Your house works the whole year - it looks sort of fresh and bright in the summer, but dressed like this also so cosy and cocooning in the winter.

I adore all of your rooms during the Christmas house tour. Everything is very festive and appropriately decorated. I discovered your TH-cam channel when I was looking for others who collected Emma Bridgewater and I am a novice with this particular pottery line. I ‘borrowed’ your Christmas tied ribbon bows and put them on a artificial wreath for my front door because the sun hits my door and dries out everything that is real and natural. The feeling that one gets from your tour is “welcome home”. Your taste in furnishings and decor is amazing! What I’m so impressed with is just how intentional every aspect of your home is. What a wonderfully cosy house. I especially liked the spare bedroom. I have an old stone cottage in Wales so have a more simple,neutral look but also with a very Victorian aesthetic

Does your house have a basement (not sure if they’re called that in the UK)? Are basements common there?
@@kathyjo7541 No, they aren't as common as they are in Germany. Though in Germany many people no longer add them when they build a new home to save money. Some old houses have them here, ours doesn't I'm afraid.
I mean, the whole house is perfection in decorating! Both the stunningly gorgeous Christmas decorations, and the regular house decoration itself! What a festive place to enjoy the holiday season! ❤ By the way, I was inspired by your videos, and have finally gotten myself to go out and stay in the mountains for a few days, to escape the city and take a break from work - but not before finishing my own (much smaller) Christmas decorations at home, haha. Thank you for this fantastically cosy video!
