As a Christian man, I truly enjoy your cooking video's and im inspired by your cooking/recipes, especially your bread recipe. You cook with so much love, and care for your family ❤
I boil my water for the corn, switch the heat off and add my corn, cover and leave for 20 to 30 mins. You will have juicy corn, that is sweet and full of flavour, and it will keep all its nutriants.
Cellulose also known as wood pulp is what they add to shredded cheese. Some will use starch. Even Parmesan cheese. It’s best to shred your own then you know what’s in it.
Hi Sonya , I never use soap and water on my cast iron pans . You can dump a bottle of coke in your pan to help get the rust out . Or try baking soda and water.
You need to wash it then put it on a burner on the stove and dry it for about 5 to 10 mins, then take a paper towel and rub oil in it, don't let it air dry, and season it every 3 to 6 months depending on how much you use it. One of our skillets my mom has had for around 50 years and it looks brand new 😊 Also the chicken salad looked amazing!
Wonderful video! You work so hard; you’re quite the mother, and woman. I am 70, and started watching your videos when my grandchildren were toddlers, as I was looking for Jewish themed kid ideas. My DIL is not Jewish, so I am in charge of their cultural Jewish home life. Always need new recipes, especially for the holidays. Looking forward to your Rosh Hashana video.
I'm watching your videos for a while now and love how you transitioned to way healthier ingredients over the years. There's nothing as satisfying as churning out delicious meals that are both healthy and delicious. Im also so proud of you for almost reaching 100k subscribers! Go you!
cut the apple strudels in thirds- put sharp cheddar cheese on top and put on the oven to warm and melt the cheese- then serve with vanilla ice cream (we use costco brand) it a favorite fall dessert in our house - and the apple strudels from costco are pretty good- esp. when you don't have the time to make them
Kirkland mineral water!! I’m obsessed! And just all the household items. I feel so silly but it’s like if I can’t get toilet paper and paper towels from Costco then it’s like no other store exists that sells them and I have a freak out. Idk why I can’t buy that stuff anywhere else haha. Love Costco, but not good for my wallet! God bless you this week!! ❤
Sonia, you are so cute with your guilty pleasures. I think every single one of us comes out of Costco with more than we planned to buy. There are always so many temptations. Hola from Cuernavaca, Mexico.
You might like a diamataceous earth drying stone. When we renovated our kitchen, I opted out of a dishwasher, because I just don't care for them. I also went with a butcher block counter, so I needed a drying mat that wouldn't get my new counter ruined AND I wanted something pleasing to my eyes. I got my stone off Amazon, and love it! It looks like marble and works just like it's supposed to work.
Matzah bread so delicious divine recipe from Elohim let it sit for seven days and natural yeast will develop this is how some Jewish kitchens that do this now I've seen this on TH-cam so hearty of a bread love your channel Sonya❤❤❤
Love! Love! Love your cooking and the way you incorporate your children in your cooking! It is evident that they just adore you and love your cooking too! Thank you for sharing with us!❤️❤️
I loved seeing you in the Ecuadorian apron! I am not Jewish, but I love your videos. I am an expat in Ecuador, I have tried many of your recipes when I entertain. Peace to you and yours.
Hi Sonya. I wanted to say thankyou for your wonderful videos. Im currently hung up with a back injury snd your videos have kept me entertained and ive noted doen a few recipe ideas i want to try. Thankyou again from Manitoba Canada.
Sonya, I would have got one of those small portable blenders and used it to make the dressings. I have one and some of the larger cups as well as all the smaller and middle cups and I would of used a Larger Cup, added everything into the cup and then blended it all for a minute or two at the very end and then poured it over the salad.
Your good looks so delicious…🌷 I’m going to try the zucchini lasagna.. the salads… wow everything… I’m doing my salad tomorrow… I have heard about that wood in the pre shredded cheese🤮 I haven’t bought it in years. I just love your family dynamic… wonderful… keeping traditions… brings tears to my eyes… it’s just me & my pets… no family….except them❤️ Peace and blessings from Tampa 🌴
This " cooking for new moms families " is so amazing thing you guys do! That's really great help. That's what we , non Jews should take example from you.
I love your channel! I’ve tried many recipes from you. Costco has an exotic mushroom mix that I roast and serve over hummus on Shabbos with fresh herbs and techina. Their tomatoes and almond butter are the best!
Loved watching this video! I’m an avid Costco shopper and my home isn’t complete if I don’t have their ICE sparkling water beverage lemonade flavor, zero sugar and so delicious especially during this summer.
Yes we just heard about the cellulose in the cheese. Disgusting. I have stopped buying grated cheese altogether. Thank you for your videos, always inspiring, DL
Rly enjoy watching ur vids, i love cooking for the family w/ my mum לכבוד שבת, I need to start trying out some of ur dishes - btw a good video idea is dinners for the 9 days 💙🇬🇧
Costco must: paper towels, toilet paper, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, onions, potatoes, mushrooms, organic broccoli, organic spinach, eggs. Sugar, organic flour, avocado and ovioo. Other items just the "oh, I need these too…
So sweet the way that you prepare food for your baby. Reminds me when by kids were babies ( very long time ago,) I used to do the the same thing. Much better than jars
As usual, so many great ideas. I love your beautiful looking and tasty salads!! I'm also a great fan of Costco, and will go there this coming Tuesday! Thanks for all of the great ideas for meals. And love to you and your family.
I am back to watching your videos and so many good dishes I am going to try for family dinners. I watched another video of yours where you prepared a meal for a new mother. My husband has a coworker who is a friend also and he and his wife are having a baby any day now. I am going to prepare a meal for husband to take to the family I think I will use the meal in this video and the other which makes it easy for me. Thank you for your thoughtfulness for the new moms. I made challah last Friday (I had off of work) and my family loved it I still use the recipe I learned while watching you show your daughter how to make challah a while ago. Thank you so much!! I love your channel!!
Hi Sonia, all the food you make looks delicious ❤i would love see an updated sourdough video if you could manage to get one out. I know you're a busy lady! I made a big boo boo and accidentally put too hot water in my starter and i need to build it back up again as i definitely killed off a lot of good bacteria in there 😢
Thank you Sonya. I can't wait to try some of those recipes. I have San Mariano tomatoes in my garden and they are so good. I use them for sauce. I had to rewatch this video several times because I keep falling asleep from working so much😢
I really like all your equipment, cleanliness, all the quality and healthy shopping, of course it's expensive, yes, and especially how to cook grilled chicken and potatoes, I really like seeing it, you are a mother who prioritizes children's welfare, health, and of course happiness because of basic needs you who are perfectly fulfilled, YAHWE bless you
I love to hit the produce, dry beans and meat sections hard and get a couple deli roasted chickens. I strip the chickens down and pressurecook the bones for broth, then can up the veggies and meats, beans for future dump and go recipes, later. My Costco weakness are the baklava and rugelach. My must buy is the big tubs of grape or cherry tomatoes for roating and sauces... so good!
I love your videos. All the meals look so delicious. l have watched the videos several times so I can write down the recipes. rub your pan with oil and salt. wipe the salt out with a damp towel. see if that helps.
When I go to Costco, I go crazy in the produce section. All the different lettuce is and vegetables and fruits. I just want to take all of them home and eat them.
Our Costco has a kosher meat section. I also usually get my fish from there if I do not get it at Aldi. Amazon has a non stick ceramic grill pan on sale for $24. They also have a larger one for $31. I, too, say amen after your blessings. They coat cheese with cellulose which is made from wood.
