Hello Ben and Ming. Thank you for showing us authentic dim sum! Real dim sum is served in the morning on fast moving carts in crowded, often noisy Cantonese restaurants, like the Golden Unicorn in Manhattan or Asian Jewels in Flushing. It's a lot of fun!
Haha noisy just like the background noise in this video 🤪 Can’t wait for the push carts to fully return! We loveee Asian Jewels 💛 Thanks for watching, Bob!
Really enjoyed the video. A lot of people mentioned the Nom Wah Tea Parlor and looking at the websites for there and the Golden Unicorn I think I'd lean more towards the Nom Wah. Is Dim Sum a lunch thing or is it available throughout the day? I'm more likely to be visiting somewhere in the evening and just wondering if ordering Dim Sum after a certain time I will be pointed at and laughed at (not quite that extreme but you know what I mean?)
I'm going to be in NYC a week from now. I was planning on wandering Chinatown one day and basically snacking around the neighborhood for a few hours (9am-1pm maybe?), but seeing the long lines makes we wonder whether that's a good idea or not. Is it better to just choose one or two good places?
That’s a good attitude because most people in the general public just want to order burgers or other foods from their childhood and it can get boring after a while.
Sometimes the internet can be bad because you are learning so much. Back in the old days you would not know much information and life can be less complicated
In my opinion chopstick skills are not that essential. You can you use your hands for dim sum or sushi and you don’t have to feel embarrassed because many non Asians that I have noticed don’t know how to use chopsticks so you’re not alone
Our dim sum restaurant in Cincinnati usually doesn't have long lines. I can't remember the restaurants we visited while in New York Chinatown years ago. But we had fun!!!
I'm loving these ask the people on the street segments.
We have a lot of fun chatting with people too! Glad you like this series, Dave! 🤩
This video makes me SO hungry. It all looks so delicious.
They all look delicious , the art of using chop sticks is on my bucket list ❤️❤️❤️
Best of luck, Monica! 🤞🥢
So many great dim sum places in Manhattan Chinatown! Tell your your brother a little makeup and he can look as beautiful as you. LOL.
So many dim sum spots to choose from! Haha we must look pretty alike then 😜
Golden Unicorn or Jing Fong Restaurant I know are some of the best for Dim Sum. The best of the five boroughs I hear is in Flushing, Queens.
Agree, Golden Unicorn for the win
Vlogmas !! Keep
Rocking
Yesss, we’re a third of the way there 🙌
Golden unicorn 🦄 ok I’m in

Hi 👋 can you do a video on Korea town I will be visiting soon and wondering what’s all there
We actually have 2 K-town videos coming right up 🥳
Ming your brother is so cute!!!!!!!!! 😍😍
Don’t let his head get too big 🤪🤪
Chinatown dimsum is the way to go!
Flushing & Chinatown dim sum 🙌🙌🙌
I love how there is an obvious increase in background noise at the dim sum parlor 😂
Went to golden unicorn in the fall of 2019, glad to see that it is still packed as ever
So much support for Golden Unicorn 🦄
I have been looking for a non pork dim sum place. I’m wondering if you guys know I
Such place
That’s a tough one! Maybe need to pick very specific dishes instead of a restaurant, there’s def vegetarian dimsum option as well
From Midland Michigan you guys are cool
I love New York
The Ultimate Asian brunch
What happened to the soup dumplings?
Ben wasn’t very careful & popped them all in a previous video 😅
First!!!!!!!
Noice! 🥳
Looooove Golden Unicorn!

I’m so jealous. We haven’t been for dim sum in almost 2 years. 😭😭😭 Ming, your brothers a lightweight LOL. He could barely keep up with you.
Haha he ate a great amount! Hope you get to enjoy some dim sum soon 😄
You can find dim sum in many major cities in America. It won’t be as good as New York but still good.
Golden Unicorn would be my choice also.

Both are good
@1:20, Dis Fool said, Wo Hop is right around the corner. Hey JERKY, Wo Hop is right behind you on the next block & same side.
The food ming eats is always delicious haha 😋
Love them all! 🤤
Watching this made me so hungry for dim sum! 😊
Hope you get to enjoy some soon, Marianna! 😁
😊
😊
☺️☺️☺️😎
Thanks for sharing, Watching this make me so hungry for dim sum 🤤🤤🤤
This is so informative wow, puts everything in perspective
Nom wah is a tourist trap like New York noodle town
If I lived in or near NYC, this would be breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even if I get Covid every week, probably worth it.
I agree, I also feel the same for pizza slices too since pizza slices here in the south are bad
HEY FAM GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS 👍😁💯💚
Thank you for watching! 🥳🥳
Probably cost triple today !!

The lines may look long, but they move fast. You can definitely visit a few great spots during your visit in Chinatown! Have a great time 🌞
Great! Thanks so much! I didn't get down there during my first trip to NYC and I really want to cover the neighborhood as well as I can. 🙂
@@jackprather3471 It's def a spot you gotta visit when you're in NYC! We hope you'll love it 🤗
Dim Sum Palace iz Gone. Burnt Down!!!
Please do an seafood video🥰.
I love their videos! They make me want to try new foods.
Try try try!
That’s a good attitude because most people in the general public just want to order burgers or other foods from their childhood and it can get boring after a while.
YUM Cha
Good choices at the restaurant, but the background noise is a little to loud for your review. Maybe using individual mics would help👍🏼
out of curiosity, how much did all that cost? never been to NY so just wondering. Thank you
Dim Sum is not cheap. Probably like $4-8 for each dish so you do the math and I think I counted like around 8 dishes so you do the math.
If you’re bringing a family, it may get expensive. But for me as a person always eats alone, it should be affordable since I only need about 3 plates
Is Dim Sum and Soup dumplings the same thing? Do you do tours? Thanks for sharing great vlog.
👍
ugghh everything looks good but why does everything have PORK in it?? even in the taro ball and tofu!! i can't eat pork 😢
Sometimes the internet can be bad because you are learning so much. Back in the old days you would not know much information and life can be less complicated
If only i could use chopsticks lol
In my opinion chopstick skills are not that essential. You can you use your hands for dim sum or sushi and you don’t have to feel embarrassed because many non Asians that I have noticed don’t know how to use chopsticks so you’re not alone
I was hoping they’d show how much all of that cost.
The fact that no one said Hop Lee hurts my soul
Our dim sum restaurant in Cincinnati usually doesn't have long lines. I can't remember the restaurants we visited while in New York Chinatown years ago. But we had fun!!!
I think outside of New York and the west coast, dim sum crowds are smaller since there’s less Chinese people.
Got to love going to Yum Cha
how much was it?! that would cost about $150 or more in my city
It shouldn’t be that expensive because you only need maybe 2 or 3 dim sum plates for a meal per person.
excellent
😊😊
😊
Now this is a feast
It’s food of the gods
