- 🇫🇷 J'ai eu l'occasion de tester l'effet cristal à plusieurs reprises, pour voir un peu ce que ça donnait, mais je n'avais encore jamais fait de vélo complet. Après quelques courtes hésitations avec un effet marbré plus classique, le propriétaire de ce Cannondale a finalement choisi l'effet cristal, pour mon plus grand bonheur !
Je n'avais encore jamais eu l'occasion de faire du pointillisme. J'avais bien fait quelques projections par-ci par là, mais je n'avais encore jamais pu le faire de cette façon-là : avec plusieurs coloris et sur l'ensemble du vélo ou presque.
Une des demandes de mon client pour ce CAAD12 concernait l'aspect des logos : il souhaitait en effet reproduire les logos Cannondale des années 1990, époque "CAD2".
Ça n'a pas été aussi simple que je le pensais, la plupart des ressources disponibles en ligne n'étant pas de qualité suffisante pour être exploitables. Il donc fallu que je recrée les logos à partir de fichiers basse définition, sur Adobe Illustrator. Le client est roi, n'est-ce pas ? 😉

🇬🇧 I had several opportunities to try the crystal effect in the past, but never had I used it on an entire bike. After some hesitation with a more classical marble effect, the owner finally chose crystal, to my great pleasure.
One of my client's requests for this CAAD12 was to reproduce the 1990's, "CAD2" era style for the logos.
It was harder than I thought it would be, since the available online ressources are to poor in quality to be exploited directly. So I had to replicate the logos manually on Adobe Illustrator, from low-definition files. The customer is king, innit? 😉

I very randomly purchased a caad12 2 years ago and it’s the most fun road bike I’ve ever had! I’d love a masterpiece like this one but would be terrified to crash it!! And the bike is too much fun to not ride😅

Je recommande sans hésiter les services de Cédric, la peinture est totalement comme je l’avais imaginée (encore plus beau en vrai), il est de très bon conseils et s’adapte à votre projet, le tout avec une super communication. Je viens de découvrir votre chaîne et viens de visionner quelques uns de vos travaux , et cela tombe bien , en effet j'ai un vieux Cannondale Synapse vert , noir et blanc que j'ai prêté à quelqu'un qui est tombé avec et la peinture du cadre a été âbimée dans la chute au niveau du hauban gauche . Combien faut in compter pour une peinture comme celle sur cette vidéo ( sachant que je vous démonterai le vélo en entier pour que vous puissiez travailler correctement ? ) Au plaisir de vous lire .
