching, which was my first stranded colorwork project, I'm very happy with it 😊
I always enjoy seeing your works in progress. I am looking forward to your cardigan pattern and like your idea of just enough ease in the sleeves to wear over a long sleeved shirt.
Yes the cardigan sounds perfect with the little bit of space in the sleeves. There seems to be very few relaxed sleeve fit patterns that arent super puffy. And while i certainly can modify top down sleeves it would let me relax and enjoy the knit more if it was already what i am looking for.
hi so happy your back and glad the kids are feeling better me and my kids have been sick for last month or so aswell and im loving how your sweater for your husband is looking i have been excited for this pattern siince i first saw it and love the rouncd neck cardi you are knitting and love the idea of doing a full tutorial on it happy knittinng
Can’t wait for the cardigan pattern. I would be so grateful for an instruction video. I am just starting your beginning sweater video. So grateful for it. Thank you!!
I absolutely love a simple cardigan!!! Since I wear long sleeve tees and shirts under them in the colder months, I’d love to see enough ease for those long sleeves with a snug cuff or one I could fold back (love that look, too!). I’m looking forward to seeing this new design!
Hi Jessica, I have spent hours searching Ravelry for a basic crewneck cardigan and found nothing, so I am so happy you have one in the works. Thank you!
Love seeing the progress on Borah! It has stunning cable work. I'm excited by your new cardigan project. With the body not having excessive ease, I would also like to see some modest sleeve volume with a fitted cuff. I think that would be a beautiful silhouette. Another idea is to provide the knitter with both the options - both a fitted sleeve, or one with more volume. I just finished Blizzard so will be looking forward to your next colorwork design!
Magner and Co are the closest bags that I have found to the waxed canvas Fringe Supply bags. My Fringe Supply bags are my favorites too and are starting to wear out as well. My favorite tote is Artifact- but that is a full on tote bag.
For project bags, I LOVE my L.L. Bean Boat & Tote bags. I currently have two and use the medium size. It is perfect for a sweater project. Rugged canvas, no zippers, and short handles. The only downside is there are no pockets.
Slight volume on the sleeves could be lovely. Would really appreciate if the cardigan pattern could include a steeked version too! I am currently knitting your Larch cardigan. Love it and the broken rib makes it okay to knit back and forth, but I would not make a cardigan that would need purling half of it (I am also tall and always need to lengthrn the body). My second current wip is a round yoke cardigan (the Festive…) that is designed to be steeked. Like that too.
Tightness or fitted sleeves dont work for my style. I alway eliminate some of the decreases and decrease the remainer of the sleeve rigth befor the cuff. So very interested in you cardigan that will be of that style.
The slight volume to the sleeve sounds perfect. I hate struggling to put a cardigan on and having the sleeves drag and pull over my main garment.
Ditto! 🙂

Thank you Jessica Love the colour of the last two skeins you showed us. Always enjoys your podcasts. Keep them coming!

Yes! I can’t wait for this cardigan pattern and tutorial! I love a roomey sleeve Sold!!! 😊

Came here to recommend this as well, I love mine!

Volume in sleeves and a tutorial series would be great

Nice to see your sweater wips! Do you alternate skeins with your North Bay yarn?
Great i would like a plain raglan cardigan with a little ease on the sleeves. A tutorial would be helpful. Thanks 🏴
Love the cardigan and a couple of inches positive ease until the cuff would be great. Needs some room when wearing it over something.
Tightness or fitted sleeves dont work for my style. I alway eliminate some of the decreases and decrease the remainer of the sleeve rigth befor the cuff. So very interested in you cardigan that will be of that style.
would love to have positive ease in the sleeves, so you can wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. Don't enjoy tight sleeves.
Slight tapering with more ease please
