I'd add that some of the best tems for the boss are toxic tanks: goolder, kalabyss, mushook with wastewater, tixic koush...even tulcan with noxious bomb! And scaravolt or cerneaf can be great supports and switchins. Nice video!

I got the mythical in my 3 try i got mudred and the mythical just spam is grass move on him while my other temtem attacked him untill he die (the fire shrine was so annoying and thx you really show us that you did a research 😁)

got my egg last night with a crew in a voice chat. the raids are definitely a treat but would not recommend pugging until everyone is onboard with the specific meta of how to approach it (my successful run(s) were early bonus stacking and late jewel pick ups)

I actually played more lairs after writing the intro to the script and the only one I failed was where one person used 8 jewels to revive themselves twice when we were just about to reach 18 jewels x.x
I've got some work to do before my team is ready but I'm excited to try it out soon! My friends finally got the game so I'm hoping we have some fun clearing the lair together when they're ready one day
The bonus your team gets and saving full revives are key, I got one that increased normal damage by 25% then used heat up on capyre while switching tems that take neutral damage from plague. The ai targets the tems with a green or white circle over the ones with red. Then once capyres atk was maxed out I spammed head ram. It easy if you just take advantage of the bonuses and max out your mvps damaging stat.
Also focus on getting atleast 5 or 6 gems for yourself. One player will drop out almost always, but along as they don’t revive you will all have enough gems to fight the boss at the end

@@Millarz Thank you. I actually just beat the lair and got Tyranak. I was pretty lucky. I got three toxic Temtems early on. Plus, one of the people I ran the lair with got the bonuses to start each battle with the Evade status and for Toxic attacks to do 25% more damage. A lot of the enemies were weak to Toxic and water and I had two Toxic Koish. When I got to the end I chose to heal my team fully instead of buying items, so going into the fight was stressful. Tyranak did get me down to my last two Temtem, but with the extra Toxic damage almost wiping out 1 life each attack I was able to win.
@@TrippleBPlays It'd be cool if the members of the party could help each other in some way, then the luckiest ones could help the ones with worse match-ups. Also, I don't understand why you have to pay to participate, I don't think you should have to pay for a challenge, at least not when farming money is not a fun thing to do in the game, I actually left a comment about that in the video haha.

Since it'll be your first time doing a lair, I recommend asking someone to join you guys and specify beforehand to not spend any jewels. You don't have to communicate with them the same way you're communicating with your friends

Bruh I feel it’s all luck for me because sometimes randoms don’t know what to do and the temtem they give you suck sometimes. I just wish I could use my temtem
It's luck, but it's also experience with comp and knowing how to play what you are given. It'll come with time and practice. Doing ladder matches and dojo rematches helps with that. I've done 15 lairs so far and have only whited out once. It was at the very end, but it only happened because my internet crashed in a shop and I didn't get to buy the items I needed :S
I have a question: What's the point of breeding for perfect SV's if they get scaled in competitive battles anyways? Also, love your videos! I always come to this channel if I need to figure out something about Temtem hahaha
They get scaled in ladder matches but not anything else like dojo rematches and tournament matches. You don't NEED perfect temtem but they're nice to have

I considered not putting it in the thumbnail, but then I realized people are walking around with tyranaks in game so you'd see it before you did the lairs anyways. Would that have been much different? Honest question, since if it is different I'll try to censor things like this in the future

Temtem is a very good game, but imo it has some big flaws, a good example is how you have to pay to access the lair. Why? People are trying to a accomplish something when they will suddenly realize they have to interrupt their efforts to annoyingly farm money, it's not even as if the Lair was super easy in the first place (by which I mean, it's not as if most people could complete it in the first few tries). Same goes for quick travel: why do you have to pay to quick-travel? Quick travel was introduced for players not to be forced to walk the same paths over and over again.... so then let people do that! Having to pay for it goes against the objective of the mechanic, because it was introduced for players to avoid repetitive scenarios, but because they have to pay for it they either will have to save money and go through them nontheless or, again, eventually be forced to farm money. Not everything has to have a price! (in videogames of course) If something being free makes the game more fun, and it doesn't make the game unbalanced, then let it stay free!
Once you have a team for dojo rematches, the price for lairs isn't that much of a bother. You make some money back from the wish you well coins you get from it too. As for quick travel, most mmos require you to pay for quick travel, though I do agree that the price could be lowered. Without money sinks like this, inflation can set in quickly, not that I know much on game economy
Being totally honest, I closed the video at 4:15 and looked up the rest. The "like or I won't make quality videos" style is really terrible. I understand like/dislike/comments ratios are important for analytics, but this line really stands out in a poor way. I totally get that. I didn't mean it to come off as a threat. I had just spent 20 hours pretty much non-stop making this video since posting the previous one. I was doubting whether or not it was worth all of the effort and mental health sacrifices to make something of this quality when another youtuber had 8 times the views I did for 1/20th of the effort. I barely got any sleep between posting the previous video to this one. I'm still not really sure if it's worth it tbh. I'm not fishing for a compliment or apology or anything from you if it looks like I am. I'm just getting things off my chest. I didn't like it when other youtubers asked for likes either before I became one and realized where they were coming from. I will say though that asking does actually work and this video has one of the highest like to view ratios of any of my videos. I appreciate your honesty and constructive criticism. Temtem is an mmorpg. Multiplayer aspects like this are kind of required for it to be an mmorpg. You'll be able to find people to play with on the official Temtem discord though!

Most of my money nowadays comes from dojo rematches. If you do those every week, 2500 isn't much at all
