great video! bbq olive chicken is my go to spot that I bring a friend to. You can eat good for $12-15, high ceilings allows you to talk without yelling, and they playing nice music. All the friends I've brought to BBQ Olive Chicken liked it, it's a safe choice. Some other spots I like is Abiko Curry and Let's Meat KBBQ.
Hey Ben, Hey Ming, it’s Vinny. It was nice meeting you guys at the meet. BBQ chicken and Jongro are my spots. That was funny the day that we met, I was supposed to go to a Jongro, but it was too packed and the wait was over an hour an a half. And from BBQ chicken I love this soy garlic chicken. Awesome video guys.
Hey Vinny, it was nice to meet you this past weekend as well 🌞 Jongro is always packed!! Did you wait the line or go to a different spot? & Yess soy garlic is amazing 🙌
10:35 I wonder why not peanut oil ( higher smoke point) but probably because of allergies. But avocado and grapeseed oils are better with smoke points but definitely pricey.
hello tbb, thank you for walking back and forth ktown street for the food there - favorite restaurant is still the one on the corner of broadway across the chase bank - usually eat downstairs for some dukmandoo with seafood pajeon. and 20 years ago when we're now parents - we were the cool kids with airmax (silver) as our different color hairs and all jet black with frost blondes walking in to eat. elle for bibimgi
hello tbb, not sure what happened to north korea and the black hood comment on there says f#$@ that or something and ends up with the most typcial communist 'nazi' word to a female. wish the koreans find their soul and wear no hoods.
We are coming in October and while we have Popeyes down here we simply don’t have any Asian styles of fried chicken. I want to try Korean and Taiwanese chicken and anything else you guys would recommend… if you guys have specific suggestions I would be soooo grateful!😊
Shanghai Mong is THE WORST restaurant in that AREA. Jongro Gopchang and Gopchang Story are fantastic. Five Senses and New Wonjo are still good. But were definitely better pre-covid. Antoya has amazing Galbi Tang.
The smiles, the enthusiasm, the energy-what would a Sunday be without you? Thanks guys!
Too kind, made our day as well - thank you!! Have a great week 🌞

I'm staying at a hotel in K-Town in September (first visit) so will be sure to check out a couple of the places mentioned.
OMG just checked and my hotel is 60 metres from bb.q Chicken. I'm in.
I will be trying that chicken spot next
Enjoy it to the fullest!
Is the kimbab place still there?
I’m hungry again 🤤
This is familiar 🤣

Why is there a Chinese restaurant in K-Town? I mean, what's Chinatown for?
One thing you don't see anymore in NYC K-Town: Koreans
