I recommend a chanel name frum it up ,is a Jewish mom and she is also very especial, I think is because all Jewish women are like that their religion requires them to be very organized truthfull in everything, and help in every day life to see how this lady manages to do everything they do with the care and attention to detail the put and are not overwhelmed or unhappy, different message of the one I grew up with.

Why do Orthodox Jewish women have to hide their hair and wear wigs? It appears the men don't have to hide their hair and wear wigs. Meanwhile, you are a beautiful woman, live in a wonderful, loving family home, and are amazing at preparing complicated food dishes for the various Jewish holidays, while keeping your house so clean, your children so well behaved. We gentiles could learn a lot from you. Lastly, your channel has so much value in teaching us about Orthodox Jewish life.

I have a thousand questions but I would feel so guilty asking them all. You are one busy lady! Maybe someone who knows can answer, I’m curious if the dishes you cooked in the video are traditional foods your people may have eaten so many years ago or are they family favorites? I also notice that all the meats shown appear to be extremely high quality, are you in Israel? I’m in the States and I don’t see meat of that quality in our local markets. I really enjoyed the video. Happy Holidays.

When you use foil to cover your food to bake in the oven the shiny side of the foil should face inwards to the food. This helps the foil reflect the heat towards what you are cooking. When you store food in fridge or on counter. The shiny side can be on the outside.

When I was that age, I would fight naps. My mom used to tell me that even if I couldn't sleep, I still had to "rest my body". It always worked. I'd fall asleep from boredom while my body was resting, LOL. That was over 60 years ago, and it still works!!

Hello. I know that for many reasons you use foil but be careful because it's very carcinogenic ( and hardly recyclable ones dirt). Hopefully some day you may have options to avoid it. It's still very interesting to see your suggestions for fast and diverse meals preps. Thank you for making your videos on top of cooking and taking car of your family. It's a lot of job.

I discovered your channel right after Rosh Hashana. First of all it’s always so nice to see another frum working mommy on TH-cam, not to mention one with such universal appeal and חן. Your videos have been a real source of motivation and chizuk during my own Yom Tov preparations. Refuah shelaima to your little ones and gut moed and Shana tova to you and your family.

I know this an older video BUT, the next time you have leftover mac and cheese and hubby’s having it with eggs, try reheating the mac in the pan with the eggs. The mac gets a wonderful crunch… so delicious. Of course, this assumes you haven’t already tried this. 😁

For super juicy Turkey Legs, wings, thighs, and you can use this for Chickens & Ducks, if your brine your poultry the brine works it’s magic into the meat, bring the flavors with it!

As I have said before, you're incredible. With all you cook, you definitely need an instant pot! It does everything. Any meat comes out falling off the bone in half the time. Hard boiled eggs in 4 minutes. I make bone broth and chicken stock, homemade non dairy yogurt. Couldn't live without it. Especially when you cook that much food!

Hi Cheryl. Thank you for your comment and for watching. Sukkot is one of the three major festivals in Judaism, and is both an agricultural festival of thanksgiving and a commemoration of the forty-year period during which we wandered in the desert after leaving slavery in Egypt, living in temporary shelters as we traveled. These temporary shelters is the Sukkah.

    • @cheryljones6677

Thank you for the clarity of your culture. I understand that a shelter means a place of refuge and comfort. I can appreciate you and your family's perspective and views on how important it is to give our God Thanksgiving for such a beautiful miracle.
May our God continue to watch over you and your beautiful family in a way that gives you continued blessings peace and miracles in your daily life.
