Inside Venezuela's Most Dangerous Hood "Petare"

  • I decided to pay a visit to Petare in Venezuela. The most dangerous hood in the world. During it's peak it was common to have over 100 homicides per week. This is the biggest slum in all of Latin America made up of thousands of brick homes on the mountain sides. Filming in Petare is dangerous, don't try this on your own.

You are truly gutsy to venture into the most dangerous hoods , have a scrumptious meal , drink beer , interact with the locals and post sunset watch a basketball game ! Phew ! Most of us won’t dare venture into such hoods but only Carlos can do it and dish out a fab Vlog for the viewers !! Truly respect you amigo ! My humble request for the sakes of Sophie and your family stay safe and God bless ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🪔🪔🪔🪔

This is the same apprehension that is spread around the outside world about the town I've been living for two decades now. But in reality, it's not as dangerous as people think of it to be here in Dimapur, the commercial hub of the state of Nagaland, Northeast India. I love the place although I'm not from here. It's kind of a cosmopolitan town with a bustling consumer business in the heart of it. The only problem here could be while you walk around alone at night in certain hoods, which is a typical danger in many such commercial towns all over the world and Petare is no exception I guess. A great video, Carlos. Love your way of travelling and the real deal vlogging style. Keep em coming, armano.

Those guys playing basketball on that busy traffic road speaks volume.
"Someone's Human Rights is someone else's dream."
And we know there is all sort of corruption, violence, inflation sky rocketing, but still one thing to notice is that they have such fine paved roads all over, even in the hoods, and that too with cleanliness. Got to give it to them.

Tuve 6 meses en petare. Caminé estás calles todos los días. Gracias por compartir eso. Aún que es peligroso nunca tuve un problema. Con excepción cuando tomé agua mala en barrio bolivar. Page el precio por eso jaja.
