Nice informative Vid. Your Vid has more information than Stihl website. Gave me some answers on some of my concerns. This was the first I heard about the slippage with the pole. I believe the HT135 is the only telescopic model now. One of Stihl models was discontinued, think it was HT131 ???. Keep up with your Vids. Enjoyed watching it.... 👍👍
Thanks for your comment! Yeah, the pole clasp has been a lot better the rest of this past year. It was slipping a bit when the saw was new, after I broke it in a bit more it seemed to tighten down better. It’s a great saw, I use this thing on a lot of jobs and it shows up and delivers power and performance 👍🌲🌳
I bought this same saw. Commercial grade stihl saws is what I normally buy. I did a bit of research before I bought it. I've kept the stock bar and chain. I've used it a fairly good bit since July. The one complaint I have is the rpm limiter, keeping the saw from running full tilt. I've had the same issue with the pole lock. it's not that big of an issue right now. I'm keeping it stock for the time being because of the warranty. At some point in the future, I may mod the muffler, but as it is right now, I have no major complaints. Thanks for your review, I haven't seen very many reviews on this saw. It's nice to compare
Yeah, it’s a great tool no doubt; and it’s definitely paid for itself over and over for myself I know that. I’ll probably grab a 14” or 16” bar at some point to switch out in certain jobs if needed. This thing has the power no prob 👍👏🌲🌳
I run seafoam in my 2-stroke mix but you could mix in stabilizer if that’s what you like using. I also use husqvarna 2-stroke oil and it has stabilizer already in it too.
I haven’t used the 131 r but I’ve used a similar type of setup in the past, a shindaiwa model. I’d say a good option for homeowners or landscape/gardeners because of the versatility of the unit with the different attachments you can use. If versatility in different attachments is of interest for someone I’d say go with something like the kombi unit,; if the sole need is to cut tree branches, and a lot of them on a consistent basis, I’d go with a straight up pole saw, like the HT 135
Haven’t used any husqvarna pole saws, I’m sure they’ve got some good models out though. I was actually gonna go with an Echo pole saw originally, but shipping was gonna take a while and I needed the saw that day so went with the Stihl.
Thanks bud
No problemo! 👍🌳🌲

Is it an all metal gear case and metal under the white cover that has “vents” on the power head?
Buy once, cry once. Old cliché but always rings true. I bought this exact model and swapped out to a 16" bar and went to town. No regrets.
Nice, yeah she’s a great saw, gets the job done with ease no prob 👍
How much was the 16” bar ? I’m buying the 135 battery version tomorrow
It has a 14 inch Bar.. Main reason I chose it some of them only have the 12" Bar. Great video!! Just saying Thanks for the review.
You betcha, thanks for checking the vid! Seasons greetings to you 🌲
Yooo... brother do you use STA-BIL IN UR FUEL WITH THIS POLE SAW OR NOT?

comparing it to the kombi 131r with pole saw attachment?
