What I personally am trying to achieve is sit in my kitchen.Look at the monitor control with joystick. G p s auto pilot missions long distance. Put a big antenna on my roof. down to the computer then to the monitor joystick control. Basically auto pilot the plane, manually control the camera and gimble. That has got to be possible.
been looking for this solution for a while. Thanks! will it interfere with operation of a Motion Controller? can you give the specific model number of the DJI Smart Controller?
Good morning FPV brother, thank you for your amazing videos. I have some drones with the DJI O3 system but without your control, I have a TBS Crossfire Pro. Will I be able to connect them to something like the Hawkeye Captain Monitor? I thought UBS c to HDMI would work :)
So TBS Crossfire is a control protocol and the DJI 03 system is a video transmitter sending digital video signal. After glancing quickly at the Hawkeye Captain Monitor you mentioned, it seems like the Hawkeye Captain Monitor can pick up on video signal both 5.8Ghz and 2.4 so In theory the monitor should work. I am not sure the video output possibility from the Hawkeye Captain Monitor but it looks like it provides RCA connection (Yellow White Red) I would assume if you used a TV or device that accepts RCA connection (Yellow White Red) then you should be able to get your FPV feed on said TV or device. I have not tested that hardware or configuration myself, but it makes sense in theory. Let me know if that helps or if you have any other questions
I'm looking to build a stand alone, long distance wireless video and monitor system. 1500 feet minimum. Assuming that quadcopter parts would be the place to start. Any suggestions?
Yes! Quadcopter parts would be a great place to start. What type of video are you trying to transmit? 1080p? … what is your video source? A video camera? Do you need to transmit the video on a private channel or need encryption? - let me know if you want to take this to email or a phone call
I'm thinking about getting into FPV but I'm concerned about motion sickness as it can be a slight issue for me in VR. Are there any ways to fly through a monitor without significant latency?
There are definitely ways around using the goggles, but each come with their pros and cons. I personally do not know a low-latency (non-goggle) approach that is purpose built. Maybe the community can chime in here to help come up with a solution
Any way to get the videostream onto a monitor without having to use (Dji) googles or is it an encryption thing which needs theses googles to "decrypt"?
I am sure there is another way. I unfortunately do not know of any other device or "decryptor" that would do that. Maybe someone here in the comments can help.
@@johnysins69696 Thank You for this feedback. I now have chosen to go with the Walksnail Avatar system. There is a HDpro-camera which gives me the lowlight functionality i am looking for.
Do you know if this works with the googles 2? I can't get this to work with the smart controller and avata "pro verson" just a black screen when I go into fpv live app. I have tried hdmi with camera view and duplicate and nothing works
great question. I unfortunately can not answer your question confidently. I do not have access to the goggles 2 yet. What you are saying should work in theory, but I can not confidently confirm. My apologies. Maybe check to be sure the firmware is up to date on every device. - it is also critical to use a high speed USB cable when connecting the goggles to the remote.
I appreciate you want to help, but this only applies to those old v2 goggles as far as dji goes. So, for everyone else that doesn't have a 1000 dollar dji controller, or old dji goggles, none of this applies

DJI smart controller RM500
I'm glad this video helped!

I get motion sickness in VR, but none when I fly FPV. Try it out, motion sickness may not be a problem!
Man this is dope. Will it work on vista? Or anything other than the DJI smart controller
Yes! Anything you can transmit through the DJI goggles should work

There are some cheap OTG receivers that can do this but they are for analog

Will this work for a DJI FPV drone? not sure 🤔😑😑
Yes it will
Do you know how to works in caddx vista air unit?
yes the caddx works as long as you use it with the DJI Goggles and DJI smart controller
@@TG_Shredsso you have to fly with a djismart controller radio?
what if I've got the radiomaster TX16s mk2
Hi is there any receiver otg/monitor to show Digital from DJI O3 without goggle?
I’m not sure. I don’t believe so unless someone else here in the comments knows
Dope intro bro
😜🙏🏼 thanks!

You are correct 👍🏼
I’m pretty sure Joshua Bardwell just put out a new video about how the new goggles have HDMI out. This video is starting to show its age.
You can’t just hook the goggles directly to the TV?
Unfortunately not. …not that I’m aware of
So i have to buy and fly an entirely different radio? Wtf i thought i bought a 300$ radio cuz it hsd everythingid need 🤦♂️
I as well have the radio master 16 S. There’s many ways to do this but yes, the way I’m showing requires the DJI smart controller.
