🇫🇷 Ce vélo a été peint pour une occasion particulière : un voyage à vélo de 2000km en autonomie, réalisée par Élodie, une pompier de métier qui a pour objectif de récolter de l'argent afin de soutenir les pupilles des sapeurs pompiers.
Pour donner au vélo son style enfantin - l'enfance étant au cœur du périple initié par Élodie -, j'ai choisi de le peindre entièrement au pinceau, en laissant en l'état mes petites imperfections maladroites.

🇬🇧 This bike was painted for a very special occasion: a 2000km autonomous bike trip, made by Élodie, a firefighter, to raise funds for the Pupilles des Sapeurs Pompiers, an organisation that helps fire fighters orphans and their families.
In order to give this bike its childish look - childhood being at the heart of Elodie journey -, I chose to brush paint it entirely, leaving just as they were all my little clumsy imperfections.

🇫🇷 J'ai découvert Brompton il y a quelques années lors d'un week-end à Londres, et j'ai été émerveillé par l'ingéniosité du design de cet incroyable vélo. Ce que j'aime avec les ces vélos, c'est que leur aspect miniature en fait des sortes de jouets à l'abri du ridicule. Un paintjob "hot wheels" sur un autre vélo aurait toutes les chances d'être de très mauvais goût, alors que là, c'est juste.....

🇫🇷 Tout le monde n'a malheureusement pas la chance de pouvoir s'offrir un Melee, le vélo de chez Enve, mais il faut bien avouer que c'est un vélo magnifiquement réalisé. Le projet devait être très différent, mais mon client avait entre temps repéré un très beau S-Works rouge candy, qui l'a finalement séduit. J'ai suggéré une base marbrée pour ajouter de la texture au projet, et voilà le résulta...

Disc size you use for polishing ?
I can not believe my eyes... oh... my... god... this is one of the best looking frames, maybe the best looking frame I have ever seen. Just imagine the guys at Time Cycling thinking each and every time when they ship a ready to paint frame 'okay, try and beat our standard paint jobs' (because they are stunning to be honest) and then even leaving them speechless when they see this....
