Apologies if you already have, just caught up with your channel today. Subscribed, liked and wish you well. Carmarthenshire is absolutely beautiful too.
So happy to have found you. Recently, my darling husband passed unexpectedly, and seeing the two of you so young and in love made me feel happier and hopeful that, with the change of seasons, my life force will gain strength. Glad you invited me.
My gran had a saying, the gist of which was that the difference between living for the little moments and the grand ones is simple. There are bound to be millions of little ones, and only a handful of the grand. We all know the grand ones when they come along, so you don’t have to worry you’ll miss out on them. But true living is embracing all of the small moments. That's where you’re most likely to find yourself. I missed a lot when I was younger, because I was sure that I, the globe trekking, big moment seeking wanderer, had it right. I didn’t. So glad the two of you are living the small, truly extraordinary moments together, and sharing them here as well. Enjoy!
Thank you for this beautiful comment, it gave me goosebumps, it was so lovely! I was also a big-moment seeker in my early 20s, I think it was the pandemic that finally helped me to appreciate the everyday stuff too ❤

I’ve just found your channel. What a beautiful house you moved into. That big window and the deep window sills are so cosy. The Pembroke coast is so lovely. Your video made me have a tear or three for all the things that make me homesick. Beautiful trees, animals in fields rugged coastlines the Dawn chorus, beautiful little towns. To live remote you need more cats!! I now live on a small island on the Atlantic coast of Canada, Fairly remotely, 2 hours for a big shop. I love it. I don’t miss people. I watch the deer, pheasants and eagles flying over, I embrace the little things every day. A pretty cloud, the change in colour of the ocean, the different wild flowers. I try and embrace the best of the seasons every day, whatever it may hold. I miss my family and friends and go back to visit England. I miss the quintessential Englishness of things so much but it’s so busy, fast paced, people aren’t always friendly.
Thank you so much for this comment - your life sounds so peaceful and beautiful, I've always wanted to visit Canada. We like the birds too much for more cats, my house cat has already started venturing outside to try and catch them 😂 You should visit pembrokeshire one day, people here, as a rule, are aaaaalways friendly, and the pace is nice and slow ☺

I started crying when the cows that were closest to you turned their heads up so they could face you, and at the same time. for some reason I found this so beautiful.
Growing plants in boots seems like a nice idea as rainbows soon arrive after that. Spring in Scotland seems wonderful and beautiful coastlines. Thank you for showing us your beautiful house. You painted and decorated it yourself. Kudos to you
I stayed a couple of times on the Pembrokeshire coast more than 30 years ago, and have never forgotten the feeling and how stunning it was - your film really captures it so well. ❤ A spell of isolation and getting back to basics is good for the soul now and again after stressful events, especially in these naturally beautiful landscapes. Loved what you said about the hard winter stripping away things you needed to let go, and making your roots stronger. I've come to feel that's the point of these spells of isolation in more natural landscapes. It's a cleansing and strengthening experience, somehow.
@@adventuringbeth Definitely someone who feels landscapes very much, it's fascinating to me how different places have their own energy. I'm currently living in the West of Scotland, been here three years now and it's been incredibly healing. ❤

I just realised alot of yous being fond of this place (Wales), it's probably because you live in a hustling, bustling place yourself & daily commute & busy city life is your norm. I know, i come from London. You must get out and about to places like the countryside, hills, mountains, running water & animals - be close to nature from time to time. This 9-5 isn't in tune to our innate state & calm disposition. Take a break & give your soul its satiating drink, find those travels in this beautiful world. 🌎🫶
this video almost made me cry. I miss the gentleness nature has to offer. Hopefuly one day I get to live somewhere like that in your videos! It was truly beautiful how you showed us your world. Thank you
Such a beautiful place… even in the rain and fog it’s beautiful and full of life. You would have to work hard to remain unhealed in such a place. It’s nice to see you are adjusting to the quiet life. Congratulations!🐝❤️🤗
I know exactly where this is - my husband's family have spent a week in a cottage visible at 0.14 every summer for the last few decades, and for the last seven years I have been lucky enough to join them. It's such a beautiful, special place, our long-term goal is to move here too. Wishing you every happiness!

Wow. I watched this video with tears after stumbling across your channel. We moved from central England to rural and remote Scotland in 2022. It has been filled with challenges but more than anything, it has been a healing balm for me. The winters can be long and harsh as you have seen in wales, sometimes it’s relentless but oh it’s rewarding too. Your video was beautiful, your words poignant. Keep going. ❤
Thank you so much for this comment and your kind words - I felt the pull of remote Scotland back before we settled on Wales. These wild places have so much to teach us, don't they? x
This video was raw and honest. I love how you embrace your natural environment, especially the realization re: the Atlantic gales clearing and cleansing your soul. Thanks for sharing!
I love wales have been going to St David’s, Tenby, Solva since childhood and so have my parents since the 70s, we always retrace their holidays on farms helping and it’s so nice. Recently been going to Little Haven and Broad Haven for the last 3 summers and love it. I’d love to move there ❤
I also moved away from family and when I really miss them, I'll usually just drive up to their place for about 5-7 days. It helps me to know, that I can just go and visit them whenever I need to. Being surrounded by almost nothing and feeling isolated is normal, but seeing that you don't have to stay while missing people helps immensely. At least it helps me 🙂

We like the birds too much for more cats, my house cat has already started venturing outside to try and catch them 😂 You should visit pembrokeshire one day, people here, as a rule, are aaaaalways friendly, and the pace is nice and slow ☺
wow where? British Columbia? Cuz that sounds kind of like Vancouver
I was born in a rich city in Asia, then went away to Cardiff for uni. Stayed in Wales and England for 6 years. Now I'm back in the city. What I miss most are the Welsh and English countryside. I learnt to love life there. There is always going to be a part of me missing it. This video reminded me of it. I long to be back.
I hope you can visit again one day, the countryside here will always be here to welcome you back :)
I have just found your site, and am enraptured by it! I shall binge watch your videos. I myself have moved from a large city to a very rural location. It fills my heart and soul with peace and happiness. I wish you the same xx
Thank you so much for these words 🥰 that's so kind of you! I'm so glad to hear you've found your special place xx
Thankyou for sharing, I relocated to wales 17 years ago, I lived remotely for 11 of those years and it’s very hard… I could never live anywhere else but I now live in a village with my own business and I must admit I’m far happier! ❤
I'm so glad you found the right place for you! It's a beautiful country, isn't it?
My husband is from Pembrokeshire and we moved here 2,5 years ago. Thinking about relocating but glad to see so many people enjoy living here!
I started crying when the cows that were closest to you turned their heads up so they could face you, and at the same time. for some reason I found this so beautiful.
Loved the view. Fog, rain. Animals. Enjoy. Stay safe
Growing plants in boots seems like a nice idea as rainbows soon arrive after that. Spring in Scotland seems wonderful and beautiful coastlines. Thank you for showing us your beautiful house. You painted and decorated it yourself. Kudos to you
A sweet contemplation, setting down roots in a place close to family and nature, and enjoying the love I see with this couple. Thank you.
Thank you so much ❤

I lived in Wales for 2 years. This blog really made me miss the place I considered my second home. Beautiful videography. ❤
Thank you so much for your comment, you sound like a kindred spirit ❤
@@adventuringbeth Definitely someone who feels landscapes very much, it's fascinating to me how different places have their own energy. I'm currently living in the West of Scotland, been here three years now and it's been incredibly healing. ❤
This is so wonderful. I find myself in deep thought and contemplation these days. I am a minimalist and I write in my spare time. I often take time for just silence. I’m in Finance, so work is demanding. Watching your videos is so rewarding- THANK YOU
sounds beautiful and I love the silence too and also contemplating alot these days… we can be simply happy - just be and learn to realize how precious and also unimportant snd short our stay on earth is…
if I see all the people around me running… for what? happiness?? we are sll so deluded… we need more of simple living people and I feel it’s increasing ❤
This is the most beautiful video I’ve ever seen! You have a wonderful eye for the little things and can capture atmosphere incredibly well. love the vibes ❤ this Video feels like a warm hug
Thank you so much, dear Beth, for sharing about this journey and being so honest and vulnerable about it 🧡 wishing the four of you all the best 💫
this video almost made me cry. I miss the gentleness nature has to offer. Hopefuly one day I get to live somewhere like that in your videos!
It was truly beautiful how you showed us your world. Thank you
Living life as a dream. Beautiful places and beautiful colors. What a lovely life for the both of you
More of a nightmare, one would’ve said
Such a beautiful place… even in the rain and fog it’s beautiful and full of life.
What a beautiful video, one of the best I've seen this year. I've also been pondering doing versus being. Good luck with your new home. Wales looks magical.
These wild places have so much to teach us, don't they? x
I really enjoyed watching this. I've lived in Pembrokeshire all my life and love it here.
@@JulieHawkins-rm2tr it’s a wonderful place! Must have been a magical childhood here. Thank you 🩷
This video was raw and honest.
I’d love to move there ❤
Lovely and fun. Thank you. Wales is my favorite part of Britain, Wild and beautiful. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
it's a magical place. Thank you so much for your comment! ☺
What a beautiful place! Just breathtaking! Great video! Calm and peaceful ❤
What a beautiful place!! Community comes in many ways and with many beings!
Very true! And we've since met some of our lovely neighbours who are always around to chat or lend a hand ☺
At least it helps me 🙂
An amazing post! Love the ocean views and the pizza oven! Best to do outside cooking now since I expect winters are cold and windy! In studying abroad in London a life time ago (I was so broke) I visited two places: Oxford and Wales. Went to Brecon Beacon park, the grey beach, loved the moors and sheep painted with blue dots! Best, from Colorado!
Ive lived in pembrokeshire near saundersfoot for 23 years on an ex farm so im familiar with your experiences. I found friendships through yoga and karate! Join a group or classes.....Narberth (a village feel small town) has alot of great things going on and is a bit bohemian. There's gigs, comedy club, singing groups plus lovely cafes and shops. I live opposite a beautiful little 13th century church and have met and been supported by a small congregation.
I have plenty of family...your age too..teachers... moved here aswell so if you need a cuppa or a curry night let me know. Love and blessings x
I just saw your video and I truly loved it 🥰 Your home is amazing and your Christmas tree was beautiful. I really enjoyed the way you appreciate simple things (I do too) and you a calming, peaceful way to see what life is like in Wales which I’ll likely never be able to visit. Thank you so much 😊
Gosh, despite the struggles you described- I feel like nothing bad could ever happen to you in a place like that! What a charmed life to live, especially to get to enjoy still in your youth too ❤
Hello, I’m from northern Ohio, USA. Your video just popped up on my algorithm and it was such a beautiful and pleasant one, thank you. I love your country side, and your clay birdies. I also like to cook outside as much as possible. I had an awning added to the back of my home. I like metal because I love to hear the rain dripping❤
Good luck with your new lifestyle, and business, and good health to you both, and kitty❤
what a lovely, calming video. thank you!
❤ just found your channel. I love how peaceful it is and when you found the cows and were just there reading , got me emotional so beautiful ❤
Aw thank you! 🥰 I loved having the cows as neighbours, hoping they'll return in a month or so! ❤
What exquisite video footage and photos. Sounds like it was a rough winter but you are taking in the lessons. Your scumbled walls are my favourite way to paint walls too! I look forward to seeing more of your home decorating and rural life!
Thank you so much :) I think I'll paint all walls this way forever now, I love it too! Posting a little home tour on friday!
this video truly touched my heart. being present & still away from all the noise truly heals the soul. blessings to you both on your life journey together. sending love from texas!
Thank you so much for this lovely comment ❤️
That rainbow at the end with white birds, breathtaking 😍😍😍
What a beautiful place! I love birds and cows. So sweet!
Thank you! I'm hoping the cow neighbours will return this Autumn ☺
Hi Beth, new subscriber here! firstly thank you for sharing your journey and the beautiful moments and struggles you’ve shared.I’m so happy that you’ve realised that nature truly helps heal body and mind, as someone who has also had to face and battle demons we have had a similar experience over the last 6 years and despite the hard work renovating and the struggle to settle it’s been the best thing we’ve ever done! I so look forward to seeing how the cottage and garden develops and wish you love and strength in healing ❤️ps love the clay birds you’re very talented!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment 🥰 I really appreciate your encouragement, it's so nice to know that your experience was the best thing you've done!
Aw. That was the most lovely and tranquil vlog I have ever seen. You transported me to Wales. Thank you. ❤
Lovely home and property. I ❤ the landscape and seascape. The isolation would weigh on me unless I had a ton of books, great music and dvds to watch.....oh, and an Amazing Man to share it all with 😂😉😂.
What a magical place you were lead to.
I’m sure there are faeries on that land and selkies in that ocean.
Thank you for sharing it with us💖
So peaceful. I grew up in the countryside of Oxfordshire but since moved to Shanghai… very different to the slow paced cottage life I loved so much. Maybe one day I’ll go back to it 😭
This was so lovely. Thank you from the dry, hot desert of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Thanks for sharing this! I love Pembrokeshire and Wales in general 😊 Really liking the cozy vibe in this!
What an absolutely beautiful, moving and gorgeous vlog! Thank you for this ❤️
This brought me so much peace. Thanks for sharing your view on the world; it's really lovely.
I envy your ability to be able to live away from people and the hurried harassed bustle of life, to just live in peace and quiet, and to be able to share in that with nature and the beautiful birds. And the friendly cows! Do either of you play an instrument? Cows love music ♥️
It has it's challenges but I wouldn't trade it at this point in my life ♥️ sadly neither of us are musical, but I played opera music from my phone once and they followed me through the field for ages!
@@adventuringbeth
Yes, cows love music so that’s awesome you did that! ♥️
More folks should do this in their life. Cheers and best of luck in your adventure! ❤ from 🇨🇦
Omgosh !! What a great artist you are !! The bird was beautiful ❤❤❤❤ House is so cute and the area is so peaceful and serene !! Enjoy !!😊
This video moved me ❤ thank you for sharing your journey of growth and such lovely moments
What lovely footage and thoughtful journey. We all need to go back to where we feel like ourselves again, away from the pressure. Those clay birds are absolutely beautiful.
The clay birds are beautiful 🌿
this was such a beautiful video !! - having all the lil subtitles, peaceful music & breathtaking views was all just so calming! Really appreciated a video without any talking, it was just so relaxing & felt like 12 mins of mindfulness thank you ✨😌✨
I found your video breathtaking! I now feel such a sense of calm and wonder, for what my future may hold. Such a beautiful home and countryside you live in, and a story so well filmed and edited. With love from across the world - Australia. I wish you both happiness on your forward journey in Wales.
This video, you coming into my life is Perfect timing and gods plan. May you grow, heal and prosper . Much love
Thank you for sharing such beauty with us. As Alex sat looking out to the sea, it felt like a sailing ship from centuries ago might appear!
What a lovely video. You made a very brave move to a wild and remote part of Wales. I’m looking forward to watching more about your life.
Fabulous stuff guys, such a beautiful setting. Keep capturing those memories. Stumbled on your channel this morning and glad I did. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you for this lovely video and sharing a little piece of your life.
My husband's family (Wyvill, Wyville) immigrated from Wales many, many years ago. We always talk and dream about making a trip over there to experience his heritage. (Our bucket list dream vacation). Can't believe I stumbled upon this channel. I already love it!
This was such a lovely vlog. I love your optimism and can’t wait to see the finish work, so far so good.😊
I so enjoyed this video 😊
And even though my living circumstance is quite different, ( similar in some ways), your feelings were so honest and well expressed that it made it relatable and calming. Beautiful!
What a beautifully relaxing blog ❤ love the filming and nature and that jigsaw was lovely. The little outdoor pizza oven looks fun!
The vibes of this are completely immaculate ❤
this is really beautiful, everything about it, and all of your film shots are gorgeous..beautiful life, you are blessed.
I have always wanted to live like this, but I wouldn't be able to handle the challenges it brings, at least not right now. Seeing you guys makes me feel happiness in my heart, and it brightened up my day. All the best, I'm glad I found this video and your channel.
This might be my favorite video I've ever watched on TH-cam. Moving, relaxing, inspiring. I plan to save this video and revisit many times
oh my gosh, what a compliment! Thank you so so much ❤
It’s so beautiful there! What a wonderful adventure you have waiting for you!
I live in Honolulu and it's been 90 degrees with high humidity, no tradewinds, just hot sticky and uncomfortable even at night. Loved seeing some fog and cold cloudy or rainy days that you've shown. Too bad we couldn't trade places for a month or two LOL! Aloha!
