The Super Taste dumplings look like "potsticker" or "guo tee" pan-fried dumplings you might find in mid-northeastern China and Shanghai region
My fave dumplings when i go for Shanghainese cuisine
I heard they sometimes connect them lengthwise in a row, similar to the Machete quesadillas in your Mexico city food tour. Definitely on the food bucket list!

Thanks John. Wife and I just back from NYC/DC trip to celebrate our 29th anniversary and I watched a lot of your videos which made the visit a whole lot better.
Bit of a hike down Canal street (and back) from the Canal Metro to get to China town but it was worth it. $2 pork and chive dumplings from Tasty Dumpling then sit across the road in Columbus park to eat them. Really chilled out area with the men on the big gambling Mah-jong table and the wives on the little mah-jong tables like they were having a family picnic. Then up the little hill to Ping's for more dim sum. Finished that off before the trek back with a short hop crossing Canal street to Cannoli King for a few beers and some Cannolis (Never tried them before but man they soo good). Tony the Nose (the out front guy for 30+ years is fun too). Odd contrast from Chinatown to little Italy. Completely different people, atmosphere, everything, just by crossing the road. Very weird.
    Many thanks again.

Chinatowns in general are usually not popular among locals especially if the person is not Chinese. In the real world, most people in the general public are not foodies and not interested in authentic Chinese food even if it’s good.

I don't think Cantonese food is spicy at all unless you douse it with spice. It should be eaten as is to savor them in their natural flavor and not hide it. I do understand some of those dishes come from different parts of China and probably are served on the spicy side😊
