- WE STAYED IN AN ENGLISH FAIRYTALE COTTAGE IN THE WOODS// Happy Tuesday everyone, We are so excited to share our long weekend in Kent and our amazing accommodation: We stayed in an English fairytale cottage in the woods! It's such a wonderful location which belongs to the Landmark Trust and feels like a real fairytale cottage. In today's video we give you a full cottage tour (house tour) and its surroundings. If you're looking for a place to unwind (but also a great base to do sightseeing), we can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful tiny English cottage that dates back to 1500! It felt as if we were transported to the world of the Brothers Grimm. Tiny living and a tiny house at its best. We hope you enjoy this video. Kirsten & Joerg x

I love all the places to where you travel, but these quirky trust properties are my absolute favorite. The cottage in Devon was the first video I ever saw and I have been hooked since! This place is so serene. And what a nice time of year to visit and see the bluebells!

What a magical place! A secret cottage in the woods surrounded by thousands of bluebell’s and starlit nights. Snuggling up to the fireplace, mesmerized by the light, daydreaming. Taking all of us along. You are such an amazing couple. God bless

Life is chaotic here in uk unfortunately as well, not much green spaces left as too many houses being built, would love to build a tiny house no land here at realistic prices

I'm afraid the chaos and stress of life is indeed universal and timeless. Ancient Greek philosophers talked about how maddeningly crowded Athens was when its population was still under 25.000, and how they dreamed of a pastoral life on Delos.

Those bluebells are so dreamy to look at. And I can only imagine what it feels like to wake up in the middle of the forest in this cute little cottage and just enjoy this peace and quiet, only being interrupted with a beautiful song from the birds. Heaven on earth. 🙂

Oh my my! There are just no words to describe. The cottage was just stunning. I love places like that. If the walls could only talk. The bluebells were breath taking. It reminded me of a Jane Austen story. I bet it was very dark at night. Was the night sky filled with stars? I live my dream travelling through you two guys. OMG!! The Bluebells are AMAZING!! Thank you so much for filming them. I live in Florida (in America), so we never ever see fields or forests filled with flowers like that! And, I'm a huge Tudor fan, so the cottage was amazing!! Very jealous as I would love to LIVE in a Tudor home! So glad you got to stay in the cottage. What a lovely place! ❤️

Heute habe ich euch wirklich sehr beneidet. Was für ein magischer und zauberhafter Ort. Hier in Deutschland, also in Mecklenburg, sind die Wälder gerade weiß, weil die Anemonen blühen und einen Teppich in weiß bilden. Aber eine solche Fläche in blau, unglaublich schön. Danke, dass ihr uns mitgenommen habt. Freue mich auf eure Ausflüge. Alles Gute euch beiden.

Beautiful china set for breakfast, and I think those asparagus fancy for lunch with those Scottish trout that looks like salmon in Canada. Peaceful cottage for the weekend, reading and writing as well as walking around those pretty blue bells in the garden. Thanks Kirsten and Joerg for the tour!
It would be so hard to say goodbye to such a romantic and cozy cottage as this is. I could live there forever, it is as magical on the outside as he inside. The woods and bluebells are magical ! I would love to experience a night thunderstorm while tucked into that bed, no words for how sweet that would be. Thanks guys, you have given me something to dream about.

📣The table in bedroom was a jewel of that not tiny but a small house because it's so cozy to being sitting around in a comfortable place with some antique dark furniture and a porcelain teapot with cups and plates and then the cup of hot tea ☕ would works like a best glass of wine 🍷 wonderful stuff 👍

😉That's what we'd call a 1-butt kitchen. Best for one person〰️or two ppl👫 who love each other & don't mind the close proximity. It's petite, but darling. Like the "U" configuration & that view 🪟. Kitchens are my favorite. This is a room I'd wanna putter in👩🍳.
🛏️ The guest rooms are lovely. The old beams, plastered walls, & vaulted ceiling are handsome. The bunkroom makes me think of a 🚂 train compartment... compact, but sweet.
