Thanks, helpful tips. What would also be appreciated are instructions for time and distance from your blow torch to get to a workable temperature to give a few seconds to insert the insert or a point so that they're not too hot and neither is the carbon. Ice water might also be a good idea to quickly cool the assembled parts. Safety suggestion... it could be explosive if you bumped your torch and it hit the isopropyl alcohol plastic bottle. I don't know how fire tolerant they are.
Been having issues with the glue that comes with the easton hit inserts breaking free from the carbon after a few shots. Is this hot melt a more durable glue than the standard easton glue?
No way! This hot melt is very temporary compared the Easton HIT glue. I have never had an insert come loose when using the HIT glue. Make sure to degrease everything well, and allow a full 24 hours to cure that HIT glue. It should be rock solid!
Thanks! Cooling off in water was a helpful tip I didn't know about.

Thanks again for the feedback. I will put another video on my "to-do" list to clarify these things. Good point about the IPA and the torch!!

@@LimbbenderLounge I'm shooting victory arrows so there may be an issue there then.
