Recently heard a story where John paul jones was working as a producer on an album. The author said JPJ was sitting by himself playing the bass. Everyone is going about their business and then he started to play Heartbreaker. Everyone stopped talking. Everyone stopped moving. Could you imagine?
Warning just when you think you found your favorite zeppelin song. Then you hear another and it becomes your favorite.and you hear another and it takes you somewhere totally different. Than that’s your favorite. Just when you think ok it can’t get any better than this. You hear another and it just keeps getting better and better. Now all the songs become your favorite. Because there are no bad zeppelin songs. Only timeless masterpieces. That each are unique and take you to different places. Hard Rock, Blues,Reggae, Folk, Country, Funk, R&B, Soul , Pop,Psychedelic Rock. You will hear all these. Led Zeppelin the most diverse band . They could wake up in the morning and flip a coin and say ok let’s play this or let’s do that. The reason is because they can. Very few bands ever could do this. Just another reason Led Zeppelin is the greatest band then. Now . And will forever be. You have a long journey my friend. Enjoy the ride

Although I never heard of any groupy being tossed. But there are the stories of the time a girl was getting into a large fish. Or should I say ,the fish was getting into the girl. I just love how much BizMatik appreciates music that I grew up on. He recognizes the amazing individual talents from each of the band members. How they came together to make a sound that was the most innovative and fresh vibe that just kept an ongoing rock renaissance revolution throughout the 60's and 70's. Thank you BizMatik for bringing it all back. My reaction when this stuff first came out was exactly the same as your reaction now. Which makes this music TIMELESS!

So long ago now, but the first and second zeppelin albums are the best debut albums by any band, this album redefined heavy rock, so many great memories

Jimmy Page occasionally played his guitar with a cello bow to create a droning sound texture to the music. True artists. I was 12 when this came out, thanks for taking me on a time travelling journey!

I’ve never thought about it that way bro, expecting love from someone the same as a mother to a child. That’s tough I felt like I gave it that much and I expected that same amount of love back but that’s too much to expect from anyone even if I’m giving that much. One thing I would love to see is if you were to bring on somebody who isn’t as well-versed with your taste in music and gave them the kind of explanation and rundown of some of your favorite songs that you would like from a person.
I also loved how you listened to the original black Betty after listening to the cover. I think that should be done more often and it’s completely underutilized. Since you did a Ram Jam Leadbelly cover you should maybe consider when Nirvana covered “where did you sleep last night“ live on MTV unplugged. That’s another Leadbelly song that was resurrected by a modern band And boy oh boy does that song have a dark history and meaning.

They kept getting better. "Physical Graffiti" came out in '75 and was their sixth album and maybe there best (or at least equal to Led Zep IV).
