I even ordered the Ocean's Trilogy 4K set through Gruv because of two reasons 1 At the time Gruv had a sale on 4K sets 2. compared to the price that Walmart was asking for it, I wound up saving 5 bucks just by ordering it on Gruv

I am a 4k collector however, sooo glad I didn't buy that Disney Willow 4k steelbook .....I watched my standard Willow bluray and was blown away how amazing it looked on my OLED CX, I bought the bluray from the discount Bin for $7 last year.....😂 so no wonder why they want stop bluray production. The willow bluray looks so good i just could not justify paying extra $63. I used my Willow free cash and got on 4k Demolitian Man and Kickboxer. Disney got there head way up ......😝
@megamikethemovieman maybe once everyone get burnout and they realise no one got money left possibly after all the Kill Bill steelbooks come ....newbies get buyers remorse for buying big empty box in a box with some cards. There a lot of good films scheduled to come out next year and $70 steelbooks gonna hurt people pockets.
Everything in society went up because of the pandemic but the pandemic is over. So now they say it's inflation how convenient to keep the high prices up. Well I don't buy it they're ripping us off. Don't buy the steelbooks? Fanboys will buy them no matter what.🤑 I rarely buy from Disney maybe Star Wars or 20th Century movies. And yeah their prices are outrageous but I don't want to buy bootlegs of everything I wanna support the makers. But if people bootleg I don't blame them. I've never bought from Gruv but Movies&Sue does buy from them and that's how I know of their prices. Anyway good rant and cool video Mike!👍 Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year 2025! 🎆
@megamikethemovieman you mean a movie? 3 from Grindhouse Releasing Cannibal Holocaust 4K, Cannibal Ferox 4K and The Beyond 4K. They were announced like 2 years ago and still haven't shown up. And these are big guns of Italian horror!😱

Lucasfilm legacy releases are the worst, the most lazy old transfers imaginable. Up til now they were reasonably priced, so you deal with the fact they are mixed at best releases with some good ones and some bad. No one would have bought any of the Star Wars films at 65 price point, no not even the theatrical original trilogy films as standalone 4K steelbooks. If Warner's puts out THX 1138 it had better not be 65 dollars. I mean I can get a non steelbook American Graffiti for 18 dollars. From Universal, which is horribly compressed and DNR'ed to hell and back but you can afford it and it comes with the legacy blu-ray.
I wouldn't pay $70. for a steelbook. Gruv is doing a great thing price wise👍
